Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based traditional clothing rental information system using the First Come First Serve (FCFS) algorithm to enhance rental management efficiency. The background of this research is based on issues in traditional clothing rental management, which is still conducted manually, leading to booking uncertainties and stock management errors. The research methods include interviews, observations, and literature studies, along with system development using the Waterfall model. The results show that the developed system effectively manages rentals by ensuring orders are processed according to arrival time while providing a responsive and user-friendly interface. The conclusion of this study is that the FCFS-based system improves transparency and fairness in traditional clothing rentals while making it easier for customers to place orders.

Abstract

Data security management is crucial for an information system, considering that data that has been transformed into information can be accessed by any user. Data security management protects information assets in alignment with privacy and confidentiality regulations as well as business needs. Poor data security management can negatively impact ongoing management processes.  Therefore, data management, particularly data security, is necessary as a preventive measure and a solution to data-related issues and their security. Several frameworks can be applied to manage data security, one of which is DAMA-DMBOK. By utilizing two knowledge areas within the DAMA-DMBOK framework, namely Data Governance and Data Security Management, for an academic information system, a proposed recommendation for governance and data security management design can be formulated for the Academic Information System (SIA) of Universitas Kuningan (SIKADUKU).

Abstract

The development of information technology in the era of globalization has become an integral part of human life, especially in providing fast, accurate, and easily accessible information. BeluRegency, located in East Nusa Tenggara Province, has challenges in managing air resources, especially related to agricultural irrigation. Inaccurate and incomplete irrigation data hinders the efficiency of water discharge distribution, which is very important or most of the population who make a living in the agricultural sector. This research aims to apply the Geographic Information System (GIS) in the inventory of distributed data, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of air resource management. By using GIS, it is hoped that accurate mapping of the location of irrigation canals can be carried out, making it easier to make decisions regarding the distribution of water discharge. The results of this research are expected to increase agricultural productivity, maintain environmental curiosity, and improve the welfare of farmers and local communities in Belu Regency. This research is entitled Irrigation Data Inventory Using Web-Based Geographic Information System to Support the Water Discharge Distribution in Belu Regency".

Abstract

Salon Michelle, as one of the wedding organizer service providers, is experiencing an increase in demand for wedding organizer services. The process of ordering wedding organizer services at Salon Michelle, which is still done manually, presents various challenges, such as the length of time it takes to make an order, difficulties in managing schedules, coordinating with clients, and the risk of communication errors with potential customers. Therefore, to make it easier for prospective brides and grooms to choose wedding packages available at Salon Michelle, an information system for wedding package providers is needed that provides complete information regarding the wedding packages offered by Salon Michelle vendors. By using this information system, it is hoped that customers can adjust their needs and desires to the availability of wedding facilities on offer, as well as see in detail the prices and facilities that can be obtained from Salon Michelle vendors, so that it will be very helpful in organizing wedding receptions.

Abstract

Pada dunia pertanian terutama pertanian padi, banyak ditemukan berbagai hambatan yang menyebabkan petani mengalami gagal panen.. Chatbot padiku hadir dengan fiturnya yang memberi kemudahan. Fitur yang disediakan oleh chatbot yakni 19 macam informasi tentang hama padi dan penyakit padi. Jenis informasi yang disediakan untuk hama padi berupa ciri fisik, gejala, cara pembasmian, cara berkembangbiak, kemunculan, dan gambar. Chatbot berbasis pattern matching ini didesain untuk memudahkan pengguna mengakses chatbot dengan sistemnya yang menyerupai pilihan ganda. Uji performansi website menggunakan Jmeter menunjukkan kinerja server dapat bekerja dengan baik dengan skala pengguna ≤ 300. Serta pengujian performansi menggunakan GTmetrix yang memiliki hasil performansi bagus dengan keseluruhan nilai B dan dibutuhkan waktu 3.8s untuk memunculkan konten website sepenuhnya, untuk pengujian website moda kuesioner didapatkan hasil yang memuaskan dengan nilai rata-rata vote 70%-90%, responden setuju bahwa website dan chatbot berjalan sesuai yang diharapkan. Pengujian sukses juga terjadi pada pengujian akuran sistem yang memiliki hasil sebenarnya 100% sama dengan hasil prediksi.

