Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Circle Passing and Y Passing Pattern training on the passing accuracy of SSB Mitra Sampangan U-12 players. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this research is "two group pretest post-test design". The population and sample in this study were all SSB Mitra Sampangan U-12 players totaling 20 people. Sampling in this study was done with total sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study is the T test using SPSS 25. The results stated that there was an increase in mean of the passing test after the implementation of Circle Passing and Y Passing Pattern training. The Circle Passing training group has a pretest average value of 5.10 and a posttest average value of 6.60 with a percentage increase of 29% and Y Passing Pattern training has a pretest average value of 4.90 and a post-test average value of 6.70 with a percentage increase of 36%. Based on the results of the research data, it can be concluded that Circle Passing and Y Passing Pattern exercises both have an influence on the passing accuracy of the players. Y Passing Pattern training is better than Circle Passing training on the passing accuracy of SSB Mitra Sampangan U-12 players

Abstract

There is a decline in achievement and many students fail to perform the upper serve. This study aims to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and arm length to the ability to serve over the men's extracurricular bolavoli SMP N 1 Grobogan. This research instrument is a measurement of arm muscle strength using a pull and push dynamometer, measurement of arm length using anthropometry, and a bolavoli top serve test using AAHPER. Data analysis used, namely descriptive analysis, prerequisite test, correlation test (product moment and multiple correlation), and determination coefficient test. The results of the research analysis showed that: There is a contribution of arm muscle strength to the ability to serve over the men's volleyball extracurricular of SMP Negeri 1 Grobogan of R Square = 0.543 or 54.3%, (2) There is a contribution of arm length to the ability to serve over the men's volleyball extracurricular of SMP Negeri 1 Grobogan of R Square value = 0.240 or 24%. (3) There is a contribution of both arm muscle strength and arm length to the ability to serve the men's extracurricular bolavoli at SMP Negeri 1 Grobogan of R Square = 0.578 or 57.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of Tai Chi Quan training on the performance of Indonesia's junior table tennis athletes. A total of 20 Indonesia junior table tennis athletes aged 14-18 years were put into an experimental group with taichiquan training. The group that received Tai Chi Quan training was trained for 60 minutes, while the control group continued to practice table tennis as usual. Changes in body conditions such as blood pressure, heart rate, changes in anxiety, feelings of confidence, and performance in playing table tennis are measured before and after training. The results of this study were that there was a change in anxiety level at the test point in the tai chi quan group after exercise, while in the control group there was no increase. There were changes that occurred after the exercise treatment, namely cognitive anxiety (x=-1.85; -18.60%), while in the control group (x=- 0.21; -2.31%). In addition, somatic anxiety (x=-3.35; -27.56%). The self-confidence component was negatively correlated with other variables, where in the tai chi quan group the value increased (x=1.96; 11.27%) while in the control group it decreased (x=-0.27; -1.67%). The conclusion of this study is that sixty minutes of tai chi quan training can reduce the anxiety level of Indonesia's junior table tennis athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of arm muscle strength, jump height, and height on the accuracy of basketball shots in students aged 12-15 years. The research problem arises from the gap between students' high enthusiasm for basketball and the inconsistent shooting results they achieve. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research subjects consisted of 34 male students from Public Middle School 22 Semarang who were selected randomly. The data collection involved physical fitness assessments, such as push-ups to measure arm muscle strength, vertical jumps to gauge jumping proficiency, height measurements with a stadiometer, and shooting tests utilizing a jump. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 25, which included descriptive tests, prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), and multiple linear regression. The results showed a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.147, indicating that the three variables collectively contributed only 14.7% to shooting ability. The ANOVA test yielded a significance value of 0.183, which is greater than 0.05, and the partial test also showed no significant effect from each independent variable. These findings suggest that shooting success in adolescents is more influenced by factors such as mastery of basic techniques, movement coordination, and training experience.
