Abstract

The development of information technology offers significant opportunities for businesses to improve operational efficiency, including inventory management. Toko Reza Sukses, a clothing retail business, faces challenges in balancing stock levels with customer demand. This imbalance can lead to overstocking or stockouts, resulting in losses and decreased customer satisfaction. This study aims to apply the Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) method to forecast stock requirements based on historical data. DES was chosen for its ability to capture upward or downward trends in sales data. The system is designed as a web-based application using the PHP programming language to facilitate an effective and efficient forecasting process. The implementation results show that the system is capable of providing more accurate stock estimates, reducing instances of stock shortages and surpluses, and enhancing customer satisfaction through better product availability.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has encouraged business actors, including retail stores such as Wulan Busana, to adopt more effective systems for managing customer relationships. One relevant solution is the implementation of Electronic Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM) to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction. This study aims to design and implement a web-based e-CRM system at Wulan Busana store using the CodeIgniter framework. The method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and literature review. The results of the study show that the e-CRM system helps the store manage customer data, monitor product stock, and carry out marketing activities in a more structured and efficient manner. The implementation of this system has proven to enhance interaction between the store and customers, accelerate responses to customer needs, and simplify promotional and sales evaluation processes. The system also has a positive impact on increasing customer loyalty and improving the store’s operational efficiency.

Abstract

Abstract: The election of the Student Council President is an important process in building a democratic, responsible, and integrity-based leadership culture in the school environment. In addition, through the main discussion in this study aims to optimize the selection process for candidates for Student Council President at SMP Negeri 11 Tanjung Balai through the implementation of a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis) method. The MOORA method is used to normalize values, weight criteria, and calculate optimization values ​​to produce the best alternative ranking. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with school officials, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the MOORA method is able to provide objective and transparent ranking results, where M. Asril Sitorus Pane obtained the highest score of 0.347 (Rank 1), followed by M. Rian with a score of 0.333 (Rank 2). The implementation of this system is expected to be able to provide recommendations for the best candidates regularly and accurately, so that it can support fairer and more accountable decision-making in the next Student Council President election. Abstrak: Pemilihan Ketua OSIS merupakan proses penting dalam membangun budaya kepemimpinan yang demokratis, bertanggung jawab dan berintegritas di lingkungan sekolah. Selain itu, melalui pokok pembahasan pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengoptimalkan proses seleksi calon Ketua OSIS di SMP Negeri 11 Tanjung Balai melalui penerapan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan berbasis metode MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis). Metode MOORA digunakan agar dapat melakukan normalisasi nilai, pembobotan kriteria serta perhitungan nilai optimasi guna menghasilkan peringkat alternatif terbaik. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dengan pihak sekolah serta dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode MOORA mampu memberikan hasil peringkat yang objektif dan transparan, yang dimana M. Asril Sitorus Pane memperoleh nilai tertinggi sebesar 0,347 (Peringkat 1), diikuti oleh M. Rian dengan nilai 0,333 (Peringkat 2). Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan mampu memberikan rekomendasi kandidat terbaik secara sistematis dan akurat, sehingga dapat mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih adil dan akuntabel dalam pemilihan Ketua OSIS selanjutnya. Abstract

Public service is a key indicator in assessing the performance of government agencies, including the police. The Simpang Empat Police Station, as a technical police unit at the subdistrict level, plays a strategic role in providing services to the community. However, there are still complaints regarding long wait times, unfriendly officers, and suboptimal facilities. This study aims to evaluate the quality of public service at the Simpang Empat Police Station using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The assessment was based on six criteria: service accuracy, officer attitude and behavior, service speed, clarity of information, transparency of the service process, and communication with the public. Data was collected through a questionnaire administered to service users. The results indicate that Mediation Services (A07) received the highest preference score of 0.9865, followed by Security and Order Services (A02) at 0.9792 and Guidance and Counseling Services (A05) at 0.9752. The average SAW score was 0.9706 with a satisfaction level of 97.06%, which falls into the “very satisfactory” category, indicating that the SAW method is effective for evaluating the quality of public services.

