Abstract

The competence of educational staff in information technology is essential to finishing a job at a university. Good information technology competence can help them complete the work faster and more effectively. This study investigates the influence of communication competence and education level on work productivity at Sebelas Maret University. Two hundred ten respondents were involved, consisting of 125 male and 85 female staff. Pearson correlation is used for validation, and Cronbach's alpha is used for reliability tests. All items are valid and reliable (α =.05.) The data were analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The result shows that simultaneously, the two independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable (F = 9.63, p <.05). Information technology competence has a significant effect on work productivity (t = 4.64, p <.05). Education level has a significant effect on work productivity (t = 2.48, p <.05). Generally, it can be concluded that the information technology competence and educational level of staff affect work productivity.

Abstract

Financial statements are a collection of information that the company conveys to stakeholders. Relevant information can change the actions of users of information. This study analyzes the responses of shareholders and the public to social responsibility information and artificial accounting actions of companies. The data used represents manufacturing companies in Indonesia that are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period. The study tested 64 firm panel data using Smart PLS software. Of the five hypothetical suggestions, two suggestions were rejected, and three were accepted. Corporate social responsibilities is considered as information that contains a positive value. It is different from income smoothing management actions that are not responded to by stakeholders. Firm value also has a positive influence on company growth. These results have implications for strengthening the theory of CSR benefits and encouraging companies to present broader information.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between health information quality management and patient safety performance, identifying significant factors influencing safety outcomes. A quantitative approach was used, with the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSPSC) translated, culturally tailored, and validated for the local setting. The intervention consisted of comprehensive training in information quality, workflow alignment, and the implementation of standardized documentation procedures over 6 weeks. The study was conducted at Awet Muda Narmada Regional General Hospital in West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, with a sample size of 92 healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and health information managers. The results demonstrated a 46-point improvement (from 52 to 98 on a 100-point Likert-type scale) in the dimension of "Management Support for Patient Safety," with an average gain of 46 points after the intervention.  A paired t-test found a significant difference between pre- and post-intervention scores (p = 0.001), and linear regression confirmed a strong positive relationship between information quality and patient safety (y = 0.86x + 24.15), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.496. The study demonstrates that improving health information quality is associated with better patient safety outcomes. Practical implications include the need to incorporate information technology training, create non-punitive incident reporting systems, and optimize Electronic Health Records (EHR) to foster a stronger patient safety culture in hospital settings.

Abstract

There are still many companies in Indonesia that do not pay attention to environmental performance. Environmental disclosure performance is currently mandatory disclosure, so it is mandatory for go public companies to disclose their environmental performance as a manifestation of the company's responsibility for the activities it carries out. This study aims to determine the effect of environmental costs and environmental information disclosure on environmental performance in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015-2019. The research sampling technique used purposive sampling method with data analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling method. The software used is partial least square with the Warp-PLS analysis tool. The results of testing the first hypothesis show that environmental costs have a positive and insignificant effect on environmental performance, while the second hypothesis shows that environmental information disclosure has a positive and significant effect on environmental performance. This research is important to do as a study material for the manufacturing industry related to environmental performance

Abstract

Tourism industry is a large field including hotel business. Hotel business is classified by its stars from non-star hotel to five-star hotel that has their own regulation to grow their own business. Hotel is divided by a lot of departments such as front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, accounting, sales and marketing, human resources, kitchen, and engineering. To integrate each department, the business needs information system to build connection one and another department. According to case study in Melia Purosani Hotel Yogyakarta, the business is using application and form business intelligence. Melia Purosani Hotel Yogyakarta is one of five-star international chain hotel in Yogyakarta that use system named Oracle Hospitality: Opera which is integrating one and another department. Opera creates convenience and ease the teamwork of each department, therefore the hotel could make guest satisfaction. Business performance management, data governance, business intelligence program, data architecture, data warehouse and lacking, also data integration is provided by Opera, therefore Melia Purosani Hotel Yogyakarta is belong to business intelligence. Business intelligence is required for big and professional business. Hence, a lot of data is protected and integrated one another.

