<![CDATA[Samawa sebagai salah satu suku terbesar di provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, memiliki adat-istiadat yang kaya akan makna dan fungsi sosial budaya. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, saat ini budaya folklore mulai tersisihkan keberadaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri keberadaan folklore dalam masyarakat Sumbawa terutama pada anak-anak sebagai generasi penerus. Sejauh mana anak-anak yang lahir dan tumbuh pada era digital mengetahui atau memahami beberapa tradisi adat-istiadat para leluhur terutama yang terkandung dalam folklore Sumbawa. Diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian mengenai keberadaan folklore di masyarakat Sumbawa khususnya anak-anak pada jaman digital ini, maka akan ada usaha, aksi atau kegiatan berkelanjutan untuk semakin menjaga, memelihara serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menumbuhkan kembali nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat melalui folklore Sumbawa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, para siswa Sekolah Dasar lebih mengenal permainan digital daripada permainan tradisional. Bagi siswa permainan tradisional kurang menarik dari permainan digital. Minat para siswa dalam memainkan permainan tradisional Sumbawa lebih rendah dari permainan digital. Informasi mengenai permainan tradisional lebih sedikit dibandingkan informasi mengenai permainan digital. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik survei dan penyebaran questioner.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was an error analysis of the first semester students of Sumbawa University of Technology. The aims of the research were to find out what types of error that the students committed and what error that they committed the most. The research was a descriptive study, where the population of the research was all first semester students, while the sample was the students of Electrical Engineering Class which consists of 34 students. The technique of data collection was done through giving the students translation tests. The data was analyzed by identifying, classifying, and describing the errors. Based on the result of analysis, it was found that (1) there were four types of error that students committed, they were omission, addition, misordering and misformation error: (2) type of error that students committed the most was omission, and the least type of error that students committed was miordering. More research is needed to clarify why the students committed certain errors such as omission addition etc. in detail. Further research is also recommended for investigating the factors affecting students of committing the errors.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to find out how strong the correlations between : teachers' professional competence and student achievement in chemistry, (b) student motivation and student achievement, and (c) teachers' professional competence together with student motivation and student achievement. The population of this study is 3081 of Senior High Schools students (SMA) enrolled in 8 (eight) schools in Mataram. The Sampling in this study is multistage random sampling, acounting 263 studentsas the sample. The single correlation between the results of professional competence of teachers and student achievement, with t count ( 6234 ) > t table (1.651 ) at 5 % significance level. It means that the professional competence of chemitry teachers has a positive and significant relationship toward student achievement. The results of the second single correlation between student motivation and student achievement at the significant level of 5 % , with t count (3976 ) > t table ( 1.651 ). It mean that students' motivation has a positive and significant relationship toward student achievement. The results of multiple correlation between teachers' professional competence and students motivation toward student achievement, with F count ( 22 . 485 ) > F ( 3,031 ) at the 5 % significance level. It means that the professional competence of chemistry teachers and students motivation collectively have a positive relationship and significantly associated with student achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[In today's diverse educational landscape, there is a growing need to create inclusive language learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of learners. This requires an understanding of various instructional design frameworks and practices that promote inclusivity, such as differentiated instruction and Universal Design for Learning, which can significantly enhance engagement and support for all students, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. To achieve this, educators must implement strategies that recognize and celebrate diversity, fostering a learning atmosphere where all students feel valued and capable of succeeding, thereby enhancing overall learning outcomes and experiences for everyone involved. The purpose of this research is to explore strategies for creating inclusive language learning environments that address the diverse needs of learners. <![CDATA[As we move more and more towards a world that is globalized, it has become increasingly important for people in different cultures to communicate well together; this is particularly urgent in language classes. This research seeks to identify mechanisms through which students from various nations can interact in a way that fosters intercultural understanding. The study incorporates both qualitative data obtained from interviews and an analysis of relevant literature utilizing mixed methods research techniques. The major findings indicate that incorporating intercultural competence into language instruction can greatly enhance learner’s empathy, adaptability and cultural awareness. Such skills are vital while navigating multicultural interactions and ultimately help students become better world citizens. The study emphasizes the need to integrate intercultural communication training in language programs to create more inclusive and peaceful learning spaces.]]>

<![CDATA[Universitas atau perguruan tinggi merupakan lembaga pendidikan tahap paling tinggi yang memeliki kewajiban untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan berhak memberikan gelar akademik kepada lulusannya. Banyak Lulusan SMA sederajat yang tidak dapat melanjutkan pendidikannya ke perguruan tinggi. Salah satu alasannya adalah kurangnya minat. Selain itu kemampuan bahasa Inggris masyrakat Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Sehingga tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masayarakat ini adalah melakukan sosialisasi terkait pentingnya siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke Universitas dan pentingnya menguasai Bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah metode diskusi terbuka yang terbagi kedalam dua sesi; sesi presentasi dan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah ketiga pemateri menyampaikan informasi terkait pentingnya kuliah dan penguasaan Bahasa Inggris sehingga para siswa mendapatkan pengetahuan terkait materi ini. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa akan memiliki pandangan bahwa kuliah dan belajar Bahasa Inggris itu sangat penting sehingga mereka memiliki minat untuk melanjutkan studi dan belajar Bahasa Inggris.]]>

<![CDATA[Literasi keuangan menggambarkan kemampuan seseorang dalam mengelola keuangannya secara bijak hingga tercipta merdeka finansial. Merdeka finansial akan terwujud dengan membiasakan budaya menabung dan investasi sedini mungkin. Namun, remaja sebagai generasi muda di Indonesia khususnya secara umum belum memiliki tingkat literasi yang baik. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada remaja khususnya para siswa-siswi di SMKN 3 Sumbawa Besar tentang pentingnya literasi keuangan. Metode pelaksanaan berupa sosialisasi dan workshop dengan memberikan materi, ceramah, dan diskusi/tanya jawab yang dilakukan secara offline. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu siswa-siswi di SMKN 3 Sumbawa Besar belum cukup memiliki tingkat literasi keuangan yang baik hal ini di tunjukkan dengan beberapa anak yang telah melakukan investasi namun dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini mahasiswa bisa mengetahui mengenai literasi keuangan, trik dan tips investasi yang baik. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mampu memberikan peningkatan pemahaman tentang literasi keuangan sebesar 85% (mengalami kenaikan sebesar 25% dari sebelumnya)]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to understand the degree of correlation between teacher character and student learning motivation in the teaching and learning process of first year students at SMP Negeri 3 Terara. The sample of this study is that of all students of the SMP Terterara, a total of 60 students, and is divided into two groups: 30 students 1a and 30 students 1b. In this study, researchers used non-test technology by using a questionnaire-related instrument to collect data to express data about teachers' characteristics in the teaching process towards the motivation of students to learn. The analysis results showed that the maximum score was 46, the minimum score was 6, the average score was 23 and the standard deviation was 10.46, and 15 students received scores between 24-29. Based on the analysis of the teacher's character and the motivation of the students, r-count was found at 0.337 and the significant rank of 5% (5%) at 30, it was found at 0.361. The results of the teacher's hypothesis character showed that there was no correlation between the teacher's personality and the teaching of students.]]>
