Abstract

Tanaman mimba merupakan tanaman yang mempunyai potensi sebagai pestisida organik. Kandungan senyawa dalam daun mimba yang berperan penting sebagai pembasmi hama adalah senyawa azadirachtin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi vermikompos berbahan aditif daun mimba dan campurannya terhadap intensitas serangan hama ulat Plutella xylostella dan hasil tanaman kubis krop dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas serangan hama ulat Plutella xylostella terhadap hasil tanaman kubis krop. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah RAK sederhana dengan 10 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan P5 (Vermikompos berbahan aditif campuran daun mimba + daun papaya dengan cara dibenamkan dalam tanah dengan dosis 100 g/polibag dan disemprotkan ke tanaman dengan dosis 100 g/polybag) cenderung memberikan hasil panjang tanaman yang tertinggi dan P7 (Vermikompos berbahan aditif campuran daun mimba + daun paitan dengan cara dibenamkan dalam tanah dengan dosis 100 g/polibag dan disemprotkan ke tanaman dengan dosis 100 g/polibag) cenderung memberikan jumlah daun tertinggi,intensitas serangan hama terendah, bobot segar total biomassa, bobot kering total biomassa dan bobot bernilai ekonomis tertinggi dibanding dengan P0 (Tanpa aplikasi vermikompos).

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to apply a phytoremediation process  by adding fertilizer to increase the biomass of hyperaccumulator plants. This research was an experiment conducted in the Greenhouse and Laboratory of  Faculty of Agriculture,University of Islam Malang which began in September to November 2018. This experiment used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the administration of several Doses of ZA consisting of three levels, namely control (P0), ZA 100 kg N ha-1 (P1), ZA 200 kg N ha-1 (P2) and the second factor of plant species consists of two levels, (puring plants (T1), lidah mertua plants (T2)). The results showed that the calculation of TF of Pb ranged from 0.64 to 0.95. It   is  categorized into phytoremediation phyto-stabilizationcategoy.  The optimal dosage of ZA for puring plants needed was 95 kg N ha-1  with Pb Absorption 0,43875 ppm, whole the optimal dosage of ZA for lidah mertua plants was 116,7 kg N ha-1 with Pb absorbtiohn  0,37383 ppm.  Keywords: ZA fertilizer, Pb accumulation, Codiaeum variegatum L., Sansevieria trifasciata L.

Abstract

Kangkung darat merupakan salah satu varietas kangkung yang sudah dikenal secara luas oleh masyarakat belakangan ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh induksi listrik dan dosis pupuk majemuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil  tanaman kangkung. Penelitian dilakukan  pada bulan November sampai dengan Desember 2017. Metode penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk   Majemuk terdiri dari: 0 g tan-1, 1,5 g tan-1, 2,25 g tan-1 dan 3 g tan-1. Faktor kedua adalah induksi listrik dan tanpa induksi listrik. Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan aplikasi teknik SIPLO dengan pemberian pupuk Majemuk NPK. Namun secara terpisah perlakuan pemberian pupuk berpengaruh nyata dan memberikan hasil terbaik pada dosis 2,25 g tan-1 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tanaman kangkung darat. Kata kunci : kangkung darat , induksi listrik, pupuk Majemuk NPK

Abstract

One of the medicinal plants known to the public is the superior plant (crassocephalum crepidioides). This plant is a shrub that grows wild in the tropics and sub-tropics. The aim of the study was to determine the interaction between the type of manure and the concentration of boron and the effect of manure and boron concentration on the growth and quality of crassocephalum crepidioides. The method used is factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). Factor 1 is manure namely Po = No Fertilizer, P1 = Chicken Manure 50 gr/Polybag, P2 = Goat Manure 50 gr/Polybag and P3 = Cow Manure 50 gr/Polybaq. The recommended dosage used is 20 tons / ha. Factor 2 is giving Boron namely Bo = No Boron, B1 = 50 ppm / L, B2 = 100 ppm / L and B3 = 150 ppm/L. Analysis of variance (Test F) with a level of 5% and a follow-up test with Honest Real Difference (BNJ) level of 5%. The results of the type of cow manure (P3) gave a significant effect on the number of branches (8.11 branches), leaf area (1810.08 cm2), and trimmed dry weight of tanman (9.57 g) for cow manure (P3) and ( 6.27 g) for goat manure (P3). The treatment of giving Boron does not show a significant difference in the growth and yield of juntung plants.

