Abstract

This study explores university students' perceptions of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in evaluating discussion activities within Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Using a quantitative cross-sectional survey, data were collected from 112 undergraduate students who had participated in AI-assisted discussion forums across four MOOCs. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze students' perceptions of MOOCs and AI-assisted evaluation, followed by inferential tests to examine differences across demographic variables. Findings indicate that students hold generally positive perceptions of MOOCs, particularly regarding their flexibility, ease of use, and structured learning design. Students also evaluated discussion forums as relevant, understandable, and motivating. Although students showed moderate acceptance of AI involvement in evaluation, ethical concerns remained evident. Inferential analysis showed no significant differences in perceptions across most demographic variables, with the exception of employment status, which influenced perceptions of AI-assisted evaluation. The study highlights the need for ethical, transparent, and pedagogically aligned implementation of AI in online learning assessment

Abstract

Sekumur Village, Sekerak District, Aceh Tamiang Regency is a highly vulnerable area to flash floods and acute environmental sanitation problems. The hydrometeorological disaster at the end of 2025 destroyed almost all residential infrastructure, leaving approximately 300 households in extreme emergency conditions with minimal access to clean water and basic sanitation facilities. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to strengthen disaster mitigation literacy and community sanitation resilience through an intergenerational multi-grade approach involving children, adolescents, parents, and the elderly. Methods applied include Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA)-based participatory education, family hygiene kit distribution, psychosocial intervention through trauma-informed pedagogy, and communal asset governance assistance. The program is implemented over ten months (February–November 2026) through four systematic phases. Expected outcomes include enhanced community knowledge on disaster mitigation and healthy sanitation practices, sustainable formation of clean and safe living behaviors, and the establishment of a replicable intergenerational community education model for other disaster-prone areas

Abstract

Digital literacy is a skill that encompasses the ability to use technology wisely, intelligently, and effectively, and is a crucial component of any learning environment. Digital literacy encompasses not only technological mastery but also the skills to find, evaluate, use, and create information wisely. In the context of education, digital literacy helps improve the quality of interaction and communication in the ever-expanding digital world. On the other hand, there are challenges in disseminating digital information, as well as the prevalence of negative content circulating in society. Therefore, deeper digital literacy skills are needed so that the public, especially students, can access technology safely and productively. As part of efforts to improve digital literacy, the Directorate of Junior High Schools, Kemendikbudristek, provides assistance with Information and Communication Technology devices to support school digitalization. However, several schools, including SDI Khazanah Kebajikan, have not yet received this assistance. Given the importance of technology use in the learning process and the implementation of the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK), the school often has to borrow devices from other schools. The Community Service (PkM) program, conducted by lecturers at Universitas Terbuka, aimed to provide Chromebook devices, along with training and guidance on their use, both during the learning process and during national assessments. The PkM program went well. Participants were enthusiastic and eager to gain knowledge and experience with Chromebook technology, a technology not widely known in schools. The PkM program also improved digital literacy skills and positively impacted the quality of education.

Abstract

Ibu hamil dan balita termasuk dalam kelompok yang rentan terhadap masalah gizi, sehingga perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus untuk mencegah dampak jangka panjang akibat kekurangan gizi. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan gizi ibu hamil dan pemberian makanan tambahan balita adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang asupan gizi dan kesehatan ibu hamil untuk mencegah kejadian stunting dan tumbuh kembang bayi, serta pemberian variasi makanan tambahan kepada balita yang hadir ke posyandu. Penyuluhan gizi ibu hamil dilakukan melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi/tanya jawab dengan bantuan media leaflet. Pemberian makanan tambahan dilakukan secara langsung kepada balita yang hadir dan informasi nilai gizi disampaikan melalui label yang disertakan pada kemasan PMT. Parameter tumbuh kembang bayi dan balita di Posyandu Melati Bahagia yang berhubungan postitif yaitu umur dan berat badan serta umur dan tinggi/panjang bayi dan balita. Hubungan umur, berat badan, dan tinggi badan bayi dan balita di posyandu Melati Bahagia berada di kuadran positif dan memiliki hubungan positif. Kondisi ini menunjukkan parameter tumbuh kembang bayi dan balita di lingkungan posyandu Melati Bahagia berada pada status baik. Pemberian PMT Balita berupa 1 cup macaroni skutel seberat 150g memberikan energi sebesar 188,29 Kcal dengan kandungan nutrisi 7,54% protein, 7,06% lemak, dan 23,66% karbohidrat disambut dengan antusias baik oleh ibu, balita, dan kader posyandu. Penyuluhan gizi ibu hamil di posyandu Melati Bahagia dilakukan secara langsung menggunakan leaflet berisi pesan gizi seimbang, kenaikan berat badan ibu hamil sebagai parameter atau indikator kesehatan dan kesejahteraan ibu hamil dan janin, mendapatkan respon yang antusias dari bumil dan kader posyandu.