Abstract

Abstract The implementation of technology is a driving force for performance in both the private and government sectors. Several researchers have examined various factors that influence technology implementation with mixed results. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of user involvement, education & training programs, and internal control sistems on the performance of the village financial sistem (Siskeudes). The respondents of this study were 110 village officials who used the village financial sistem. This study used the purposive sampling technique to obtain data from 17 sub-districts in Bantul Regency. Analysis of data validity using Pearson correlation and data reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha. The test results using multiple regression analysis show that user involvement, education and training programs, and internal control sistems affect the village financial sistem. This research implies that the government needs to increase the expertise of the apparatus in using information technology to accelerate the presentation of financial reports in the village. Abstract

Real estate companies have this specific retention account receivable due to revenue recognition. The problem was demands to maintain the reliability of receivable balances stated in the balance sheet and to provide comprehensive information on retention receivables for the collection management process. It is necessary to develop an accounting information system for the retention of account receivables at the company. This study aims to develop an Accounting Information system using the waterfall model of the SDLC method. The current system needs to be improved in supporting the reliability of balance sheets and is not yet able to assist in the decision-making process regarding the collection management process. The result of this research is to successfully develop an accounting information system for retention receivables that can produce sufficient, comprehensive reports to support decision-making. It is suggested that system development be implemented in the design of a detailed database and its relation to the existing database and implemented by revising the current software so that it can be integrated with the retention receivables information system.

Abstract

Based on data from KSEI, since 2019 the number of investors in Indonesia has increased significantly, known from the increase in the number of Single Investors Identification (SID). However, the level of financial literacy in Indonesia is still low. They indicated that people's understanding and knowledge of financial products is still need to be improved. The current study aims to assess the effect of financial literacy, accounting information, risk perception, and herding behavior on investment decisions. This research used quantitative techniques using questionnaires distributed to students of the accounting department at Veteran National Development University Yogyakarta, Indonesian Islamic University, and STIE YKPN Business School. This research used 70 respondents with a convenience sampling approach and multiple linear regression for analyzing the hypothesis. The result showed that financial literacy, accounting information, and herding behavior affect investment decisions. On the other hand, risk perception does not influence an investment decision

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dalam bidang konstruksi semakin berkembang, salah satunya adalah implementasi Building Information Modelling (BIM) 5D yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam perhitungan volume dan estimasi biaya pekerjaan struktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan perhitungan estimasi biaya antara metode konvensional dan metode BIM 5D pada proyek pembangunan Gedung Kelas SMP di Balikpapan Regency. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis perbandingan berdasarkan data proyek yang diperoleh dari dokumen Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) serta pemodelan menggunakan software Autodesk Revit 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan konsep BIM 5D menghasilkan total volume pekerjaan yang lebih kecil dibandingkan metode konvensional. Selisih volume pembesian pada total item pekerjaan struktur sebesar 7.131,53 kg (15,08%), sedangkan selisih volume beton sebesar 61,96 m³ (19,32%). Dari segi biaya, hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode BIM 5D menghasilkan total biaya sebesar Rp. 948.839.979,35, sedangkan metode konvensional menghasilkan biaya sebesar Rp. 1.137.233.783,98, dengan selisih biaya sebesar Rp. 188.393.804,64 atau penghematan sebesar 16,57%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the benefits of information technology in improving online business in TikTok. In the corporate world, information technology has developed rapidly. This company uses information technology to increase the growth of the company itself. Looking at the current information technology has been used by various fields, including in the economic field. As we know that currently, TikTok is one of the applications that is frequently visited by the public, in 2022 the number of TikTok visitors will reach 62.52% or 1.46 billion visitors, this figure has increased compared to last year. With advances in technology, nowadays many people make purchases, one of which is through the tiktok application. Tiktok is not just for entertainment, but now Tiktok has launched the Tiktokshop feature. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with literature study data collection techniques, so that data can be obtained through related journals, books, or other reference materials. Tiktok is one of the e-commerce platforms in Indonesia which has become a business opportunity by developing into a popular digital marketing tool. Through tiktok, someone can sell the desired item by using various digital marketing strategies. The marketing strategy commonly used in TikTok is through advertising and video content.
