Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of the condition of nomophobia among college students in Yogyakarta. This research was conducted by discussing descriptive qualitative. The number of subjects in this study were 48 students studying in Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques using observation ,interviews and surveys based on Nomophobia theory. The results showed that 100% of students have social media applications and short message applications that are used every day. Students feel anxious when they can’t connect to the internet so they can’t access information and communicate. Students still carry smartphones wherever they go even to the toilet. The habit that ultimately causes students to experience nomophobia is to always access the smartphone all the time and feeling lazy to do other activities. When they are confused about what to do, students choose to find entertainment through smartphones.

Abstract

Husband's infidelity is one of the existence of the cause of domestic violence resulting in low self-acceptance wife. LaTahzan forgiveness therapy aims to help the wife as the victim of violence to be able to break loose from negative feelings, improving both themselves and condition became more positive, and find a new purpose in life to get closer to Allah SWT as a God. Subjects in this study amounted to three wives who are victims of violence and infidelity. Data was collected through action research approach and use the scale self-acceptance, observation and interviews. Measurement of self-acceptance scale is performed three times that are before the intervention, after an intervention, and follow up by two weeks post intervention. The data used quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative analysis is used, based on measurements on a scale of self-acceptance. Qualitative analysis was conducted based on the outcome document of observations and interviews during the assessment phase to the follow-up phase. The results showed that the La-Tahzan Forgiveness therapy can provide a change towards a better subject in an effort to increase self-acceptance wife who experienced domestic violence.Keywords: La-Tahzan Forgiveness Therapy, domestic violence, Self-Acceptance,Infidelity

Abstract

Mental health in adolescence vulnerable to decline during the covid-19 pandemic. They are the next generation of the nation, where the success of a country can be seen from the quality of the nation, adolescents have a big role as agents of change. This research focused on knowing the effectiveness of Islamic Hypnotherapy in reducing stress in adolescents during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design used two groups, namely the control and experimental groups. The research subjects were 58 adolescents who indicated stress with high and very high scores based on the DASS scale survey. The data analysis method used is nonparametric statistical analysis with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to test the differences in the pre-test and post-test conditions in one group and Mann Whitney U Test to test the differences between the two groups, using SPSS 21 for Windows. The results showed that p = 0.004 which means p < 0.05. This shows that there is a difference between the experimental group and the control group. Islamic Hypnotherapy can have a stress-reduction effect of 53.74. So it can be concluded that Islamic Hypnotherapy is effective for reducing stress in adolescents during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has lasted more than a year. This of course has an impact on all aspects of people's lives, both economically, socially and educationally. This impact is certainly also felt by people with mental disorders, one of which is Bipolar sufferers. Just like individuals in general, they also experience a difficult adjustment period in dealing with changes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, psychologically, their mental condition is clearly different from other individuals. Mentally, bipolar survivors are more susceptible to stress and it is feared that they will experience relapses more often during the COVID-19 pandemic, even though they must continue to do activities, work and carry out their respective obligations. Difficulty accessing health facilities and mental health information during this pandemic has also become a problem for bipolar survivors. This community service provides education related to pharmacology, psychological conditions and effective communication with the aim of bipolar survivors having the information provision in carrying out their daily activities stably. Activities are carried out online through WAG media and zoom meetings. Bipolar survivors respond positively and benefit greatly. As many as 64.86% of survivors admitted that they understood the education delivered very well, and as many as 5.4% admitted that they did not understand because education used online media so that it was less focused. Overall, bipolar survivors can realize the importance of taking medication, stabilize emotions and moods and learn to communicate effectively in daily life.

Abstract

Sex education in early childhood is still considered a taboo subject so it has never been taught. Even though children must have enough information in order to protect themselves from sexual harassment and violence. Not only parents, the teacher as the second parent for children has a big role in providing education and information about sexual education. Therefore, as a preventive measure, training is needed to increase the knowledge of teachers about sex education in early childhood and good delivery methods so that it can be easily accepted by children. The method used is lecturing and practice directly with roleplay on how to deliver sex education to children. In addition, roleplay is also done by using puppets. The training participants numbered 22 teachers and employees. After being given training, 77.2% of teachers and staff understood that psychoeducation on the importance of sexual education for children needed to be provided as a preventive measure against the prevention of sexual violence against children. 63.6% of teachers are willing to convey to their students. While the rest claimed to be embarrassed and felt they were not ready to deliver material related to sex education.

