Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network is a network consisting of several nodes that have dynamic properties. This technology can be used to solve existing problems on routing. An example is SPIN routing. In this research the writer tries to analyze SPIN-BC and SPIN-RL routing, which SPIN-BC and SPIN-RL routing can overcome traffic queue on data delivery and can communicate more than one node (broadcast). The research aimed at determining the performance of SPIN-BC and SPIN-RL. routing anymore and the performance of both routing that were done by testing with some parameters. These parameters were Average Latency, Number Data Packets Forwarded, Tx Power, Number Tx.Frames and Memory Node. In the test that had been done by SPIN-BC and SPIN-RL routing with nodes of 4,8,12,16, and 20 had latency mean value of 0.01856 ms, while the SPIN-RL routing had an average value of 0.83633 ms. The average test of NB Packet Data Forward on SPIN-BC routing was obtained averaged of 1.605 ms and SPIN-RL was obtained average of 7.88917 ms. The average value that was obtained by TX Power on SPIN-BC and SPIN-RL routing testing was 0.63292 mw. Furthermore, the average result that was obtained from Nb Tx Frame parameter on SPIN-BC routing was 1.7 ms, while SPIN-RL was obtained average of 7.9 ms. Then the test of the average result from the memory node was on SPIN-BC 7,56 MB, and SPIN-RL 34,454 MB. Based on the average results above, it can be concluded that SPIN-RL had better performance compared with SPIN-BC, because SPIN-RL can cope with command transmission error that was caused by data loss.

Abstract

This  descriptive-correlational study  was  conducted  to  determine  the level  of  cervical cancer  awareness of 196 participants who were conveniently recruited from selected regions in South Cimahi, Melong, West Java,Indonesia. The survey was conducted on February 2014 for fifteen (15) days using a survey questionnaire for  data  collection.  Descriptive  statistics  such  as  frequency  and  percentage  distribution  were  used  for demographic profile and weighted mean for the assessment of the level of awareness on cervical cancer, and inferential statistics such as Pearson r and chi square for   hypothesis testing. They have moderate awareness on basic information on cervical cancer, foremost are the areas on prevention, anatomy, treatment and common diagnostic examination, but with very little knowledge or partial awareness on the items pertaining to signs and symptoms, etiology and mode of transmission of cervical cancer. The results of chi square and pearson r tests found that the participants’ gender and educational attainment were not significantly correlated with their level of awareness on cervical cancer while, family monthly income was significantly correlated to their level of awareness.  Hence, this study concluded that gender and educational attainment do not necessarily determine a person’s level of awareness or knowledge but family income could contribute to their level of awareness. The study findings formed the basis of designing an information dissemination campaign material on cervical cancer among the residents of South Cimahi, Indonesia. In this regard, an intensive information dissemination campaign  program  on  cervical  cancer  is  recommended  using  the  proposed  campaign  material  designed.Key words: Campaign, cervical cancer, detection, dissemination. Kampanye di Indonesia: Deteksi Dini Kanker Serviks AbstrakPenelitian deskriptif-korelasional ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesadaran 196 peserta yang nyaman direkrut dari daerah tertentu di Cimahi Selatan, Melong, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk profil demografis dan rata-rata untuk penilaian tingkat kesadaran mengenai kanker serviks, dan statistik inferensi seperti Pearson r dan Chi square untuk pengujian hipotesis. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  responden  memiliki kesadaran  moderat  pada  informasi  dasar  tentang kanker serviks, terutama adalah daerah tentang pencegahan, anatomi, pengobatan dan pemeriksaan diagnostik umum,  tetapi  dengan  sedikit  pengetahuan  atau  kesadaran  parsial  pada  item  yang  berkaitan  dengan  tanda- tanda dan gejala, etiologi dan cara penularan kanker serviks. Kemudian ditunjukkan bahwa gender dan pendidikan  pencapaian  peserta  tidak  signifikan  berkorelasi  dengan  tingkat  kesadaran  pada  saat  kanker serviks,  pendapatan  bulanan  keluarga  secara  signifikan berhubungan  dengan  tingkat  kesadaran.  Penelitian ini  menyimpulkan  bahwa  gender  dan  pencapaian  pendidikan  tidak  selalu  menentukan  tingkat  kesadaran seseorang atau pengetahuan tetapi pendapatan keluarga dapat memberikan kontribusi untuk tingkat kesadaran.Kata kunci: Deteksi, disseminasi, kampanye, kanker serviks.

