Abstract

This study explores the classification of Daisy and Dandelion flowers using a Gaussian Naive Bayes classifier, enhanced by Sobel segmentation and Hu moment feature extraction. The research adopted a quantitative approach, utilizing a balanced dataset of Daisy and Dandelion images. The Sobel operator was employed for image segmentation, accentuating the floral features crucial for classification. Hu moments, known for their invariance to image transformations, were extracted as features. The Gaussian Naive Bayes algorithm was then applied, with its performance evaluated through a 5-fold cross-validation process. The results exhibited moderate accuracy, with the highest recorded at 60%, and precision peaking at 62.60%. These findings indicate a reasonable level of effectiveness in distinguishing between the two species, though variations in performance metrics suggested room for improvement. The study contributes to the field of botanical image classification by demonstrating the potential of integrating image processing techniques with machine learning for flower classification. However, it also highlights the limitations of the Gaussian Naive Bayes approach in handling complex image data. Future research directions include exploring more advanced machine learning algorithms and expanding the feature set to enhance classification accuracy. The practical implications of this research extend to ecological monitoring and agricultural studies, where efficient and accurate plant classification is vital

Abstract

Kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mengubah banyak aspek kehidupan modern, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. AI, yang merujuk pada kemampuan sistem komputer untuk melakukan tugas-tugas yang memerlukan kecerdasan manusia, menawarkan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk masa depan yang lebih digital. Meskipun AI semakin sering digunakan dalam pendidikan, penerapannya masih belum merata di semua institusi pendidikan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pelatihan AI di SMK TI Pratama PGRI Samarinda dirancang untuk memperkenalkan dan mengimplementasikan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini menggunakan alat-alat AI seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI Art Generator, dan Gemini, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam desain grafis, pembuatan video, dan proyek multimedia. Melalui pendekatan yang mencakup teori, praktik, dan evaluasi, pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memastikan pemahaman yang mendalam dan penerapan yang efektif dari AI. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kreativitas siswa, serta mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan dan peluang dalam dunia kerja yang semakin berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Education for Special Needs Children (SNC), particularly those on the autism spectrum, requires unique and tailored teaching methods due to significant differences in their learning processes compared to typical children. The use of appropriate teaching tools and media is essential to help children with autism better understand learning materials, including Chemistry lessons in inclusive schools. One promising approach is the development of learning tools based on computer vision technology. This technology can assist SNC students and teachers in teaching chemical concepts through three-dimensional objects, making the teaching and learning process more effective and engaging. This research aims to integrate real objects with virtual elements in Chemistry learning environments at inclusive schools using augmented reality (AR) and image-tracking technology. The learning process will occur in real-time, enabling students with special needs to interact more intensively with the subject matter. The long-term goal of this research is to evaluate the positive impact of AR on improving SNC students' learning outcomes in Chemistry. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the application of AR technology in Chemistry education at inclusive schools, enhancing inclusivity and effectiveness in the learning process.

Abstract

Restrictions on activities carried out by the government to suppress the spread of COVID-19, which has lasted for two years, have disrupted community activities. This causes people to carry out activities online or online through digital-based platforms. The use of computer technology for the application of information systems and business is very necessary. This research uses the Waterfall Model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development method using data analysis and system design, namely Unified Modeling Language (UML) . This travel information system aims to assist the marketing department in the Tourism Office in conducting tourism promotions and conveying information about travel to consumers or visitors such as tourists. For visitors, this system functions to order travel at the destination by selecting a destination, then the system will take the tour detail page and trip list. Then the trip list section will provide a booking order, after completing the required data input, the system will display a visitor dashboard page to upload proof of payment.

Abstract

One of the most crucial industries in Indonesia for supplying its population with food is agriculture. Numerous factors need to be taken into account in agriculture, particularly the area that will be planted, including soil pH, potassium (K), phosphorus (P), sodium (N), and moisture. Farmers must employ instruments to assist in assessing the soil's condition. There is a concept that can be used to check and monitor soil conditions by utilizing hardware and software that communicates with the internet. This concept is called the Internet of Things. This research applies Internet of Things concept to monitoring soil conditions and control irrigation pumps and provide watering recommendations based on sensor data. The system used in this study consists of a sensor node and a pump node. Based on the test results, the sensor can effectively transmit data to Thingsboard, display the data on a mobile application, and provide watering suggestions. Farmers don't always follow the system's suggestions since they rely on the local weather conditions

Abstract

Dalam era perkembangan teknologi yang cepat dan globalisasi yang semakin luas, pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) menghadapi tantangan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence atau AI) telah muncul sebagai sebuah alat potensial yang dapat merevolusi metode pembelajaran dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Namun, untuk berhasil menerapkan AI dalam kurikulum SD, para pendidik memerlukan pemahaman dan pelatihan yang memadai. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan latar belakang dan implementasi pelatihan penerapan AI dalam konteks pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Daarul Hijrah Al-Amin, Samarinda. Melibatkan para guru sebagai peserta utama, pelatihan ini berfokus pada memperkenalkan konsep dasar AI dan memberikan panduan praktis tentang cara mengintegrasikan teknologi ini ke dalam metode pembelajaran yang sudah ada. Harapannya, pelatihan ini akan membantu para pendidik dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang adaptif, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu siswa, dengan demikian, mendorong perkembangan keterampilan dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi signifikan dalam pembaruan pendekatan pembelajaran di tingkat SD dan menciptakan dasar yang kokoh untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dalam menghadapi tuntutan zaman modern yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan Application Programming Interface (API) WhatsApp berbasis Node.js yang dirancang untuk mendukung kebutuhan sistem di lingkungan perusahaan CV. Britech. Menggunakan metode ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi untuk digunakan dalam pengembangan program. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan solusi komunikasi yang efisien dan efektif melalui platform WhatsApp. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan kemampuan API untuk mengirimkan pesan ke nomor WhatsApp dengan panjang 10 digit. Pengujian Black Box dilakukan untuk memastikan fungsi aplikasi bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan. Fitur utama dari aplikasi ini adalah Single Sender, yang memungkinkan pengiriman pesan teks dan media secara personal. Hasil waktu rata-rata pengiriman pesan personal pada saat kondisi server normal ialah 2.24 detik. Kesuksesan pengembangan API ini menunjukkan potensi besar dalam penerapannya di lingkungan perusahaan CV. Britech, memberikan solusi komunikasi yang inovatif dan dapat diandalkan.
