Abstract

Advancements in digital technology have led to significant transformations in the field of education, one of which is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). AI offers the potential to deliver interactive, adaptive, and personalized learning experiences. However, many educators still face considerable challenges in incorporating AI into their teaching practices, primarily due to limited digital literacy and insufficient access to professional development opportunities. This community engagement initiative was designed to empower educators and enhance their competencies in educational technology through a structured training workshop focused on the use of Teachy AI—an AI-based platform specifically developed to support teaching and learning processes. The workshop involved ten participants, comprising both teachers and students. The outcomes of the activity demonstrated a marked improvement in participants’ understanding and practical skills, as evidenced by comparative analysis of pre-test and post-test results. Educators who were previously only familiar with general AI tools such as ChatGPT or CanvaAI gained proficiency in using Teachy AI to develop interactive educational media, streamline administrative tasks, and foster more meaningful engagement with students.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the enhancement of student learning outcomes in Class IV A at SD Negeri Pembina Tolitoli through the implementation of more interactive learning methods. The primary focus of this research lies in comprehending force-related materials. Employing the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model, the research was carried out in the odd semester of the school year, specifically in October. The study involved 34 students as subjects, with particular emphasis on their grasp of force-related materials. The collected data underwent descriptive analysis and was presented in tabular format. The findings indicated a notable improvement in students' comprehension of the material. In the initial cycle, the average score stood at 44.12, while in the subsequent cycle, it surged to 86.99. This outcome affirms that employing an interactive learning approach centered around educational games in IPAS lessons can significantly enhance student understanding in Class IV A at SD Negeri Pembina Tolitoli.

Abstract

Low cultural literacy among the younger generation, particularly in relation to the local wisdom of Tolitoli, which is beginning to deteriorate, calls for innovative contextual and interactive learning models. This study examines the effect of applying a discovery learning model supported by Wayground multimedia on the cultural literacy level of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Nalu. The methodological approach adopted was quasi-experimental, applying a non-equivalent control group design, in which the research participants included 34 students distributed into two categories, namely the experimental group and the control group. The data collection mechanism was carried out through test instruments (including pre-tests and post-tests) supplemented by observations of learning activities. Data analysis revealed a substantial escalation of cultural literacy in the experimental group, which recorded a post-test average of 88.88 and an N-Gain score of 0.66 (moderate criteria); this achievement exceeded that of the control group, which only obtained an average of 70.12 with an N-Gain of 0.019 (low criteria). Furthermore, hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney U test showed a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating rejection of the null hypothesis. Thus, it can be concluded that the integration of the Wayground multimedia-based discovery learning model has a significant effect in boosting students' Tolitoli cultural literacy, while also proving effective in creating a participatory learning climate and offering innovative solutions for cultural value preservation efforts at the elementary school level.

Abstract

In today's era of rapid technological advancement and widespread information flow, there remains a gap in individuals' ability to communicate effectively through digital platforms, particularly among university students both in text and video formats. This indicates that technological progress does not necessarily equate to improved digital public speaking skills. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of content creator-based digital learning on the public speaking abilities of elementary teacher education students at Universitas Madako Tolitoli. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the research involved ten sixth-semester students. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the produced content. The data were then analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that content creator-based learning significantly enhanced students’ average confidence (4.57), fluency (5.00), structured delivery (4.76), and creativity (4.72). This study contributes to the development of digital learning models by demonstrating that the integration of content creator-based approaches effectively improves students' public speaking skills while also identifying technical constraints that must be addressed to optimize the use of technology in higher education.
