Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of the Keramba Apung dance movements in Aro Village, Muara Bulian District, Jambi. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The data consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques with direct observation, interviews, and documentation. while data analysis is carried out through data collection, analyzing and describing and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the Keramba Apung dance is a traditional dance that grows and develops in Aro village. This dance is often used in traditional ceremonies, or welcoming guests. This dance describes the character of the Aro Village community, namely hard workers, helping each other and working together. In the Keramba Apung dance there are several types of movements that have meaning in each movement, namely; such as the Canon Movement as a depiction of the happiness and joy of the community when working together to make floating cages, the Broken movement as a depiction of working together/working together to make floating cages or working together when the fish harvest arrives, meaningful movements in the form of the Hand movement on the chest and gracefully downwards as a depiction of gratitude to Allah SWT, and the Closing Worship movement as a depiction of respect. The Floating Cage Dance is a reflection of the Aro village community carrying out fish cultivation up to harvesting fish in the Floating Cage

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to enhance students’ learning motivation through the use of visual learning media in Social Studies (IPS) subjects for fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of this research is based on the low learning motivation observed from students’ lack of active participation and enthusiasm during the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and fourth-grade students at an elementary school. The results show that the use of visual media such as images, videos, and interactive maps can attract students’ attention, facilitate understanding of the material, and increase their engagement in learning activities. Thus, visual learning media are proven to be effective in improving students’ motivation in Social Studies learning. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for teachers in selecting appropriate learning strategies to create a more enjoyable and meaningful learning process. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the differentiated approach in addressing disparities in students’ understanding of multiplication material in Grade III at SDN 34/I Teratai. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the spiral model of Kemmis and McTaggart, consisting of two cycles, with a total of 23 student participants. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the differentiated approach significantly improved students’ understanding, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 68.20 in the first cycle to 82.60 in the second cycle, and an increase in classical learning completeness from 56% to 80%. This approach effectively accommodated differences in students’ learning styles, interests, and readiness, thus positively impacting learning outcomes. Therefore, implementing a differentiated approach is a viable alternative strategy to create inclusive and effective learning environments.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan peralihan masa kanak-kanak menjadi dewasa yang melibatkan perubahan berbagai aspek seperti biologis, psikologis, dan social-budaya. Menurut WHO remaja adalah perkembangan dari saat timbulnya tanda sekunder hingga tercapainya maturase seksual dan reproduksi, suatu proses sosioeonomi menjadi mandiri. Secara biologis, saat seseorang anak mengalami pubertas dianggap sebagai indikator awal masa remaja. Kesehatan reproduksi hal yang sangat penting untuk pria maupun wanita. Kesehatan reproduksi didefenisikan sebagai suatu kesejahteraan fisik, mental dan sosial secara utuh tidak bebas dari penyakit atau kecacatan dalam semua hal yang berkaitan dengan sistem reproduksi, fungsi dan prosesnya. Banyak masalah akan timbul akibat mengabaikan kesehatan reproduksi, masalah-masalah yang timbul akibat kurangnya pengetahuan terhadap keesehatan reproduksi yaitu kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan (KTD), aborsi, perkawinan dan pernikahan dini, IMS dan HIV/AIDS. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja mengenai Kesehatan Reproduksi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi pada 7 Juni 2024 yang melibatkan 69 responden. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan ceramah/pemberian informasi dan tanya jawab. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah remaja yang menjawab benar pada soal definisi kesehatan reproduksi pre test dan post test sebanyak 69 responden, pertanyaan fungsi testis yang benar 14 responden dan yg salah 55 responden, pertanyaan normalnya siklus menstruasi yang benar 60 responden dan yang salah 9 responden, pertanyaan IMS yang benar 19 responden dan yang salah 50 responden, pertanyaan tentang pengetahuan masalah reproduksi yang benar 69 responden, pertanyaan jenis resiko kesehatan reproduksi yang benar 69 responden. Dan pertanyaan tentang penyakit yang bisa menyerang sistem reproduksi yang menjawab benar 63 dan salah 6 responden