Abstract

Abstract: Inventory managemet plays a strategic role in supporting the operational sustainability of retail businesses. Errors in determining the quantity of goods procured can lead to inventory buildup or stockouts, which impacts increased storage costs and reduced customer service levels. Attar Jaya store still uses a manual inventory management system, so the restocking recording and decision-making processes are not yet supported by an integrated and data-driven system. This condition has the potential to cause inefficiency in inventory management. This research aims to apply the concept of Electronic Supply Chain Management (E-SCM) integrated with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to determine the optimal order quantity of goods. The EOQ method is used to calculate the most economical order quantity by considering ordering and storage costs, while E-SCM plays a role in integrating inventory management processes digitally. The research methods include observation, interviews, and literature studies, with system design using the Unified Modelign Language (UML). The system was developed using the PHP programming language and the MwSQL database. The research result are expected to help Toko Attar Jaya improve the accuracy of resctocking decision-making, minimize the risk of overstocking and understocking, and increase the efficiency of inventory mangement. Kesalahan dalam menentukan jumah pengadaan barang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan persediaan maupun kekurangan stok yang berdampak pada meningkatnya biaya penyimpanan seerta menurunnya tingkat pelayanan kepada pelanggan. Toko Attar Jaya masih menerapkan sistem pengelolaan persediaan secara manual, sehingga proses pencatatan dan pengambilan keputusan restok belum didukung oleh sistem yang terintegrasi dan berbasis data. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakefisienan dalam pengelolaan stok barang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan konsep Electronic Supply Chain Management (E-SCM) yang terintegrasi dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dalam menentukan jumlah pemesanan barang yang optimal. Metode EOQ digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah pemesanan yang paling ekonomis dengan mempertimbangkan biaya pemesanan dan biaya penyimpanan, sedangkan E-SCM berperan dalam mengintegrasikan proses pengelolaan persediaan secara digital. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur, dengan perancangan sistem menggunakan Unified Modeling Languge (UML). Sistem dikembangkan mengguanakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL. Hasil penelitian diharapkan mampu membantu pihak Toko Attar Jaya dalam meningkatkan akurasi pengambilan keputusan restok, meminimalkan risiko kelebihan dan kekurangan persediaan, serta meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan persediaan. Abstract

Learning interest is one of the important factors that influence student success in following the learning process. However, identification of students' learning interest levels is often done subjectively so that it is less able to describe the student's condition as a whole. This study aims to compare the performance of the K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms in grouping the learning interests of MDTA Qur'an Kisaran students based on academic and non-academic data. The dataset used consists of 119 students with six variables, namely academic grades, attendance percentage, memorization assessment, Qur'an reading ability, moral assessment, and student participation. The clustering process was carried out with three clusters representing the categories of high, medium, and low learning interest. Cluster quality evaluation was carried out using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) and Silhouette Coefficient. The results showed that the K-Means algorithm produced a DBI value of 1.5839 and a Silhouette of 0.2186, while the K-Medoids algorithm produced a DBI value of 1.5950 and a Silhouette of 0.2046. Based on the evaluation results, the K-Means algorithm performed better than K-Medoids in clustering student learning interests. The clustering results can be used to support decision-making in student development, developing learning strategies, and selecting participants for the Inter-Islamic Sports and Arts Week (PORSADIN) in a more objective and data-driven manner.

