Abstract

The Banjar ethnic group is one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia. Rich in traditions, cultural values, and customs, the Banjar ethnic group applies a parenting style that emphasizes religious, social, and independence aspects. In this study, the researcher found parenting practices among the Banjar ethnic group that emphasize religious aspects in educating children from an early age and habituation in worship practices. The participants in this study were a family consisting of a father, mother, and three children. This study focused on developing a typology of parenting and the values of ethno-parenting of parents based on the Banjar ethnicity. This was supported by the results of direct interviews, observations, and document studies conducted by researchers on parenting practices among the Banjar ethnic group living in Samarinda. The purpose of this article is to present information related to strengthening the character of early childhood based on the Banjar ethnic parenting pattern. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that refers to the concept of strengthening the character of early childhood based on the Banjar ethnic parenting pattern in the internalization of worship in children from an early age. This study shows that strengthening the character of early childhood is based on daily habits.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using origami paper folding techniques in improving the fine motor skills of 5-6 year old children at Barunawati 3 Kindergarten in Samarinda. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre experimental design, One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The sample used was total sampling, namely all 23 children in group B at Barunawati 3 Samarinda. The results of this study showed that the pretest score 50.10, categorized as developing, and after the treatment, the average posttest score was 75.43, categorized as developing as expected. The n-gain score obtained a value of 0.6 < 0.7 with a percentage of 67.05%. placing it in the moderate category, which means that the use of origami paper folding techniques in improving children’s fine motor skills is quite effective. The n-gain score results show an improvement in fine motor skill after treatment using the origami paper folding technique. Furthermore, the significance value obtained in the hypothesis test was 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the significance value is smaller than α = 0.05. the t-count value obtained was 41.356 and the t-table value obtained was 1.713, so it can be seen that t-count > t-table, namely 41.356 > 1.713.

Abstract

Perilaku prososial pada anak usia dini penting dikembangkan sejak awal karena berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan sosial dan emosional anak di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran permainan tradisional belogo dalam pengembangan perilaku prososial anak usia 5–6 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 15 anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi permainan tradisional belogo mampu menstimulasi perilaku prososial anak, khususnya pada aspek berbagi dan bekerja sama. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional dapat dijadikan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan perilaku prososial anak di lembaga PAUD
