Abstract

An artificial Neural Network is the processing of information systems on certain characteristics which are artificial representations based on human neural networks. Artificial Neural Networks can be applied to various fields in human life, one of which is the economic field. In this study, the Artificial Neural Network is used to predict the inflation rate using the Backpropagation method. The data used in this study is 144 data, with 100 data as training data and 44 data as test data taken from the Central Statistics Agency of Maluku Province from 2008-2019. The best prediction accuracy level is obtained by using learning rate (a) = 0.1, Target Error = 0.000001, Maximum epoch = 500, network architecture 11-1, and 70% training data sharing scheme and 30% test data. The average absolute error percentage (MAPE) is 85.21%.

Abstract

KIP Kuliah is tuition assistance from the government for high school graduates or equivalent with good academic potential but has economic limitations. In recent years it has been seen that the Indonesian government has always tried to increase the quota for KIP Kuliah recipients. In this study, the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method was applied to create a system for selecting and determining KIP Kuliah recipients. To obtain the best model to be used in the system, the training and testing data are divided into three data distribution schemes, namely 60/40, 70/30, and 80/20. After the training and testing process was carried out using the SVM method with various parameter variations, then the best accuracy rate of 94.59% is obtained in the 80/20 data sharing scheme for the nonlinear SVM model with the RBF kernel. With this system, it is hoped that the KIP Kuliah selection process at the tertiary level can run effectively, efficiently and the results of the determination are more targeted.

Abstract

Abstract

Production planning is an important thing in company management. Every company aims to seek maximum profit in its business activities, so it must be able to utilize its resources as optimally as possible. This study was conducted to determine whether or not any production planning that has been implemented at Istana Roti Hilyah Bakery is optimal. This research aimed to maximize revenue and profit, minimize production costs and raw material usage and optimize production quantities using the sequential linear goal programming method and the simplex modification method with the assistance of LINGO software. Based on the study's results, the revenue increased by IDR 60,000, and the profit increased by IDR 66,679. The minimization value of production costs decreased by IDR 6,679, with the production amount of White Bread as many as 60 pcs, Almond Crumble Bread as many as 45 pcs, Chocolate Crumble Bread as many as 50 pcs, Wheat Bran Bread as many as 55 pcs, Sweet Comb Bread as many as 82 pcs and Jam Comb Bread as many as 84 pcs.

Abstract

To consider student learning outcomes each semester, the school usually selects exemplary students each year. It is done so that the enthusiasm for learning continues to increase. It is hoped that the selection of exemplary students can be a benchmark for students so that they continue to develop and deepen the knowledge they are learning. Some of the problems that occur in every school, especially at Public Junior High School 67 Central Maluku, in determining exemplary students are less effective and still require a lot of time to process and know the results of determining exemplary students. Based on the analysis that had been done, researchers used the Weighted Product method in processing data to produce exemplary students, which aimed to reduce the occurrence of errors in determining exemplary students and made it easier for schools to determine exemplary students. The Weighted Product method is one of the methods used to solve decision-making systems by considering criteria and weights. From the results of calculations using the Weighted Product method and manual calculations, it was found that Yunita D Firnanda was ranked first with the results of calculations using the Weighted Product method of 0.0149912 and manual calculations of 964, for the second rank using the Weighted Product method of 0.014292153 and manual calculations of 957 on behalf of Jordi Parinussa and the third rank on behalf of Sri Meilans Kinyari with the results of calculations using the Weighted Product method of 0.014146707 and manual calculations of 946.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a system that effectively solves construction project management problems using PERT (Project Evaluation and Review Technique) and CPM (Critical Path Method) methods for the ASN flat construction project in Piru City, Maluku Province, Indonesia. In this study, the project activity data was analyzed using the PERT Method, which includes realistic, optimistic, and pessimistic durations; then, it is used to calculate the estimated time of each activity. Meanwhile, CPM was used to determine the critical path of the project. The results showed that project management can be done more accurately and efficiently with these two methods, minimizing the risk of delays. The optimal duration of the project obtained is 49 weeks with a probability value of 98.87% with the critical path obtained, namely A-B-E-F-G-J-K-L-M.

Abstract

This article develops a mathematical model for studying the impact of public awareness and intervention strategies on alcohol consumption patterns. To protect populations from addiction, we are focusing on educational campaigns and interventions. Alcohol consumption cases decrease as the model variable awareness susceptible class is increased through awareness campaigns and interventions. The nonnegativity and boundedness of the model's solutions are analyzed. A qualitative analysis of the model's equilibrium points and the alcohol reproductive number, R0, was performed. Global stability was analyzed for alcohol consumption at the positive equilibrium point via a suitable Lyapunov function. When the alcohol reproductive number (R0) is less than one, the alcohol-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable; otherwise, it is unstable. Although educational campaigns protect vulnerable people, their impact on the model is substantial. The simulation shows that the intervention directly and drastically reduces the target alcoholic population.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze investment risks in Maluku Province using the Mean-Variance approach on the Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) data. The method used in this study is a quantitative analysis of time-series data on PAD from 2015 to 2022. The mean-variance model is used to calculate the rate of return and risk of each PAD component and to construct an efficient frontier as a basis for optimal decision-making. The results show that the regional tax PAD component offers a high rate of return with relatively low risk, potentially making it a stable source of revenue for local governments. These findings provide a basis for optimizing PAD allocation to improve fiscal stability and the sustainability of regional development.
