Abstract

AbstrakTujuannya pengabdian ini adalah untuk mempresentasikan ide dan fakta guna meyakinkan, memberi edukasi, dan memberikan solusi terhadap penulisan artikel sesuai dengan kaedah ilmiah di STT Payakumbuh. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah  dengan mengadakan kegiatan sosialisasi sistematika penulisan artikel ilmiah dan publikasi jurnal, implementasi dan pendampingan proses penulisan artikel ilmiah dan publikasi jurnal dan langkah terakhir melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi untuk melihat hasil kegiatan PkM dan mengetahui kendala-kendala yang ditemui dalam implementasi kegiatan ini. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi ini secara umum berhasil menambah wawasan mahasiswa mengenai proses penulisan dan cara mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase jumlah mahasiswa yang telah menemukan jurnal ilmiah sebagai tempat publikasi artikel ilmiahnya yaitu sebesar 67%, dan persentase mahasiswa yang sudah mulai proses penulisan artikel ilmiah baik dalam bentuk draft (35%) maupun yang telah sesuai dengan template jurnal ilmiah yang dituju (27%). Kata kunci: artikel ilmiah; publikasi; pengabdian masyarakat AbstractThe aim of this service is to present ideas and facts in order to convince, provide education, and provide solutions for writing articles in accordance with scientific principles at STT Payakumbuh. The method implemented in this service activity is by holding systematic socialization activities for writing scientific articles and journal publications, implementing and assisting the process of writing scientific articles and journal publications and the final step is carrying out monitoring and evaluation to see the results of PkM activities and find out the obstacles encountered in the process. implementation of this activity. The evaluation results show that this socialization activity was generally successful in increasing students' insight into the writing process and how to publish scientific articles. Abstract

The term land subsidence denotes the collapse of a building due to compression and deformation of the soil layer beneath the building. Settlement will occur if a layer of soil is loaded, settlement is also influenced by the distribution of soft soil or clay found below the surface on alluvial plains. In this case, the West Sumatra-Riau Jorong Bancah Kenagarian Batu Balang road, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, is one of the areas traversed for the construction of the West Sumatra-Riau cross road. This road is included in the category of primary local roads with a road width of 6 m. Currently, the physical condition of the West Sumatra-Riau Jorong Bancah Kenagarian Batu Balang road, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, has been repaired and some has not been repaired. The road in Bancah includes the Payakumbuh – Tanjung Pati ring road, which is used by the local community and trucks to speed up the road. Based on this, a study was carried out to determine the condition of the soil on the road. This research was conducted by taking samples at the research location and then determining the water content, specific gravity, density and finally the California Bearing Ratio (CBR). The average water content for undisturbed samples was found to be 30.98%. Based on the test results, it was found that the average soil density was 1.10 gr/cm³, so it can be concluded that the soil tested was a type of clay. Furthermore, the results of testing the soil density obtained dry specific gravity, the maximum ɤd is 2.83 t/m and the optimum moisture content is 16%. The density obtained from the results of testing in the Civil Engineering Laboratory of STT Payakumbuh is the average soil density: 2.59 gr/cm³ which is categorized as soft soil. The results of laboratory CBR testing found that the average CBR of soil was 5.27%. This shows that the land is not suitable for use for construction if the minimum standard is 6%.

Abstract

Kota Payakumbuh and Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota are experiencing rapid development in the fields of economy and tourism, attracting many visitors from both local and out of town. The increase in new tourist destinations has increased traffic movement in these areas. This research was conducted to plan flexible pavement using the Bina Marga 2017 method on the Padang Mengatas road section, aiming to improve future transportation comfort and meet the increasing traffic needs, thereby supporting economic and tourism growth in the region.  This study uses a quantitative method, where the initial evaluation determines the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) and soil data (field CBR), essential information for pavement design. The research results show that the flexible pavement layer using the Bina Marga method has a CBR value of 3.1% and an ADT of 5792 vehicles per day. The recommended pavement layers consist of AC-WC with a thickness of 4 cm, AC-BC with a thickness of 6 cm, and a top foundation layer with a thickness of 40 cm.

