Abstract

Student creativity is one of the essential competencies that must be developed in 21st-century learning to foster learners who are innovative, adaptive, and capable of solving problems contextually. However, various studies indicate that learning processes in schools remain predominantly teacher-centered and provide limited opportunities for students to optimally develop creative thinking skills. This study aims to analyze effective learning strategies for enhancing student creativity across different educational levels through a library research approach. The review was conducted through stages of planning, data collection, and analysis by examining 20 scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2025 and obtained from academic databases such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and SINTA-indexed journals. The findings reveal that innovative learning strategies, particularly Project Based Learning (PjBL), consistently improve student creativity, as reflected in increased ability to generate diverse ideas, think flexibly, and produce original and meaningful work. In addition to PjBL, STEM/STEAM approaches, technology-based learning, differentiated instruction, and the integration of local wisdom have also been shown to contribute positively to the development of student creativity. Nevertheless, the implementation of these strategies faces challenges, including limited time, inadequate facilities, teacher readiness, and varying levels of student participation. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening teacher competencies through continuous professional development, integrating educational technology, and developing evaluation systems that emphasize creative thinking processes. The results of this review are expected to serve as a reference for educators in designing innovative learning practices that are responsive to the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of creativity in fostering entrepreneurial interest among Grade XI students at SMK Negeri 3 Muna. Creativity is one of the core values of entrepreneurship education, realized through the KIK (Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship) subject with a focus on practical bag-making using traditional Muna woven fabric. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Research subjects consisted of the Vice Principal for Curriculum, KIK subject teachers, and Grade XI Fashion Design students. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The results show that creativity is implemented through four concrete forms: (1) freedom of expression in product design and sewing; (2) creative idea development based on the local potential of Muna woven fabric; (3) creative product packaging with student-branded labels; and (4) creative marketing through bazaars and exhibitions. Creativity systematically applied in KIK learning has proven to foster students' entrepreneurial interest, evidenced by increased enthusiasm, courage in marketing products, self-confidence, and the emergence of desire to start independent businesses.

Abstract

Abstract

he shifting lifestyle of students towards practical and instant snacks often neglects nutritional aspects. This community service activity aims to create an innovative, healthy, and economically valuable banana-based snack called "Popia Pisang" (banana-chocolate spring roll) and to analyze its production process and market potential. The activity was conducted in April 2026 using a structured three-stage method: preparation, production (including banana processing, chocolate melting, filling mixing, wrapping, and storage), and frying/presentation. The results showed that the team successfully produced 30–40 Popia Pisang units in both ready-to-eat and frozen forms. Key technical challenges such as banana oxidation were effectively prevented using lime water, while the addition of cornstarch and cooling of the filling improved dough stability and prevented spring roll wrapper damage. The product achieved a crispy texture with a soft filling, receiving positive preferences from students. Economically, Popia Pisang generates a value-added of approximately 40–50% of production costs, which is competitive compared to other processed banana products (30–45%). The use of local ingredients like Raja banana and premium melted chocolate provided a distinctive taste and melted texture. In conclusion, Popia Pisang has significant potential as a sustainable food business based on local resources, contributing to community empowerment and economic improvement.
