Kajian Pengembangan Kawasan Agrotechnopark di Sumatera Utara Simanullang, Endang Sari; Siregar, Nina Salmaniah; Kuswardani, Retna Astuti

The proposes of this research are to find out some criteria of agrotechnopark’s area, as a description of a potential region for the agrotechnopark’s development, agrotechnopark area’s management of development and the development strategy of agrotechnopark area’s in North Sumatera. Some of area is used as a sample for this research are integral animal husbandary and the crop of food’s area in the village of Sei Buluh, Serdang Bedagai Regency, integral animal husbandary and the crop of horticulture’s area in the village of Jarang Uda, Karo Regency, integral fresh water fishery cultivation’s area in the village of Selotong, Langkat Rgency, Yayasan Ekosistem Lestari’s Agrotechnopark area, The village of Timbang Lawan, Langkat Regency. The result of the research showing that the some of integral area is reasonable to develop be a agrotechnopark area based on the criteria of technical, economical and social. the development of agrotechnopark’s region must be looking of physical’s potential, finance and develpment’s program is related with agricultural, animal husbandary and fishery’s sector. The development management of agrotechnopark’s area is needed as a planning (product and infrastructure), process and evaluation. The development strategy of agrotechnopark’s area is analyzed by internal analysis (strength and weakness) inside a current agrotechnopark’s area and external analysis (Opportunity and Threats) outside a current agrotechnopark’s area. This research is recommended that integral animal husbandary and the crop of food’s area in the village of Sei Buluh, Serdang Bedagai Regency is a pilot project to be a agrotechnopark’s area in North Sumatera, arranging a master plan to develop arotechnopark’s area in the village of Sei Buluh, potential, infrastructure and accesibilty of region, A good support, cooperation and coordination from the stakeholders are important factors to support the development of agrotechnopark’s area in North Sumatera. Subdistrict Sei Bingei as a place in this study with the reason that the District Sei Bingei Corn is the largest production center and is one of the areas of hybrid maize cultivation area in Langkat.This study uses field observations using a questionnaire and interview research instruments, this kind of research is quantitative deskiptif. The population in this study were all farmers who harvest corn hybrids available in three (3) sample villages in the district Bingei Sei. Data analysis model that is used is multiple regression analysis estimated the Cobb Douglas production function.The results of this study are : In the test can be proved that the simultaneous influence of land area variable (X1), seeds (X2), labor (X3), fertilizer (X4) and herbicides (X5) is very significant to the variable production of hybrid corn. Then on a separate effect test 1) land area (X1) , seeds (X2) and herbicides (X5) significantly affects the production of hybrid corn. 2) labor (X3) and fertilizer (X4) does not significantly affect the production of hybrid corn. Conclusion : The independent variables are: land area (X1), seeds (X2), labor (X3), fertilizer (X4) and pesticides (X5) can explain the dependent variable Y (hybrid maize production) of 72.5%. The rest 27.5% is explained by the factors of production are not included in the regression models of this study. The elasticity of production and scale of 2,113 hybrid corn farming. Coffee agribusiness has various problems, female workers work for a week in Central Aceh Regency as freelance agricultural workers to help household income. Not all female harvesters work all day, there are female harvesters who work from morning to evening and there are those who only work from morning to afternoon. This research aims to analyze the influence of age, number of dependents, working hours, work experience and plant age through productivity on the income of women arabica gayo coffee harvesters. This research was carried out in Lukup Sabun Tengah Village, Kuta Panang District, Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province with the number of samples used in this research totaling 45 samples taken by simple random sampling with the analytical tool used was path analysis. The results of this research show that the variables that have a greater direct influence on the income of women who harvest Gayo Arabica coffee are the number of dependents, working hours, work experience and age of the plant, while the variable age has a greater indirect influence through productivity on the income of women who harvest arabica gayo coffee.

Coffee Shop represents the final stage of the coffee agribusiness subsystem, serving as the producer of processed coffee products for consumers. The Coffee Shop business in Medan has grown and developed in various ways. The intense competition among Coffee Shops in Medan has affected business performance. Some have even ceased operations and eventually closed. This study aims to analyze the influence of managerial competence and supply chain management practices on the business performance of Coffee Shops in Medan. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using questionnaires. Data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares Second Order, as the variables in managerial competence and supply chain management practices are multidimensional. Respondents were selected using the purposive sampling method with a total of 35 respondents, coffee shop managers or business owners in Medan City with several criteria. The results indicate that managerial competence has a significant positive effect on supply chain management practices and a significant positive effect on business performance. Meanwhile, supply chain management practices in the coffee shop business do not have a significant effect on performance. Supply chain management practices have not been effective in reducing coffee raw material costs. Therefore, to improve business performance, business owners can increase sales volume by focusing on implementing marketing mix strategies

PTPN IV Regional 1 Medan experienced several problems related to employee performance, meanwhile there is an imbalance in the number of employees with the existing workload, as well as a suboptimal work system. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of performance assessment, competence, job training and compensation on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable. This study was conducted at the PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regionall Medan with a sample of 252 person with stratified random sampling and the analysis technique in this study using the Plartial Lealst Squalre (PLS) approach. The results showed that the variables of performance, competence, job training, compensation, motivation have a direct effect on employee performance. The variables of performance, competence have an indirect effect on employee performance through the motivation variable while the variables of job training and compensation do not have an indirect effect.
