Abstract

The partner in this community partnership program activity is Mrs. Ni Nengah Resti whose address is in Tegallinggah Village, Karangasem District. Jaje begina production is produced using sufficient and simple equipment, both in processing and in the packaging process. Marketing is carried out conventionally by partners by leaving products in nearby stalls and selling them to the market. Another obstacle faced by partners in the packaging process is still using staples without labels. The solutions provided in this service activity are based on the principles of intensification, extensification and rationalization in three activity methods of awareness, capacity building and mentoring. The aim of this community service is how to increase the quantity and quality of products from partners. The results of the service show that partners are able to increase the quantity and quality of products, where the time needed to produce such snacks is shorter than before. Products produced by partners already have the label "jaje begina me' resti" with marketing using the social media fan page Facebook. The partner response was very satisfying with a percentage of 72,14%.

Abstract

Mitra dalam pengabdian saat ini adalah kelompok PKK Tempet Kangin yang beranggotakan 12 orang. Kelompok PKK ini bergerak dalam bidang sosial dan kegiatan eknomi. Kegiatan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok ini adalah memproduksi kacang bali (kacang kapri dan kacang mentik) dengan produksi sebanyak 40 kg sebulan. Hal ini dilakukan karena peralatan yang digunakan terbatas. Kacang yang diproduksi dijual dengan kemasan sekala besar dengan rasa original karena hasil produksi diambil langsung oleh pengepul. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu keterbatasan alat produksi dan pengemasan, pengemasan dalam skala besar, produk yang dihasilkan hanya satu jenis varian dan satu jenis kemasan dan proses pemasaran produk terbatas karena langsung dijual ke pengepul. Pemecahan masalah yang diberikan yaitu dengan memberikan sumbangan alat – alat produksi dan beberapa pelatihan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap monitoring. Hasil pengabdian yang diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan kapasistas produksi, adanya berbagai kemasan, rasa dan varian produk yang siap dipasarkan melalui pemasaran digital. Kegiatan evaluasi dan monitoring yang sudah dilakukan dalam kegiaatan pengabdian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada mitra telah terlaksanakan sesuai dengan perencanaan serta target kegiatan yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

This service research aims to improve the basic English language skills of students at SDN 1 Sayan Ubud through the implementation of an interactive training program. The background of this research is based on the observation that although English is an important skill in the era of globalization, the level of mastery of basic English among elementary school students still needs to be improved, especially in areas that have the potential to become tourism destinations such as Ubud. This training program is designed with student-centered methods, integrating participatory activities, educational games, and the use of audio-visual media to create a fun and effective learning environment. This approach is expected to stimulate students' interest in learning English and accelerate vocabulary acquisition and basic comprehension. The implementation of the program involved the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data was collected through participatory observation, pre-test and post-test to measure students' comprehension improvement, as well as questionnaires to obtain feedback on the effectiveness of the program. The expected results of this program are significant improvements in students' cognitive and affective abilities related to English, which include mastery of basic vocabulary, ability to construct simple sentences, and confidence in communicating. It is hoped that this program can serve as a model for similar efforts in other schools to support language acquisition.

Abstract

The analysis is based on three hypotheses which is not correlated one other. There are three hypothesis used in this research. The first one is the economic explanation, the second one is cultural values, and the last one is cognitive explanation. The first hypothesis (economic explanation) is not reliable if we combine to the third hypothesis (cognitive explanation) because those theories overlap each other. Theory of economic explanation mentions that there is a positive relationship between the economic health of cities and helping people. It means that the healthier of the economic condition in one city would affect the positively in the behavior of the people in helping the other people. So, we would expect that the rich city which has an excellent economic condition would have a tendency in helping the others. Meanwhile the theory of cognitive explanation mentions that the people in the country which have a high walking speed would tend not to help the others since everybody is busy with their own business and have a lack of time to help the people in the street.

Abstract

Pronunciation is one of the key aspects in which area the students must improve in the university. One person can communicate to the other in a language when they can understand each other and if they can understand each other it means that they have a very good pronunciation especially for English it is not very easy to pronounce some words for some speaker especially for the Indonesian speaker it is not very easy to pronounce all of the English words because the Indonesian language is very different with the English language. That is why pronunciation is one of the lesson that must be taught in the class because not all of the Indonesian people can pronounce the English words correctly they need more practice do you pronounce the words because the Exxon of the Indonesian people are very strong and they need a lot of practice at home or in the classroom with the teachers to practice work to improve their pronunciation. This is very important especially if they want to communicate with the native speaker especially for the English native speaker and they will not understand what the people say unless we pronounce the word correctly. And to pronounce the word correctly needs a lot of practices not just in the classroom but also practices at home.

Abstract

The religious ceremonial activities of the Hindu community in Bali cannot be separated from offerings or what is known as banten or jasajen. To support the ceremony, the community needs various ceremonial offerings according to the level of the religious ceremony being carried out. The change in the lifestyle of the Balinese people from agricultural to industrial has changed the life structure of the Balinese people. At every religious ceremony, the Balinese Hindu community has switched to buying offerings for reasons of busy daily work, social activities, infrastructure, the influence of globalization, knowledge, and so on. This is what triggered the emergence of the upakara offering business. This time's service partner is Mrs. Mangku Karta who has managed the upakara offering business for around 6 years. Mitra sells upakara offerings at his house on Jalan Gatot Subroto I Denpasar. Based on the results of the interview, the partner does not have financial bookkeeping as an effort to record his business finances. Based on the partner's situation, the service proposing team has plans to carry out training on financial bookkeeping applications, namely recording all income and expenses related to financial activities including purchases, sales, operational costs, salaries and other transactions using Paper.id financial application. Based on the results of interviews regarding mastery of the material, it was discovered that participants had reached 95% mastery of the material. The output produced in this service is financial control or control which is carried out compulsorily and regularly in accumulating all types of financial data and information on partner businesses.