Abstract

The high rate of early marriages in Yogyakarta is partly driven by unplanned pregnancies (Kehamilan Tidak Diinginkan/KTD). KTD is influenced by several factors, including a lack of adolescent knowledge about reproductive health and environmental influences that shape attitudes, mindsets, and behaviors regarding adolescent sexuality. This Community Service Programme (PKM) aligns with government initiatives aimed at reducing and preventing early marriages, starting within educational settings. The programme's goal is to establish the Youth Reproductive Health Information Centre (PIKR-R) at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta as a preventive measure against early marriages, while also enhancing students' knowledge of adolescent reproductive health. The focus of this PKM is the implementation of Health Technology Assessment through the establishment of the Youth Reproductive Health Information Centre, with the aim of preventing early marriages at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta. Students from various professional backgrounds, including Midwifery, Psychology, and Communication Science, will be involved in the programme. This initiative supports three out of the eight Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Higher Education Institutions, including enabling lecturers to engage in off-campus activities, providing students with off-campus experiences, and applying research outcomes for community benefit, particularly at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dimensi sosial dalam perilaku homoseksual serta mengkaji efektivitas intervensi psikoedukasi pada mahasiswa di Yogyakarta. Homoseksualitas merupakan fenomena yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor sosial, termasuk lingkungan pergaulan, pola asuh keluarga, serta akses terhadap media dan teknologi. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap partisipan yang merupakan mahasiswa di Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor sosial memainkan peran yang signifikan dalam pembentukan perilaku homoseksual. Lingkungan pergaulan, dukungan sosial, serta penerimaan atau penolakan dari keluarga dan masyarakat berkontribusi terhadap identitas seksual individu. Selain itu, penggunaan aplikasi kencan berbasis digital turut memperkuat jaringan sosial di antara individu homoseksual dan mempengaruhi pola interaksi mereka. Untuk mengatasi stigma serta meningkatkan pemahaman yang lebih luas, intervensi psikoedukasi menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan. Psikoedukasi bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat, mengurangi mispersepsi, serta membantu individu dalam mengelola aspek psikologis dan sosial terkait identitas seksual mereka. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi akademisi, praktisi psikologi, serta pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang strategi edukasi dan intervensi sosial yang lebih inklusif dan berbasis bukti.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and self-esteem with premarital sex behavior among Gen-Z in Yogyakarta. The study involved 100 respondents with the characteristics of being university students aged 17-24 years, residing in Yogyakarta, and having a tendency toward casual sex behavior. The sampling technique used was Accidental Sampling. The data analysis technique applied in this study was multiple linear regression. The results showed that casual sex behavior is significantly influenced by religiosity and self-esteem (p=0.029<0.05). However, religiosity alone does not have a significant relationship with casual sex behavior (p=0.078>0.05), while self-esteem has a significant relationship with casual sex behavior (p=0.012<0.05). Based on these findings, it is crucial to internalize religious values among Gen-Z. Additionally, building healthy self-esteem should be positively directed through character education that emphasizes self-achievement, thereby reducing the tendency toward casual sex behavior among Gen-Z.

Abstract

A person is considered as a university student when they enter a college or university. The hardest phase of being a university student is when they enter their final semester because they start working on their final assignments. As final year students in college, they certainly have pressure. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of social support and religious beliefs of final year students on their psychological well-being. This study employed a quantitative approach with an emphasis on correlation through the distribution of questionnaires. The sample population of this study consisted of final year students, who were usually between 20 and 24 years old. A total of 120 participants were selected for the survey through the nonprobability sampling method. When analyzing the data, the assumption test was used. In this study, the variables of social support, religiosity, and psychological well-being were tested for their hypotheses. The results of the study showed a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The r square value of psychological well-being gave an effective contribution of 61.55%, and the r square value of psychological well-being gave an effective contribution of 9.55% when combined with social support indicated a strong relationship, which means that there is a relationship between social support and psychological well-being in final year students, but there is no relationship between religiosity and psychological well-being in final year students.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada segala aspek kehidupan seperti kesehatan, Pendidikan dan psikologis. Dibutuhkan adanya penyesuaian untuk bisa bertahan dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Perubahan metode pembelajaran menjadi permasalahan utama dalam aspek Pendidikan, dialami juga oleh TK ABA Komplek Masjid Perak. Pembelajaran yang tadinya dilakukan secara offline atau tatap muka harus berubah menjadi sistem pembelajatan jarak jauh. Penyesuaian diri diperlukan oleh guru dan orangtua murid agar system pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif. Akan tetapi, realitanya banyak guru dan orangtua yang kesulitan dalam mendampingi anak dalam kegiatan belajar jarak jauh. Kondisi stress, burnout, kesulitan memahami teknologi menjadi hal yang tidak terhindarkan. Oleh karena itu diberikan program yang bertujuan untuk membantu memberikan edukasi mengenai pandangan baru metode pembelajaran di era new normal, manajemen stress dan emosi untuk mencegah dan menghindari burnout pada wali murid, psychological first aid untuk guru dan wali murid agar saling menguatkan dan saling memberikan pertolongan serta achievement motivation training untuk mengembalikan spirit guru dan wali murid untuk terus bersinergi demi tujuan bersama. Setelah mengikuti proses rangkaian mini workshop tersebut, sebesar 95% peserta dapat memahami materi yang diberikan, merasakan manfaat dan menemukan solusi dari permasalahan yang dialami.
