Abstract

This research aims to analyze how accounting is implemented and the use of accounting information in MSMEs that take part in the APINDO DKI Jakarta program. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The objects of this research were collected from 11 MSMEs from various types of businesses that participated in the APINDO DKI Jakarta program. Questionnaires were used to collect data used in this research. The results of this research reveal that although accounting is an important decision-making tool in companies, many MSMEs do not utilize the full potential of accounting practices. APINDO DKI Jakarta MSME accounting records have been implemented, although they are still simple. This is caused by several factors, including limited knowledge, resources and access to accounting technology. The financial reports prepared are in the form of profit/loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow reports. MSMEs in the APINDO DKI Jakarta program already use accounting information in the form of operations information, management information and financial information which play an important role in supporting the success and growth of MSMEs.

In addition, human resource development is needed to expand product export penetration abroad. During PKM-I, a directing method was carried out using IoT and MIS for digital product promotion and human resource development as well as evaluating the results of PKM-I that had been implemented. It is hoped that all Troso Jepara Ikat Weaving MSME business players will master the strategic matters of exporting ikat weaving abroad based on MIS and IoT. This is also specifically related to digital marketing as well as human resource development. Indeed, these MSMEs will be able to expand product export penetration abroad in the near future.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Rapid Application Development (RAD) and User-Centered Design (UCD) methods in developing project management information systems for small and medium-scale projects. Using interviews and direct trials by project managers, project team members, and clients, this study aims to understand the extent to which these two methods can improve development efficiency and user satisfaction. The results show that the RAD method accelerates the development process through flexible iterations, while UCD ensures that the resulting system is in accordance with user needs. Project managers reported increased transparency in monitoring progress, team members appreciated features that supported coordination, and clients felt more connected to project developments in real time. The combined implementation of RAD and UCD proved effective in creating a responsive, efficient, and user-friendly project management system to meet the needs of small and medium projects.

Abstract

A web-based information system to match soil fertility and pH with crop types is an innovative agricultural sector solution aiming to increase crop yields. This study focuses on the importance of matching soil conditions for the kinds of crops planted, where soil pH and nutrients are key factors. Many farmers cannot access adequate information about their soil conditions, so planting is often suboptimal. Through this system, farmers can easily access recommendations for crop types that are suitable for their soil conditions, generated from analysis of soil pH and fertility data.

Abstract

In the digital era, fast, stable, and easily accessible internet has become an essential need, particularly in academic settings. Students require reliable connectivity to support teaching and learning activities, research, and access to academic information. However, managing hotspot networks on campus often faces challenges such as user authentication, bandwidth management, monitoring, and security. To address these issues, integrating hotspot network management with Academic Information Systems (AIS) presents a potential solution. This integration allows the hotspot network system to utilize academic data for authentication and authorization, enhancing efficiency, security, and ease of access. Case studies at several universities have shown significant improvements in operational efficiency and user satisfaction following the implementation of this integration. This research aims to develop a hotspot network management system integrated with AIS to support a more modern and integrated educational ecosystem and enhance the quality of internet access services on campus.
