Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of work-life balance and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). Specifically, the study investigates: (1) the individual impact of work-life balance on employee performance, (2) the individual impact of job satisfaction on employee performance, and (3) the combined impact of work-life balance and job satisfaction on employee performance. Utilizing a quantitative method, the research draws on both primary and secondary data collected from a population of 70 administrative staff members. Data were gathered through questionnaires and observations, employing a saturated sampling technique. Validity and reliability tests confirmed that all items were valid and reliable, with the data also meeting assumptions of normality and the absence of multicollinearity. The findings reveal that work-life balance alone does not significantly affect employee performance, whereas job satisfaction has a significant individual effect. However, when combined, work-life balance and job satisfaction exert a significant and positive influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The Regional Government Information System (SIPD) plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of financial reporting in the public sector by ensuring transparency and accountability. This study aims to identify the factors influencing SIPD implementation, explore its role in improving financial reporting quality, and examine measurement methods for related variables. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on articles published between 2014 and 2024. The review results indicate that SIPD implementation is influenced by technological readiness, policy support, and human resource competencies. SIPD has been proven to enhance efficiency and accuracy in regional government financial reporting. However, challenges such as resistance to change and digital infrastructure constraints persist. This study recommends further research on integrating SIPD with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain to improve its effectiveness.

Abstract

The role of information technology in supporting the business world will make it easier for business people to run their business. One of the business fields that can implement information technology is restaurants. With digital devices, restaurant managers can more efficiently record table reservations and food menu orders. On the consumer side, it is also easier because they can make reservations and food menus from anywhere via a computer or smartphone device connected to the internet. In this research, a web-based application will be created that is used as a means to record table reservations and order food menus with the case studies at Wisata Kampung Kemiri Jember. The design and creation of the website at Wisata Kampung Kemiri Jember uses the requirement prototyping software development method. For the testing process, the Black Box Testing method is used to test all features on the website that have been running according to their functions. To test the user experience, the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method was used by distributing questionnaires. Through the implementation of this website-based table reservation and food ordering system, it is hoped that work efficiency can be improved to optimize customer satisfaction

Abstract

This article examines the digitalization of human resources (HR) at the Office National d’Identification de la Population (ONIP) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), emphasizing the pivotal role of information systems (IS) urbanization and strategic alignment as key levers. Using a qualitative methodology that combines semi-structured interviews with 15 stakeholders (HR managers, IT specialists, directors) and process analysis, we demonstrate the following outcomes: 40% reduction in HR processing time (from 7 to 4.2 days), 30% decrease in data entry errors through administrative task automation, 29% optimization of annual IT expenditures (from 120,000 to 85,000 USD), Increase in employee satisfaction scores from 58% to 82% (based on an internal survey of 200 employees). These results, derived from the implementation of a secure and modular HR information system (HRIS), underscore the efficacy of a structured approach in a fragile context. The article contributes to the literature on HR digital transformation in the African public sector by proposing a reproducible framework grounded in IS interoperability and collaborative governance.

Abstract

Tanah Merah Village is one of the Fourfinger threadfin fish-producing areas. Most of the population works as fishermen as the basis of their economic income. Fourfinger threadfin fish is the main fishery commodity and has high economic value, thus encouraging the sustainable use of Fourfinger threadfin resources. This research aims to analyze the product flow, information, and finance mechanism in the supply chain of fourfinger threadfin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) from Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The method used was in-depth interviews with a qualitative approach. The research results show that the flow of fourfinger threadfin fish products is spread across four provinces on the island of Sumatra. The payment systems used are cash, bank transfers, and loans. The selling price of delighted fish at the fisherman level is IDR 45.000/kg, and at the end consumer IDR 55.000-70.000/kg. Five Senangin fish supply chain entities, namely fishermen, fishermen, collectors, retailers, and final consumers form 3 chain patterns. The longest chain involves five entities and the shortest three entities. The farmer's share value for fishermen is relatively high at over 60%, with the highest value in chain three at 81.8%, indicating the most efficient chain. The product, financial, and information flow mechanisms have been running well. However, coordination and information integration still need to be improved to optimize the supply chain for fourfinger threadfin fish Tanah Merah Village
