Abstract

The welfare of honorary teachers in Indonesia is still an issue that requires serious attention, especially in relation to the implementation of social justice values as contained in the Fifth Principle of Pancasila, namely Social Justice for All Indonesian People. One of the main problems faced by honorary teachers is the low salary that is not commensurate with their workload and responsibilities in the world of education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explore the views of educators on the issue of honorary teacher salaries in relation to the principle of social justice. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation in order to gain a deeper understanding of the reality faced by honorary teachers. The number of respondents in this study was five people from educators at SMPN 24 Medan, who were selected based on their relevance and experience in dealing with the issue of honorary teacher welfare. The results of this study are expected to provide a clearer picture of how honorary teachers view their welfare in the context of social justice and the extent to which existing policies reflect the principles of justice mandated by Pancasila.

Abstract

Isu mengenai pemberian hak-hak tertentu bagi narapidana kasus korupsi, seperti remisi, cuti, dan pembebasan bersyarat, hingga kini menimbulkan perdebatan luas di masyarakat. Koruptor, sebagai warga negara yang menjalani hukuman, pada dasarnya masih memiliki hak asasi yang dijamin konstitusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Jumlah responden yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu lima responden. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu mahasiswa lebih sadar akan bahaya korupsi yang merusak keadilan dan kemanusiaan, memberi masukan bagi dosen dan kampus tentang pentingnya pendidikan antikorupsi, serta mendorong lahirnya generasi muda yang kritis, peduli, dan bertanggung jawab terhadap keadilan sosial di masyarakat.