Abstract

Soybean (Glycine max L.Merrill) is one of the main food commodities in Indonesia. The need for soybeans continues to increase in line with the increasing population of Indonesia. To overcome the problem of the gap between soybean production and consumption, efforts can be made to increase soybean production through fertilizers. Apart from fertilizers, mulching is an important component in efforts to increase plant growth and yield. Therefore, liquid organic fertilizer and organic mulch are the right innovations to be applied to support the growth and production of these soybean plants. The research method used was a randomized block design (RBD) with a factorial pattern with 3 replications, which consisted of 2 factors. The first factor was Liquid Organic Fertilizer (P) consisting of 3 levels, namely P1 (cow urine), P2 (goat urine), P3 (rabbit urine). The second factor was kinds of organic mulch with 3 levels, namely M0 (no mulch), M1 (straw mulch), M2 (husk mulch). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of livestock bio urine and organic mulch on the growth and production of soybean (Glycine max. L,Merril). From the results of observations and calculations through analysis of variance, it can be concluded that the ones that give high production are the treatment of Rabbit Urine Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Organic Straw Mulch (P3M1).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of various kinds of Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) (rootone-f, red onion extract and coconut water) with different concentration on growth and shoot/root ratio on rose cuttings. The design used was Randomized Block design (RBD) (R, the treatment (Z1 = PGR rootone-f; Z2 = PGR red onion extract; Z3 = PGR coconut water; K1 = 50%; K2 = 75%; K3 = 100%) plus control. The results showed that the treatment of Z2K3 had an average variable growth in the number of shoots of 2.78, shoot length of 1.39 cm, number of leaves as much as 4.52 strands, root length of 346.97 cm, fresh weight of shoot biomass of 2.33 g, fresh weight of root biomass of 1.19 g, fresh weight of total biomass of 3.51 g, dry weight of total biomass of 1.07 g better than all treatments. For dry shoot biomass weight at Z1K3 treatment of 0.84 g, dry weight of root biomass at Z1K1 treatment was 0.45 g and shoot / root ratio in Z3K3 treatment was 11.34.Key words: Rose, shoot/root ratio, cuttings, PGR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of addition of palm leaf residues (Pistia stratiotes) and new rice straw in various compositions to the growth and yield of second period upland rice plants. The design used was RAK, the treatment (R1 + = 100% kiapu; R2 + = 75% kiapu + 25% rice straw; R3 + = 50% kiapu + 50% rice straw; R4 + = 25% kiapu + 75% rice straw ; R5 + = 100% rice straw) plus NPK treatment and control.f rom the results of the study showed that the mixture of Kiapu compost and rice straw treatment R4 + = 25% kiapu and 75% rice straw had an average variable growth of plant length of 92.33 cm, number of leaves 217.67 pot-1 barley, number of tillers 56.83 pot-1 tillers , and a total root length of 453.60 cm. In the production variable grain weight per hectare which has a good effect on the treatment of R5 + = 100% rice straw is 5.84 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Wheatgrass microgreen is commonly ingested as juice, which is high in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and chlorophyll. The purpose of this study was to see how different liquid fertilizers affected the growth and quality, of wheatgrass microgreen when planted in different types of planting media., The Factorial Randomized Block Design was used in this study, with two factors: fertilizer treatment factor (P1 = Eco Enzyme 15ml/1L, P2 =Liquid Organic Fertilizer 10ml/1L, and P3 = AB mix 800ppm, and planting media factor M1 = cocopiet, M2 = rockwool, and M3 = nonwoven fabric. The results showed that the combination of planting media and liquid fertilizer had a significant effect on the amount of chlorophyll in microgreen wheatgrass, the combination of cocopeat and eco-enzyme growing media produced microgreen wheatgrass with the highest chlorophyll content(28,3). The combination of cocopeat and eco-enzyme treatment resulted the cleanest media without any fungal or bacterial contamination. Consumers' level of preference test for juice with AB mix treatment is more favored by consumers. In general, the results of this study indicate that microgreen wheatgrass grown on cocopeat and eco-enzyme media has the best combination of treatments, so it is prospective to be developed as a model of microgreen cultivation technology that is rich in chlorophyll content and is free from fungi and is potential as a raw material for natural healthy drinks rich in nutrients.

Abstract

Pupuk hayati VP3 yang telah diformulasikan dan dikembangkan pada penelitian sebelumnya mengandung 3 bakteri tanah yaitu bakteri penambat N free, bakteri pelarut fosfat dan bakteri penghasil EPS (eksopolisakarida) untuk pemantap agregat tanah. Aplikasi pupuk hayati VP3 yang diaplikasikan bersama kompos dengan cara diaplikasikan ke tanah. Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 8 perlakuan 3 ulangan dan untuk viabilitas bakteri tanah dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Pemberian pupuk hayati VP3 dan pupuk NPK berpengaruh terhadap viabilitas bakteri tanah. Perlakuan pupuk hayati VP3 bersama kompos + NPK 75% memberikan hasil produksi tanaman buncis terbaik, tetapi tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan aplikasi pupuk hayati VP3 bersama kompos + NPK 50% dan 25%. Namun, pemberian pupuk hayati VP3 bersama kompos saja mempunyai potensi lebih bernilai ekonomis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang dan interval penyiraman yang mampu menekan penyakit antraknosa pada produksi tanaman cabai merah besar. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah RAK, dengan perlakuan yang diuji adalah pupuk kandang kambing dengan dosis 10, 20 dan 30 t.ha-1 dan interval penyiraman 2 hari sekali dan 4 hari sekali. Hasil penelitian dosis pupuk kandang dan interval penyiraman menunjukkan adanya pengaruh interaksi terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 28 dan 35 HST, diameter batang pada umur 35 HST, jumlah daun umur 21 dan 42 HST, luas daun umur 42 HST dan jumlah buah umur 49 HST, tetapi tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap serangan penyakit antraknosa. Dosis pupuk kandang 30 t.ha-1 memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tingkat serangan penyakit antraknosa. Dosis 10 t.ha-1 menghasilkan pertumbuhan diameter batang, jumlah daun, luas daun dan jumlah bunga yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan dosis 30 t.ha-1. Sedangkan Interval penyiraman 2 hari sekali memberikan pertumbuhan diameter batang, jumlah daun, luas daun dan jumlah bunga yang berbeda nyata dengan interval 4 hari sekali
