Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the philosophy of science to innovation in Islamic education management by highlighting the relationship between theoretical dimensions and institutional practices in responding to the challenges of globalization, digitalization, and value crises. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research examines various national and international publications from 2019–2024 to identify integration patterns between the philosophy of science and managerial policies in Islamic education. The findings reveal that the philosophy of science serves as a conceptual, normative, and reflective foundation that guides Islamic education management to avoid technocratic and pragmatic tendencies. The ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions of the philosophy of science strengthen the formulation of vision, policy, and educational innovation that emphasize moral values, human development, and social benefit. However, the study also identifies a gap between philosophical ideals and managerial practices, which remain dominated by administrative efficiency. Therefore, reflective culture, value-based leadership, and management systems grounded in philosophical reasoning are needed to ensure that decision-making and innovation are ethically and spiritually guided. The results of this study are expected to enrich the theoretical and practical development of Islamic education management based on the philosophy of science and to offer a new direction for Islamic education as a civilizational force founded on knowledge, faith, and righteous action. Abstract

This study discusses the role of strategic management in strengthening the effectiveness and competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions amid globalization and technological disruption. Using a systematic literature review approach, this research examines various national and international studies from 2019–2025 to analyze the stages of strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation applied within the context of Islamic education. The findings reveal that strategic management functions not only as an administrative tool but also as a value-based framework guiding institutional policies to align with the principles of tawhid, justice, and maslahah (public benefit). Internal and external environmental analyses enable institutions to identify opportunities and challenges, while implementation emphasizes visionary leadership, participatory culture, and the wise use of technology. However, the study also highlights several constraints, such as limited managerial literacy, inadequate resources, and the tendency toward formalistic planning practices. Therefore, value-based and sustainability-oriented strategic management is essential for Islamic educational institutions to adapt, innovate, and maintain their relevance in the face of global transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Transformational Islamic Leadership in managing organizational change within Islamic educational institutions by analyzing how core Islamic leadership values—amanah (trustworthiness), justice, shura (consultation), and ukhuwah (brotherhood)—can be integrated with transformational leadership dimensions to support effective organizational transformation. This research employs a systematic literature review method by analyzing 25 peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last five years. The articles were selected based on relevance, quality, and alignment with the themes of Islamic leadership and organizational change, and were examined using thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and conceptual relationships. The findings indicate that integrating Islamic leadership principles with transformational leadership dimensions-idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration-enhances teacher motivation, engagement, and professional development. However, challenges such as limited managerial support and cultural resistance remain barriers to effective implementation. This study contributes by proposing a conceptual framework that synthesizes Islamic leadership values with contemporary transformational leadership theory as a structured guide for organizational change in Islamic education, and it recommends future empirical studies to validate the framework across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of human resources in Islamic education through induction and coaching programs. This research uses a systematic literature review (SLR) approach with PRISMA method by analyzing articles published between 2020–2025. The results indicate that induction programs play a crucial role in helping new teachers adapt to institutional culture and internalize Islamic values. Meanwhile, coaching programs function as continuous professional development processes that enhance pedagogical, professional, social, and spiritual competencies. The study highlights the importance of integrating induction and coaching within a comprehensive human resource development system. This integration contributes to improving teacher professionalism and strengthening Islamic values in educational institutions. This study proposes an integrative conceptual model that combines induction, continuous coaching, evaluation, and value reinforcement in Islamic education.
