Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance and maintenance of the 21-ton/hour capacity boiler at PT XYZ through the application of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. The boiler machine plays a crucial role in the production process, but it often experiences performance degradation that can disrupt the smooth operation of the company. OEE is used to measure how well the machine operates based on three main aspects: availability, performance, and quality. In addition, this study also uses the Six Big Losses analysis to identify the main causes of performance losses in the machine. The data used includes operational time, downtime, and the product quality of the boiler machine from January to December 2024. The analysis results show that the average OEE value of the boiler machine at PT XYZ reaches 93.49%, with an average availability value of 96.37%, performance value of 97.07%, and quality value of 100%. However, the main issues found are losses due to sudden breakdowns (breakdown losses) of 3.64% and reduced speed losses of 1.18%. The performance decline is mostly caused by issues with fuel and combustion. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct more routine fuel testing and improve the combustion process to reduce soot formation and maintain machine stability. This research is expected to assist PT XYZ in improving boiler machine performance and the smooth operation of production.

Abstract

This article examines the intellectual transformation of Islam, focusing on the 13th-century scientific legacy and the challenges facing Islamic education in today's digital age. The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, which examines various literature related to the history of classical Islamic scholarship as well as the development of digital technology and its impact on Islamic education in the Digital Age. This study highlights how the 13th-century Islamic intellectual tradition, which integrated religious and scientific knowledge and developed the madrasah education system, has become a crucial foundation for facing the changing times. In the digital age, Islamic education faces various challenges such as disparities in technological access, low digital literacy among educators and students, and the risk of distortion of Islamic values ​​due to the dissemination of unfiltered digital content. However, the digital era also opens up significant opportunities through the use of e-learning platforms, artificial intelligence technology, project-based learning, and social media as a means of interaction and collaboration. The study concludes that the success of the transformation of Islamic education in the digital age depends heavily on the ability to balance the preservation of classical intellectual heritage with technological adaptation, thereby creating a generation of Muslims with integrated intellectual and spiritual intelligence and capable of facing global challenges. This research provides strategic recommendations for Islamic educational institutions to optimize digital technology effectively and ethically, in order to improve the quality of learning and the practice of Islamic values ​​amidst the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and formulate strategies to optimize the role of Radar Sukabumi, a leading local media outlet in West Java, as a public education platform based on Islamic values. As a region with a strong Islamic boarding school (pesantren) base, the Sukabumi community has a strong religiosity, necessitating a contextual approach to media education. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The results indicate that Radar Sukabumi has played a role in disseminating Islamic-themed information. However, further optimization is needed, particularly in the development of educational digital content and the integration of Islamic values (such as rahmatan lil 'alamin, religious moderation, and social ethics) into each news column. Optimizing this role is expected to foster polite and educative public literacy amidst the flow of digital information.

Abstract

The phenomenon of rising intolerance, radicalism, and extreme religious tendencies among the youth has become a serious challenge in education, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This condition demands strategic efforts to instill the values of religious moderation through the learning process in educational institutions. Islamic Religious Education plays a crucial role in shaping students' character to foster a moderate, tolerant, and inclusive religious attitude by internalizing moderate Islamic values within the PAI curriculum. This study aims to explore in depth the implementation of moderate Islamic values in PAI learning to shape moderate attitudes at MA Mu’allimin NWDI Pancor. Utilizing a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: The moderate Islamic values identified at MA Mu’allimin NWDI Pancor include tawasuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i’tidal (justice). The implementation of moderate Islamic values in PAI learning at both schools is carried out by integrating them into the learning materials, employing teaching methods that encourage critical thinking, organizing supporting programs for religious moderation, and conducting evaluations based on student attitudes and behavior. The outcomes of implementing PAI learning in shaping moderate attitudes at MA Mu’allimin NWDI Pancor reflected in four indicators: national commitment, tolerance, anti-radicalism and violence, and accommodation toward local culture.
