Abstract

Customer complaints regarding service occur when purchasing beverage products at the Gwalk Es Teh Indonesia Outlet. Several factors influence consumer satisfaction. The research examines how customer satisfaction at the Gwalk Es Teh Indonesia Outlet is impacted by location, pricing, promotion, brand image, and service quality. This research was conducted at the Gwalk Citraland Es Teh Indonesia Outlet, Lakarsantri District, Surabaya City. This research use 100 respondents. The research method used is Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) analysis with the Warp PLS version 8.0 application. There were 100 responders in this research. The Warp PLS version 8.0 application uses the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) analytic study approach. Primary and secondary data are the types of data collected. The study's findings indicate that the variables that significantly impact consumer satisfaction are brand image (p-value = 0.003), price (p-value <0.001), location (p-value <0.014), and service quality (p-value <0.001), provided that the p-value is less than 0.05. However, because the promotion variable has a p-value of more than 0.05, it does not match the standards due to its high p-value of 0.189. The study concludes that promotions at the Gwalk Es Teh Indonesia Outlet have no effect on customer happiness, but brand image, pricing, location, and service quality do. Based on the study's findings, the Gwalk Es Teh Indonesia Outlet can continue to sell its items at the same price and location while maintaining its brand image by responding to client demands and giving them faster, more accurate service to boost customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Art education often receives less attention than other academic fields. Art is an activity that can increase creativity and become a means of self-expression for students. Based on these conditions, students strive to raise awareness of art in elementary school students by holding training on making Batik Ecoprint using Tote Bag media. Ecoprinting is a technique for printing batik motifs using natural materials without chemicals such as leaves, flowers, and plants. Ecoprinting activities are included in art activities because they require creativity in doing so. This training activity is one of the activities of KKN-T Defending the Country of UPN "Veteran" East Java Students. The target of this activity is elementary school students in Grades 5A and 5B of Wachid Hasyim 2 Elementary School Surabaya. The results of the activity showed that 80% of SD Wachid Hasyim students were able to increase creativity, be able to understand the ecoprint process using natural materials and increase students awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. The skills of students who can explore art in eco-print batik design provide business opportunities for students to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit from an early age through their independent works.

Abstract

In the current digital era, information technology plays a crucial role in various aspects of life, including education. One notable application is the digital-based new student registration system, designed to replace manual methods that are time-consuming, error-prone, and inefficient. While digital systems aim to streamline the registration process, their success is heavily reliant on the quality of their User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). Poor UI/UX design can lead to user confusion, frustration, and registration failure. This study evaluates the UI and UX of the new student registration system implemented by UPN Veteran Jawa Timur. Using usability testing and heuristic evaluation, the research identifies challenges in navigation and interface design that hinder user satisfaction. The findings offer actionable recommendations to improve system efficiency and user-friendliness. This study not only contributes to enhancing the registration process for UPN Veteran Jawa Timur but also serves as a reference for similar systems aiming to optimize their UI/UX design.

Abstract

Training on the use of an integrated animal manure crusher and mixer (KOHE) at CV Tiga Lima Jaya aims to improve the efficiency of animal manure management as an ingredient for making organic fertilizer and employee skills. This training includes basic theory of machine operation, practical demonstrations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The method of implementing this community service activity includes preparation, implementation, and evaluation or follow-up. The results of the training showed an improvement in employee knowledge and skills, with an increase in theory evaluation scores from 55% to 90% and 88% and employees were able to operate the machine independently. Operational efficiency improved, KOHE processing time from 5 hours to 2 hours per day, and processing capacity increased by 50%. The training also contributed to the SDGs, specifically in clean and affordable energy (SDG 7), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and industry, innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9). Abstract

In the competitive fishing industry, employee performance is the main factor in maintaining the productivity and competitiveness of the company. PT. HATNI, a fishery product processing company in Tlogo Sadang, Paciran, Lamongan, faces challenges in maintaining the quality and quantity of its production. This study aims to analyze factors that affect employee performance, including work ability, education level, work motivation, leadership style, job satisfaction, work environment, work loyalty, and work discipline. The method used was a quantitative approach with a survey of 60 employees selected using the purposive sampling technique, and data analysis was carried out by multiple regression using SPSS version 25. The results of the study show that all of these factors have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with work loyalty and work discipline as the most dominant variables. In addition, a conducive work environment and an effective leadership style also increase employee motivation and satisfaction. The F test shows that independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, with an Adjusted R Square value of 77.6%, which means that most of the variations in employee performance can be explained by these factors. Therefore, PT. HATNI is advised to improve training programs, improve the motivation system, and create a better work environment to encourage employee productivity in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The classification of cigarettes as a food item by Indonesia’s Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in household expenditure data has sparked controversy, as it contradicts the definition of food according to several other government institutions. This study aims to analyze inter-agency differences in perspective regarding this classification and assess its implications within the context of public policy. A qualitative descriptive method was used, involving document analysis and in-depth interviews with representatives from BPS, the Food Security and Agriculture Office, the Health Office, the Industry and Trade Office, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The findings reveal that BPS relies on the Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (COICOP-18), an international standard issued by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), which categorizes cigarettes under "food and non-alcoholic beverages" for global statistical comparison. However, related agencies firmly oppose this classification, arguing that it conflicts with principles of nutrition, public health, and ethics, and may create public confusion. The divergence of views highlights a lack of policy coordination across sectors and underscores the need for classification systems that better reflect Indonesia’s cultural and social context. This study recommends a reassessment of the use of international standards and stronger inter-agency alignment to ensure classifications serve national health and welfare objectives.

Abstract

This study analyzes the supply and demand of Indonesian robusta coffee over the past 10 years. Multiple linear regression analysis results indicate that on the demand side, only per capita income has a significant influence, while coffee price and population are insignificant. On the supply side, coffee price, harvested area, and productivity variables are found to have significant effects. Classical assumption tests indicate multicollinearity and autocorrelation issues in the model. Overall, the study concludes that robusta coffee supply is strongly influenced by production factors (land and productivity), while demand is more influenced by purchasing power (per capita income) than by price. These findings provide important insights for stakeholders to improve the competitiveness and welfare of Indonesian robusta coffee commodities.
