Abstract

Career decisions are one of the critical challenges faced by high school students, especially when they are in the transition period from formal education to the world of work or higher education. However, many students still experience confusion and lack confidence in making career decisions, which has the potential to hinder their future development. This research aims to analyze high school students' career decisions based on three aspects of Cognitive Information Processing theory, namely Knowledge Domain, Decision Making Skill Domain, Executive Processing Domain. This research method is quantitative, the research sample is high school students with a population of 243 people, a sample of 151 people was obtained using the Stratified Random Sampling method. The instrument is a career decision questionnaire. Data is analyzed using percentage and frequency distribution techniques. The results of the research found that in the Knowlege Domain aspect some students were in the high category with 104 students out of the total, this indicates that students have good knowledge about careers, in the Decision Making Skill Domain aspect there were also 99 students in the high category, which means decision making skills. students are good and the Executive Processing Domain aspect is in the high category with 116 students, which means the implementation of student decisions is good. In conclusion, these findings indicate that the majority of students have adequate knowledge, skills and execution abilities in making career decisions. However, there are a number of students who are still in the low category, indicating the need for career guidance interventions to ensure that all students are able to make optimal career decisions and in line with their potential.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of productive zakat, entrepreneurial experience, and information technology on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Small and Medium Industries (SMIs). It focuses on 150 MSME and SMI actors funded by BAZNAS in Yogyakarta City and Sleman Regency, utilizing primary data collected via offline questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis, conducted using SPSS 27 and Microsoft Excel, reveals that productive zakat significantly enhances performance by increasing capital and providing sustainable support. Entrepreneurial experience also positively influences performance, offering practical skills and insights for overcoming business challenges. However, information technology shows no significant effect, attributed to low adoption and limited utilization. To bridge this gap, BAZNAS should implement targeted training on digital tools and e-commerce. The study highlights the need for integrated strategies combining financial, experiential, and technological support to drive sustainable growth among MSMEs and SMIs.

Abstract

Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) and Geographical Information Systems are two spatial soil erosion analysis models because both have a spatial context. As an important factor, soil erodibility is crucial in determining soil erosion, with C-organic significantly influencing the K value. The main aim of this study is to characterize soil erodibility and soil loss based on spatial simulation of the effects of soil C-organic in a GIS environment. Research findings indicated that by simulating within a GIS environment, C-organic can affect soil erodibility and erosion. Low C-organic levels can increase soil erodibility, while high C-organic levels can decrease it. A reduction in C-organic by 10%, 20%, and 30% will increase K by 1.10%, 1.17%, and 1.21%, respectively. Conversely, adding 10%, 20%, and 30% C-organic will decrease K by 1.12%, 1.27%, and 1.46%, respectively. A 10%, 20%, and 30% increase in C-organic can reduce soil loss by 1.2%, 1.3%, and 1.5%, while a reduction in C-organic will increase soil loss by 1.1%, 1.2%, and 1.3%, respectively. A low K value indicates slight erosion, while a high K value suggests high erosion. Continuous C-organic and properly managing vegetation are necessary to maintain and improve soil quality.

Abstract

Graha Mustika Building in Getaspejaten Village, Jati District, Kudus Regency, is usually used for various events including weddings and meetings. However, the rental process of this building is still done manually, starting from checking the schedule to confirming payment, previous research shows that the existing web-based rental system is not fully effective due to several problems, such as an unresponsive display, no features to add equipment, no transaction process security, no vendor registration feature, unclear schedule information. This causes problems such as difficulty finding fast and inaccurate information, misuse of schedules, vendors must come in person if they want to join, This study aims to develop an Android-based rental information system and a website that is integrated with a payment gateway to make it easier for prospective tenants, vendors and building managers to manage the rental process. This system provides features for checking building availability in real-time, submitting rentals, and processing payments with a payment gateway. The data stored in the system includes rental prices, transactions, tenants, schedules, and equipment. The methods used in system design are Extreme Programming and Unified Modeling Language. Through the system created, it is expected to improve the accuracy of recording, transparency, and efficiency in the management of the Graha Mustika Building, thereby reducing the risk of errors that often occur in manual systems.

Abstract

Students in a study program within the faculty are important stakeholders in higher education. The continuity and efficiency of teaching and learning activities depend significantly on the number of students in a study program. The Faculty of Information Technology at Tarumanagara University currently offers two study programs: Informatics Engineering and Information Systems. While Tarumanagara University already has a system for managing student data, it requires further development to remain competitive with other universities, particularly those offering information technology programs. The existing system provides only basic information, such as whether the number of students this year has increased or decreased compared to the previous year. However, it lacks the ability to deliver a comprehensive overview of student data. To address this limitation, a monitoring system is needed to provide more accurate and systematic information. This system will be visualized in the form of a dashboard, offering insights into trends such as the number of students, their school origins, gender distribution, and address/region of origin. The dashboard design is based on the waterfall model of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and is developed using Power BI Desktop.