Abstract

Generally Hospital of Muhammadiyah University of Malang is a private institution engaged in the field of health services. In conducting operations, General Hospital of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (RS UMM) utilize technology as supporting power. One of them by using Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS). This system is used by employees in helping to provide information related to inpatient, outpatient, pharmacy, logistics, and nutrition activities. The problem that arises is the lack of management control in conducting operations resulting in lack of validation of information that leads to errors and decreased business performance. such as data entry error, slow system access to certain hours, until loss of patient transaction data. To overcome this, the need for a controlling mechanism related to the management of information services is related to the value of the operations and services achieved by a company or organization in accordance with its intended purpose. From the results of research that has been done, the value of Maturity obtained in the domain Service Operation (SO) is 1.76 or is at level 2, and the Continent Service Improvement (CSI) domain is at Maturity 1.47 or level 1. Parties from home the pain itself, especially the field of IT wants the value of each 3 for the SO or for CSI. So to achieve the desired value, then given some recommendations that can help the IT in making decisions.

Abstract

UPT TIK is a BITS website manager. One that can not be separated from the quality of a website is the user interface. The website interface is very influential on the operational process of website usage. To explore the problems on the BITS website then observations and interviews conducted with related parties of BITS website manager. Based on observations and interviews, a number of problems on the BITS website interface were found. Given the importance of website function for operational activities and based on existing problems, the researcher proposes evaluation of BITS website using heuristic evaluation. Evaluation is done in 2 stages, that is early stage evaluation and final evaluation. In the early evaluation, evaluation was done on the BITS website with a total of 28 problems and the most common problems were found in the H8 category (aesthetic and minimalist design). Based on the results of the early stage evaluation of BITS website was improved. In the final evaluation, the evaluation was done on the result of BITS website improvement with the total problems of 15 were found and the most common problems found in the final evaluation lies in the category of H8 (aesthetic and minimalist design). The average of severity ratings on the final evaluation is on the scale of 2 (minor usability problem), so that sustainable improvement for the BITS website is needed.

Abstract

Pengguna telekomunikasi di Indonesia semakin meningkat, prediksi pengguna telekomunikasi pada tahun 2020 khususnya jaringan 3G sebesar 40% dari pengguna telekomunikasi di Indonesia dan berdasarkan survey penetrasi APJII pada tahun 2014, pengguna internet di Jawa Timur mencapai 31% dan pada wilayah Jawa dan Bali yang menggunakan telepon seluler untuk mengakses internet sebesar 92%. Untuk menunjang jaringan 3G dibutuhkan menara agar dapat menempatkan peralatan dan menjalankan proses telekomunikasi tersebut. Menara di Kota Malang terdapat 205 menara, lebih dari 50% menara yang ada digunakan secara tunggal bahkan terdapat menara yang tidak digunakan atau tidak mempunyai tenant. Peneitian ini, merencanakan lokasi BTS di Kota Malang sesuai dengan peraturan dan kebutuhan yang ada. Penelitian ini berupa rekomendasi lokasi BTS di Kota Malang berdasarkan analisis capacity dan coverage area dengan metode analisis spasial menggunakan software ArcGIS. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa rancangan lokasi BTS dengan jumlah kebutuhan BTS di Kota Malang sebesar 50 BTS. Kata Kunci: 3G, Menara, BTS, ArcGIS

Abstract

Lahat Regency is one of the cities which is prone to geological disasters such as landslides. The landslide is caused by a varied topography such as flat, hilly or mountainous. On January, 23rd 2016, the landslide occurred on the mouth of a railway tunnel in Gunung Gajah Village, Lahat Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of geological factor on the slope stability. The method of research is a survey method based on geographic information systems in the form of interpretation and analysis of the causes and triggers of landslides with a direct approach in the field by doing scoring an overlay technique. The analysis obtained the parameters of landslides such as: slope, lithology/physical properties of rocks, geological structure and land use. The results and conclusions of this research are the landslide potential distribution map in Gunung Gajah Village, Lahat Regency consisting of three classes of landslide vulnerability: low, medium and high and in the focus areas of research entering the high level of vulnerability.

