Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate an interactive history learning model using a virtual museum and digital timeline to strengthen students’ understanding of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) in Indonesia. Despite existing history education initiatives, students often struggle with conceptualizing historical events and connecting them to national values. This research addresses the gap by integrating immersive digital tools to enhance engagement, contextual learning, and value comprehension. A quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group was employed. Participants were 120 high school students selected via stratified random sampling. The intervention consisted of a virtual museum tour combined with an interactive digital timeline, covering key historical events related to Indonesia’s cultural diversity. Data collection involved a structured knowledge test, a values comprehension questionnaire, and usability evaluation of the digital tools. The instruments were validated for content and reliability (Cronbach’s α > 0.85). Statistical analysis included paired-sample t-tests and ANOVA to compare learning outcomes between control and experimental groups. Results indicated significant improvement in students’ historical knowledge (mean gain = 22%) and comprehension of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika values (mean gain = 18%) in the experimental group compared to the control group (p < 0.01). Usability assessments showed high satisfaction scores (average 4.5/5), confirming the feasibility of virtual museum integration. The study demonstrates that virtual museum-based learning can effectively enhance historical understanding and national values. Limitations include short intervention duration and limited generalizability to other educational contexts. This research provides evidence for using immersive digital tools in history education to foster value-based learning. Future research may explore longitudinal impacts, scalability, and integration with other curriculum components.

Abstract

Laboratorium virtual (VL) telah berkembang menjadi komponen pedagogis sentral dalam pembelajaran biomekanika olahraga, terutama sebagai respons terhadap keterbatasan aksesibilitas dan biaya sistem penangkapan gerak (MoCap) konvensional. Artikel ini menyajikan tinjauan sistematis dan analitis terhadap perkembangan VL dalam pembelajaran biomekanika (2018–2026), dengan fokus utama pada validitas fisika simulasi gerak manusia. Melalui metode library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif-naratif, studi ini mengidentifikasi empat kategori utama teknologi VL, yaitu estimasi pose berbasis video (markerless), sensor inersia (IMU), pemodelan muskuloskeletal, serta realitas virtual dan tertambah (VR/AR), dan mengevaluasi kesesuaian output kinematika dan kinetikanya dengan prinsip mekanika Newtonian. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa VL yang mengintegrasikan kendala berbasis fisika dalam alur pemrosesan data menghasilkan output yang lebih konsisten dengan data referensi standar dibandingkan pendekatan tanpa kendala fisika. Kerangka kontrol optimal berbasis IMU mampu mendekati akurasi sistem MoCap optik dengan galat RMSE yang signifikan lebih rendah, sementara konfigurasi sensor jarang yang dikombinasikan dengan model muskuloskeletal sagital dapat merekonstruksi gerak secara valid hanya dengan dua hingga tiga sensor. Secara pedagogis, VL terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual melalui visualisasi kausalitas gaya-gerak, memfasilitasi pengulangan eksperimen aman tanpa risiko cedera, dan mendukung implementasi blended learning. Kesenjangan penelitian yang tersisa mencakup evaluasi longitudinal transfer pembelajaran, standardisasi protokol validasi VL lintas platform, dan kajian ekuitas akses.

Abstract

Abstract Purpose: This study aims to examine long-term retention in Biology learning and identify differences in retention between male and female eleventh-grade students.Research Methodology: This study used a descriptive quantitative design involving eleventh-grade students. Data were collected through post-tests and re-tests using multiple-choice questions as the research instrument. The study measured students’ long-term retention in Biology learning. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and an independent sample t-test to determine gender differences in retention scores.Results: The findings showed that most students had low retention levels. A total of 119 students (69.6%) were categorized as low retention, 34 students (20.5%) as moderate retention, and only 18 students (9.9%) as high retention. The t-test analysis produced a significance value of 0.00 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between male and female students. Female students achieved higher average retention scores (57.54%) than male students (50.78%).Conclusions: Biology retention among eleventh-grade students is generally low, and gender significantly influences retention outcomes. Female students tend to retain Biology concepts better than male students.Limitations: This study was limited to eleventh-grade students and applied only a descriptive quantitative approach, limiting broader generalization.Contributions: This study contributes to Biology education by providing empirical evidence regarding long-term retention and gender differences. The findings can help teachers, schools, and researchers develop effective learning strategies to improve students’ conceptual understanding and retention.Keywords: Biology learning, Gender differences, Retention

Abstract

Pengelolaan data pendidikan yang akurat dan terintegrasi menjadi bagian penting dalam mendukung efektivitas administrasi pendidikan di sekolah. Namun, tenaga administrasi sekolah masih mengalami kendala dalam penginputan, validasi, dan sinkronisasi data pada aplikasi Data Pokok Pendidikan (Dapodik). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga administrasi sekolah dalam tata kelola data pendidikan berbasis Dapodik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Learning System (PALS) melalui tahapan sosialisasi dan analisis kebutuhan, pendampingan teknis, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kegiatan dilaksanakan kepada 20 tenaga administrasi sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi peserta dalam pengelolaan data pendidikan berbasis Dapodik. Pemahaman tata kelola Dapodik meningkat dari 35% menjadi 92%, kemampuan validasi dan sinkronisasi data meningkat dari 30% menjadi 90%, kemampuan pengelolaan data GTK meningkat dari 32% menjadi 88%, serta kemampuan penginputan data peserta didik meningkat dari 40% menjadi 93%. Selain itu, peserta mampu melakukan perbaikan data peserta didik, validasi data GTK, sinkronisasi aplikasi Dapodik, serta pembaruan administrasi pendidikan digital secara lebih sistematis. Kegiatan pendampingan juga meningkatkan ketelitian, efektivitas kerja, dan kualitas pengelolaan data pendidikan di sekolah. Dengan demikian, pendampingan tata kelola data pendidikan berbasis Dapodik efektif dalam mendukung penguatan kompetensi administrasi pendidikan digital bagi tenaga administrasi sekolah.