Abstract

West Sumatra Province is one of the provinces where the City and Regency have natural resources and many tourist objects. These cities and regencies have natural resources and tourist objects that have their respective advantages. Several cities from the many cities in West Sumatra that have a busy tourist attraction are the cities of Bukittinggi and Payakumbuh. In addition to having many tourist attractions, it also has abundant natural resources such as plantations, forestry, and industry. To visit and transport these resources, it must be supported by proper and adequate transportation facilities. Currently, the transportation used to transport goods and passengers uses roads, so it has the potential to cause problems both in terms of facilities and infrastructure and the emergence of congestion due to heavy traffic. Therefore, an alternative mode of transportation is needed to help reduce the burden of the highway, namely the mode of rail transportation for the smooth flow of distribution of goods and services, so it is felt that the Bukittinggi - Payakumbuh railway line is needed. This line is part of the route traversed by the Trans Sumatra Railway. This railway line is built or reactivated in order to reduce congestion that occurs at certain times. In the process of loading the Bukitinggi - Payakumbuh railway line, a methodology for collecting primary and secondary data, problem identification, literature study and analysis is needed. planning data in the form of design speed analysis, rail analysis and bearing analysis to be used. In this paper, the selection of the route, Geometric Planning, Railroad Construction Planning and at Km 15 is carried out. The selection of the route is based on the design speed of the train plan. Geometric planning using the Railways Management and Engineering method. Railroad construction refers to regulation PD-10 PJKA (1986). The results obtained from this paper are the planning of the railroad route as an alternative mode of transportation along ± 30 km from the City of Bukittinggi - Payakumbuh. So that it can be used as a comparison suggestion for the West Sumatra Provincial Government in building railroads in the future.

Abstract

SMKN 2 Kecamatan Guguak merupakan salah sekolah dari sekian banyak sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Sekolah ini berbasis Teknologi sehingga banyak diminati oleh masyarakat, ini dapat dilihat dengan disekolahnya anak- anak mereka di SMKN 2 Kecamatan Guguak . Sebagai salah satu sarana pendidikan yang baru berdiri pada tahun 2011, SMKN 2 Kecamatan Guguak merasakan peningkatan jumlah siswa dan siswinya. Peningkatan jumlah siswa-siswi setiap tahun tentu berdampak pada jumlah guru yang juga meningkat. Sarana bagi tenaga kerja di sekolah baik itu majelis guru dan tata usaha yang awalnya cukup baik menjadi tidak tercukupi, salah satunya ruangan majelis guru. Dengan tidak tercukupi ruangan untuk majelis guru ini maka SMKN 2 Kecamatan Guguak akan membuat bangunan baru berupa gedung ruang majelis guru. Pembangunan gedung ini diawali dengan sebuah perencanaan mulai dari struktur bawah sampai struktur atas Perencanaan pembangunan gedung di SMKN 2 Kec. Guguak ini harus sesuai peraturan yang berlaku yaitu direncanakan dengan berdasarkan standar agar nyaman, aman dan efisien.

Abstract

Simpang Empat Pekan Selasa yang terletak di Kecamatan Sicincin Hilir,Payakumbuh Timur, Kota Payakumbuh, Sumatera Barat. Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilalukan didapatkan beberapapermasalahan di sekitar simpang, di sekitar persimpangan terdapat tokoh, pedagang kaki lima, warung makan dan tempat kegiatan angkutan umum menaikan dan menurunkan penumpang di sekitar persimpangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mencari solusi alternatif untuk meningkatkan kinerja simpang tersebut. . Hasil dari analisis menunjukan cara paling tepat untuk menangani permasalahan yang ada pada Simpang Empat Pekan Selasa yaitu ada pada alternatif ketiga. Dengan cara mempelebar lengan simpang arah Timur dan arah Barat dan pemasangan APILL, diharapkan bahwa tingkat layanan persimpangan tersebut akan meningkat. Dari analisi yang di dapatkan ( c ) 2588,47 ekr/jam, DS 1,19, (T) 33,63 detik/skr, (PA%) = 70% - 90% Pelayanan F.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan kendaraan di Kota Payakumbuh tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan kapasitas jalan, menyebabkan kemacetan di beberapa titik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan Soekarno – Hatta Kota Payakumbuh menggunakan metode PKJI 2023. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei volume lalu lintas, kecepatan kendaraan, dan hambatan samping. Hasil analisis menunjukkan derajat kejenuhan (DS) sebesar 1,13, yang berarti ruas jalan Soekarno – Hatta Kota Payakumbuh mengalami gangguan arus lalu lintas. Hambatan samping juga tergolong tinggi akibat aktivitas parkir dan pedagang kaki lima di bahu jalan. Diperlukan penataan lalu lintas dan pengendalian aktivitas samping untuk meningkatkan kinerja ruas jalan Soekarno – Hatta Kota Payakumbuh