Abstract

Modernisasi administrasi publik menjadi kebutuhan mendesak di tengah meningkatnya tuntutan terhadap layanan publik yang cepat, transparan, dan efisien. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pendekatan terintegrasi antara Teknik Informatika dan Sistem Informasi untuk menghadapi tantangan birokrasi tradisional, seperti fragmentasi data dan kurangnya efisiensi. Teknik Informatika berperan dalam pengembangan infrastruktur teknologi, sementara Sistem Informasi memfasilitasi pengelolaan data secara terpusat dan mempercepat pengambilan keputusan. Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner, melibatkan responden dari kalangan pemerintah, masyarakat, dan pengembang sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi ini meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, mengurangi biaya operasional, dan memperbaiki transparansi. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan kurangnya pelatihan pengguna masih menjadi hambatan. Dengan rekomendasi strategis untuk meningkatkan pelatihan dan infrastruktur, penelitian ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan administrasi publik yang lebih responsif dan adaptif terhadap era digital.

Abstract

MSMEs are critical to economic growth but often face challenges that limit their performance. The research examines the influence of information technology, Total Quality Management (TQM), training, rewards, and level of education on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padang. The research population comprised all MSME business actors in Padang, totaling 42,452 business units. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula; therefore, the number of samples in this study was 397 units. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis will be performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart-PLS software. The research results show that information technology, training, and education levels positively and significantly influence the MSME's performance. However, TQM and reward do not have a significant influence on MSMEs in Padang. This research recommends that MSMEs utilize and use information technology in their operations. Then, MSME business people must include employees in functional training and select employees with a higher level of education. This research contributes to understanding how Information Technology, Total Quality Management, Training, Reward, and Education collectively impact MSMEs' performance, providing valuable insights for improving their operational efficiency and growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of overconfidence, herding, availability bias, risk aversion, and personal information on stock investment decisions among students in the city of Batam. The objects in this study are students in the city of Batam who invest in stocks. The variables used in this study consisted of independent variables, namely overconfidence, herding, availability bias, risk aversion, and personal information. While the dependent variable is the investment decision. In this study, the authors took 198 respondents' data using a questionnaire to be analyzed using the SPSS version of 24.0 software application. The results of the data in this study indicate overconfidence, risk aversion and personal ?nformation have a significant positive effect on investment decisions, while herding and availability bias do not significantly affect investment decisions. This shows that students as investors already have sufficient knowledge when investing, they are very confident in investing, and are more careful in managing the risks that arise, and more careful in finding relevant information. Abstract

The issue of subpar civil servant performance exists in Cipayung District, Depok Municipality. The study attempts to ascertain and evaluate the partial and simultaneous effects of work discipline, competency, and management information systems on the performance of civil servants in Cipayung District, Depok Municipality. This study employs an explanatory approach to quantitative research. There were 186 district and sub-district government officials in the research population; 123 samples were obtained using Stephen and Willian's sample table (standard error 5%). Multiple linear regression analysis techniques are used in the data analysis method. Research findings: (1) The Management Information System has a 55.20% partly favorable and significant influence on the performance of civil servants in Cipayung District, Depok Municipality. (2) There is a notable and perhaps beneficial influence.

Abstract

Factors causing environmental damage/disaster include internal and external damage. By maximizing the transportation system, we are able to address the social issues optimally so that we provide more positive impacts on public health, environmental health, and urban beauty. Factors related to distribution can make decisions about the routes of transportation. The purpose of this research is to optimize the route of truck transportation using the Hill Climbing Algorithm in the District of Medan Denai from one point to another towards the construction site of the Sentairai. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the route of truck transport to the top with a graphical information system using Ailgorithm Hill Climbing, the route of truck transport to the top with a graphical information system using Ailgorithm Hill Climbing in the District of Medan Aireai with the shortest route for transport to the top is through a route with a total distance of 32.25 km with a travel time of 85 minutess and a total time of 8 hours 20 minutess, namely through: Start Point (Kantor Camat Medan Area) - Pandau Hulu II Village - Kotamatsum II Village - Pasar Merah Timur Village - Kotamatsum III Village - Tegal Sari III Sub-district – Tegal Sari I Sub-district – Sei Rengas Permata Sub-district – Tegal Sari II Sub-district – Sei Rengas II Sub-district – Sukaramai II Sub-district – Sukaramai I Sub-district – Kotamatsum I Sub-district and TPA.