Abstract

Rice production forecasting plays an important role in supporting future agricultural planning, food supply management, and food security. Accurate yield prediction allows governments and farmers to estimate production outcomes and develop appropriate strategies to maintain stable food availability.This study addresses this gap by comparing four regression-based machine learning models: Random Forest, XGBoost, Support Vector Regression (SVR), and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). All models were trained and tested using the same dataset to ensure a fair evaluation. Model performance was measured using the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that Random Forest achieved the best performance (R² = 0.963), followed by XGBoost (R² = 0.959). In contrast, SVR (R² = -0.064) and ANN (R² = -2.417) performed poorly, indicating limited predictive capability. Overall, these findings suggest that ensemble-based methods, particularly Random Forest and XGBoost, are more reliable and effective for rice production forecasting compared to SVR and ANN.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya Artificial Intelligence (AI), menuntut guru untuk mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, hasil identifikasi awal di SMK Al-Ma’asum Kisaran menunjukkan bahwa sebagian guru masih memiliki keterbatasan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan tools AI untuk mendukung pembelajaran mendalam. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan tools AI sebagai pendukung perancangan pembelajaran, pengembangan media, dan asesmen adaptif. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa kegiatan workshop berbasis praktik langsung yang dilaksanakan secara tatap muka pada Jumat, 21 November 2025, dengan melibatkan 28 guru SMK Al-Ma’asum Kisaran. Workshop memfokuskan pada pemanfaatan ChatGPT untuk penyusunan skenario pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), Canva untuk perancangan media visual, Quizizz dan Kahoot untuk asesmen adaptif, serta PhET Interactive Simulations untuk visualisasi pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pembelajaran mendalam dari 56% menjadi 82%, pemanfaatan AI dari 61% menjadi 87%, serta kemampuan menyusun modul ajar dari 58% menjadi 81%. Tingkat kepuasan peserta mencapai 94%, menunjukkan bahwa workshop efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan mendukung inovasi pembelajaran berbasis AI.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi internet yang semakin pesat, didukung oleh kemudahan akses melalui berbagai perangkat komunikasi, telah mengubah pola dan perilaku konsumen dalam berbelanja menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, melalui pokok pembahasan yang dilakukan pada penelitian kali ini bertujuan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas aktivitas pemasaran yang sebelumnya hanya mengandalkan media sosial, diperlukan penerapan sistem yang lebih terintegrasi agar seluruh proses pemasaran dapat berjalan secara lebih optimal dan terarah. Dan selain itu juga untuk bagian Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian kali ini adalah metode kualitatif, karena penelitian ini ditujuhkan untuk dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai fenomena yang terjadi melalui pengumpulan dan analisis data. Berdasarkan keseluruhan penjabaran dalam penelitian ini maka penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) pada Dita Fashion terbukti mampu meningkatkan efektivitas proses bisnis, terutama dalam pemasaran, pelayanan dan pengelolaan hubungan dengan pelanggan. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan aktivitas promosi serta komunikasi pelanggan ke dalam satu platform sehingga lebih terstruktur, cepat dan mudah dikendalikan. Selain meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan melalui respons yang lebih efisien, E-CRM juga memusatkan data pelanggan, termasuk riwayat transaksi pelanggan. Ketersediaan informasi yang terorganisasi tersebut membantu Dita Fashion memahami kebutuhan pelanggan dengan lebih baik serta mendukung penyusunan strategi bisnis yang lebih tepat, efektif dan berorientasi pada kepuasan pelanggan. Abstract The rapid development of internet technology, supported by easy access via various communication devices, has transformed consumer shopping patterns and behaviors, making them more effective and efficient. Furthermore, the focus of this study aims to enhance the effectiveness of marketing activities—which previously relied solely on social media by implementing a more integrated system so that the entire marketing process can run more optimally and in a targeted manner. Furthermore, the research method employed in this study is a qualitative approach, as this research is intended to gain a deep understanding of the phenomena observed through data collection and analysis. Based on the overall findings of this study, the author concludes that the implementation of Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) at Dita Fashion has proven effective in enhancing business process efficiency, particularly in marketing, customer service, and customer relationship management. This system integrates promotional activities and customer communications into a single platform, making them more structured, faster, and easier to manage. In addition to improving service quality through more efficient responses, E-CRM also centralizes customer data, including customer transaction histories. The availability of this organized information helps Dita Fashion better understand customer needs and supports the development of business strategies that are more precise, effective, and focused on customer satisfaction.
