Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology (ICT) have had a significant impact on the education system, including in Indonesia. Learning can now take place without the constraints of time and space through the use of online platforms, digital classrooms, and the application of cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and the metaverse. However, expanding access to technology has not fully aligned with improving the quality of education. Digital inequality remains a major issue, encompassing limitations in network infrastructure, device availability, and the ability of educators and students to utilize technology optimally. The purpose of this article is to examine how technology is transforming education, considering aspects of access and equity; to examine their interrelationships; and to examine the implications for education. and suggests approaches to make technology-based education more inclusive and equitable. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of managing the madrasah vision in realizing superior educational quality in Islamic Junior High Schools (MTs), including participatory vision formulation, socialization and internalization strategies, implementation in learning, programs, and madrasah culture, as well as evaluation and efforts to strengthen the implementation of the vision. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, collecting data through in-depth interviews with the madrasah principal, teachers, and students, as well as field observations of learning activities and madrasah culture, then analyzed interactively using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the madrasah vision is formulated in a participatory manner so as to foster a sense of ownership and shared commitment; socialization and internalization are carried out continuously through formal forums, leadership role models, habits, and visual media so that the vision is realized in behavior and work culture; implementation of the vision is reflected in learning that integrates Islamic values, programs, and madrasah culture that supports character building and student achievement; evaluation is carried out systematically through academic supervision, evaluation meetings, and teacher performance assessments despite facing challenges such as differences in teacher understanding, limited facilities, and administrative burdens. The implications of the research show that strategic and sustainable vision management plays an important role in improving the quality of Islamic education and can be a practical reference for madrasas in developing educational management that is oriented towards academic excellence while strengthening Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of augmented reality (AR) integrated educational games on student motivation in Islamic Education (PAI) classrooms. The research employed a qualitative case study design, conducted in selected schools in East Java, Indonesia, where AR-based gamified learning had been implemented. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using data condensation, display, and verification techniques to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that AR-integrated educational games significantly enhance intrinsic motivation by providing immersive, interactive, and narrative-driven experiences, while also fostering extrinsic motivation through gamification elements such as points, badges, and challenges. Students demonstrated higher engagement, perseverance, and collaborative behaviors, and educators reported improved understanding and participation in PAI lessons. The study contributes to educational theory by extending frameworks of motivation and digital learning to religious education contexts and offers practical implications for designing interactive, technology-enhanced pedagogy that supports both cognitive and socio-emotional development in students.

Abstract

This research focuses on the analysis of the management of relationships between employees to strengthen professional integration in Madrasas, as well as identify factors that support the creation of harmonious and ethical working relationships. The approach used is a qualitative method with case studies, which is carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of madrasah leaders, teachers, and education staff. The results indicate that effective employee relations management is formed through transparent two-way communication, the implementation of fair work policies, a collaborative culture, and the strengthening of Islamic values in professional ethics. The findings also state that employee integrity increases when madrasahs implement a system of continuous development, proportional supervision, and the provision of rewards for performance and ethical behavior. The implications of this study indicate that strengthening professional integration depends not only on formal policies, but also on the quality of interpersonal relationships, value-oriented leadership, and a work environment that supports ethical behavior. Madrasahs are advised to strengthen employee relations programs as a strategy to improve the quality of human resources in a sustainable manner. This study contributes to Islamic educational management by demonstrating how value-based employee relationship management serves as a strategic mechanism for strengthening professional integrity in madrasah organizations.

Abstract

The development of digital technology necessitates a transformation in learning evaluation systems in schools, including at the junior high school level; however, many schools still rely on manual, paper-based examinations, resulting in limited student experience and insufficient digital readiness to face computer-based assessments. This condition potentially hinders students’ ability to adapt to national computer-based assessments. This Community Service activity aimed to implement Computer-Based Test (CBT)–based examinations to improve students’ digital readiness while enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of learning evaluation in junior high schools. The implementation employed a participatory approach using the Action–Plan–Analyze–Reflect (APAR) strategy, which included needs analysis, planning, action through socialization, simulations, and CBT exam implementation, as well as reflection and evaluation involving teachers and students. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ digital readiness, as indicated by their ability to operate the examination system independently, increased self-confidence, and better understanding of digital device usage. In addition, the implementation of CBT benefited teachers and schools by reducing correction time, minimizing paper usage, and simplifying the management of examination result data. The program activity contributes positively to the digital transformation of learning evaluation and serves as an applicable and sustainable model for CBT implementation in junior high school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of experiential marketing within the boarding school ecosystem and identify the key factors that enhance parental loyalty. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and interpretive conclusion techniques. Findings indicate that experiential marketing is not formally structured but naturally embedded in students’ spiritual, social, and academic experiences. Critical success factors include firsthand student experiences, service quality, effective communication, adherence to religious values, and the positive institutional image conveyed through documentation. These elements contribute to heightened parental satisfaction, trust, engagement, and loyalty, often manifested through recommendations and continued enrollment. The study underscores that a comprehensive, experience-based marketing strategy grounded in religious and educational values is more effective for fostering long-term parental loyalty than traditional marketing approaches, offering a practical framework for boarding schools seeking sustainable relationship-building strategies while enhancing their reputation and perceived educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of virtual tours as a form of transparency in school facilities and their role in building institutional accountability and stakeholder trust. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for facilities and infrastructure, teachers, public relations staff, and parents of students, along with observations of the content of the school's virtual tours. Data analysis was conducted thematically through a process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that virtual tours are interpreted as a practice of openness that displays the condition of school facilities visually, as they are, and easily accessible to the public. Visual transparency serves to reduce information gaps, strengthen perceptions of honesty, and build parental trust from the initial stage of interaction. Furthermore, virtual tours contribute to strengthening school relations with stakeholders and encouraging improvements in internal facility governance. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of using digital technology as an instrument of transparency and accountability in educational management.

Abstract

This study analyzes how word-of-mouth (WOM) is used as an organic marketing strategy in faith-based educational institutions, especially its influence on the perception and decisions of prospective students. The research was conducted by quantitative surveys, collecting data from active students, alumni, and parents through structured questionnaires and supporting documents from institutions. The results show that the positive experiences of students, the credibility of mentors and teachers, and recommendations from senior students and alumni greatly influence the decision of prospective students. Data analysis showed positive experiences contributed the most, followed by the credibility of sources and peer recommendations. This confirms that direct interaction is more influential than formal promotion. Digital media is only an additional channel of information, while interpersonal interaction remains a major factor in the effectiveness of WOM. This study concludes that WOM in faith-based educational institutions runs through social interaction and trusted personal networks, thus becoming an effective and efficient marketing strategy. The implication of this research is that institutional managers can improve their reputation and attract prospective students by creating positive experiences, strengthening the role of mentors and seniors, and documenting original testimonials to optimize organic marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Customer Perceived Value (CPV) in Islamic education management by integrating academic service quality with blessing orientation, highlighting both functional and spiritual dimensions of student experience. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, with data collected through documentation, observation, and semi-structured interviews. Analysis followed systematic stages of data reduction, data display, and verification, using content analysis, discourse analysis, and interpretive approaches to capture both rational and experiential insights. Findings indicate that academic service quality significantly contributes to student satisfaction and comfort, while blessing orientation encompasses meaning, serenity, and depth of the learning experience. The integration of these dimensions produces a holistic CPV, extending beyond conventional functional aspects to include emotional and spiritual elements. The study underscores the importance for Islamic educational institutions to harmonize service quality with spiritual values to enhance the overall educational experience, providing a foundation for designing policies and strategies that address students’ comprehensive needs, fostering meaningful, contextually relevant, and spiritually enriching learning environments.