Abstract

Latihan kekuatan inti memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung stabilitas tubuh, kualitas gerak, dan pencegahan cedera pada anak usia pra-remaja. Namun, data kinematik mengenai pelaksanaan latihan inti yang aman dan terukur masih terbatas, terutama sebagai dasar penyusunan protokol latihan yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pendahuluan yang bertujuan menganalisis parameter kinematik gerakan sit-up dan back-up sebagai acuan awal pengembangan baseline biomekanika latihan kekuatan inti bagi anak usia pra-remaja. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan biomekanika berbasis analisis gerak. Subjek penelitian adalah satu atlet anggar nasional laki-laki dewasa sehat yang dipilih sebagai model gerak awal karena memiliki pengalaman latihan dan kemampuan kontrol postural yang baik. Setiap gerakan dilakukan sebanyak lima repetisi. Data diperoleh melalui perekaman gerak, dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak Kinovea, dan diolah secara deskriptif dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gerakan sit-up memiliki sudut lutut yang konsisten pada seluruh repetisi, trunk flexion yang relatif seragam, serta durasi gerakan yang stabil. Pada gerakan back-up, trunk extension menunjukkan variasi yang lebih besar dibandingkan parameter sudut pada sit-up, sedangkan durasi gerakan cenderung lebih singkat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sit-up dan back-up memiliki parameter kinematik yang dapat dijadikan acuan awal dalam pengembangan protokol latihan kekuatan inti. Namun, karena data diperoleh dari satu subjek dewasa terlatih, hasil penelitian ini belum dapat digeneralisasikan sebagai baseline biomekanika anak usia pra-remaja dan masih memerlukan validasi langsung pada populasi sasaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the physical fitness levels of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Biringkaloro based on the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI). Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the research assessed 21 students through five test components: 40-meter sprint, pull-up, 30-second sit-up, vertical jump, and 600-meter run. Data were collected using standardized TKJI procedures for the 10–12 age group and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that the majority of students fall into the “Poor” and “Very Poor” categories, with 52% categorized as Very Poor and only 5% achieving a Good level. The weakest components were cardiovascular endurance (600-meter run) and upper-body strength (pull-up). These findings suggest that students’ physical fitness levels are still below the expected standards and highlight the need for improved physical activity engagement through more varied PE learning strategies, structured training programs, and increased motivation both in and outside of school. Overall, the study underscores the importance of implementing targeted interventions to enhance students’ physical fitness.

Abstract

Arm tremor during the aiming phase of archery can undermine shot precision by disrupting the stability of the bow arm. Understanding whether exercise can reduce tremor is therefore relevant for optimizing performance. This study investigates exercise-related modulation of tremor using a publicly accessible motion dataset containing synchronized accelerometer and EMG recordings. A secondary data analysis was conducted on an open-source dataset originally hosted in Mendeley Data and analyzed through a Kaggle computational workflow. Tremor characteristics were examined through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression-based EMG prediction models. The strongest association was observed between movement sequence—a proxy for exercise progression—and acceleration in the x-axis, showing a moderate negative correlation (r ≈ –0.58), suggesting a decline in tremor amplitude with repeated or continued exercise trials. EMG prediction based on acceleration demonstrated limited accuracy, indicating that neuromuscular activation is only partially explained by kinematic variability. The findings support the premise that structured exercise may enhance upper-limb stability in archery, although limitations inherent to secondary datasets warrant cautious interpretation. This analysis provides quantitative evidence linking exercise to tremor reduction and highlights the potential of open-access biomechanical datasets for advancing sport science research.

Abstract

Peningkatan literasi kebugaran pada anak usia sekolah merupakan kebutuhan penting mengingat rendahnya tingkat aktivitas fisik siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Sailong dengan tujuan mengenalkan konsep kebugaran dasar melalui edukasi dan analisis kemampuan push-up. Sebanyak 20 siswa mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan yang meliputi pengukuran kemampuan push-up selama 30 detik, penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya kebugaran jasmani, serta demonstrasi teknik push-up yang benar. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya memberikan pemahaman mengenai peran kekuatan otot dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, tetapi juga membantu siswa mengetahui kemampuan awal mereka melalui hasil analisis statistik. Rata-rata kemampuan push-up siswa adalah 15 kali, dengan variasi kemampuan yang cukup besar. Data ini menjadi dasar pemberian umpan balik kepada siswa dan guru mengenai pemerataan kondisi kebugaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memahami hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dan kesehatan, serta mampu mempraktikkan teknik push-up dengan lebih tepat setelah sesi demonstrasi. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan literasi kebugaran dan memberikan rekomendasi berbasis data kepada sekolah untuk pengembangan program kebugaran sederhana.