Abstract

Google Apps for Education is a suite of apps with real time synergies and collaborations between students, faculty and staff on campus accessible using PC computers, notebooks, tablets and even smartphones. To be able to be enjoy a range of services from Google Apps For Education, a user is required to have a Google Apps For Education account. In the process of registration of a new Google account, a user will always be asked some data related to the user's identity. As a big company that highly values the privacy of users, Google Apps For Education includes a privacy policy that contains about how Google uses data that has been shared by its user and the reason why Google Apps For Education needs to ask some users' private data. The object of this study is to analyze the behavior of users regarding Google Apps For Education. Data collected from users of Google Apps for Education services by 300 respondents. SEM is used as data analysis method with 10 construct variables. The results of this study indicate that the factors that affect the user's intention to use Google Apps for Education is Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use.

Abstract

The film reviews contain an opinion from a reviewer to describe a movie. Assessment of the content from the film review can be called by sentiment analysis. Sentiment analysis on movie review is divided into 2 parts, which are positive review and negative review. Grouping of sentiment analysis results can be simplified by the k-nearest neighbor classification method where this method will look for documents that have similarity between one to another document. In general, the movie review data contains very long content required by feature selection or pruning feature to reduce dimensions during classification process. In this case, the method of information gain is used to reduce many features during the classification process. This method will predict the presence or absence of term in a document so the term that frequently appear has low information gain value, however for the term that rarely appear or only appear in one category has high information gain value. The term with high information gain value will be able to be used for classification process. The result for using all of term for classification is 92% accuracy where the accuracy value is better than the feature selection due to the elimination of term having low information gain value.

Abstract

Heart disease is one of the non contagious diseases that can lead to death. This disease occurs because of the narrowing of blood vessels that cause impairment of heart function. The death rate that caused by a heart disease is continuing increase and according by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia research, in 2030 it reach 23.3 million peoples. It should be anticipated because the number of cardiologists in Indonesia is still very minimal. This research proposes framework Information Gain selection features with combination K-Nearest Neighbor and Naive Bayes to overcome the problems on the effectiveness and accuracy in classification heart disease. Information Gain algorithm used for reduce variable dimention to get relevant variables. After Information Gain selection features process is completed, the next process is classify numeric atributes with KNN and categorical atributes with Naive Bayes. The results of this research indicate an accuracy of 92.31% when the class distribution testing is balanced using 6 features with value of K=25 and when the class distribution testing is not balanced using 4 features with value of K=35. Based on these results, can be concluded that features selection Information Gain with combination KNN and Naive Bayes algorithm can be used for classifying heart disease.

Abstract

Twitter has a major role in the development of social, communication, psychological, marketing and political aspects. Posts Tweet comments or review indirectly will be a review of the assessment on a product. One of the most sought after products sectors today is beauty and skin care products. They look for products that they share with others, so they have a picture that affects their interest on the opinions of others who delivered via Twitter related results after using the product. Sentiment analysis can help in analyzing and classifying into positive and negative terms of twitter-related opinions about product trends and product quality in the public view. Opinions and comments related to Mustika Ratu's products are the subject of this study, citing the economic growth and the large number of users of Musitka Ratu who are companies in the field of beauty skin and beauty care. The Naive Bayes Classifier method is selected for implementation use, and has a fast performance in training, while the addition of Information is required for the feature selection process by reducing the presence of irrelevant words in the data used. The test is performed with 200 data (100 positive documents, and 100 negative documents) using the thresholds : 0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09, dan 0.10. The results obtained are adjusted for a difference of 4%, the highest average value if no Information Gain (threshold 0) is 70%, while using Information Gain (threshold 0.01) equal to 74%. This is influenced by several factors such as the amount of data and data that spread from data data and documents. The highest accuracy value is obtained at K1 (threshold 0,02), then K5, K6 (threshold 0.01), and K7 (threshold 0,02 and 0,08) with percentage 85%, while at k with threshold at the lowest point 50%.
