Abstract

North Korea's nuclear development is quite a serious problem for the East Asian region, especially Japan and South Korea, because nuclear development requires cooperation in the exchange of information or what is known as the general security of military information agreement (GSOMIA) between Japan and South Korea, but with the existence of factors Unfavorable history makes this cooperation difficult to agree on. The involvement of the United States in the East Asia region is considered as an affinity for both countries so that the two countries signed the GSOMIA cooperation. This research uses qualitative methods with the aim of finding out the complexity of the East Asian region, the United States' efforts to maintain its hegemony, and better understanding the content of GSOMIA bilateral cooperation. In this research, researchers used regional security complex theory, hegemony stability theory and the concept of security cooperation. This research explains how the development of North Korean nuclear activities ultimately makes conditions in the East Asia region increasingly complex. In this research, the author concludes that the United States' involvement in GSOMIA is an effort to maintain United States hegemony.

Abstract

The use of information technology in learning can certainly be done with various educational programs. As is the case in learning Islamic Religious Education, where in this case the role of media technology is also needed to get new learning and insights for students. However, this also needs to be juxtaposed with the participation of teachers or lecturers who assist students in using information technology media as an effective learning medium. Especially with the increasing ease of obtaining information and communicating which will have an impact on religious differences that can trigger differences in understanding for every world community. Thus, the role of teachers or lecturers has an important role in the use of information technology for learning activities. Where the abilities and expertise of a teacher or lecturer need to be optimized in the use of information technology as an effective learning medium for students. In this regard, the author would like to elaborate a discussion related to the optimal use of information technology in Islamic Religious Education learning activities through the approach of literature study research methods and descriptive methods. With research that discusses this matter, it is hoped that it can help and make it easier for teachers to direct students in achieving learning goals.

Abstract

The utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the contemporary era has become a major highlight in the world of Education. This study aims to determine the extent to which the level of effectiveness of ICT in improving learning PAI in the contemporary era today. This research adopts the method of literature study or literature review to explore this theme. The research steps include topic identification, literature collection, literature selection based on relevance and quality, as well as in-depth analysis to identify key findings, Approaches, Methodologies, and related research results. From the synthesis of the literature, conclusions were drawn regarding the effectiveness of the use of ICT in PAI learning in the contemporary era, with recommendations for subsequent research. The results showed that the integration of ICT in PAI learning provides the potential to increase the effectiveness of learning, enrich the learning experience of students, and expand the scope of Islamic education paradigm.

Abstract

The Baitussholihin Mosque information system is an Android-based application designed to store various types of data, including lecture videos, prayer schedules, and activity agendas, through the features and menus available in the app. This application helps mosque administrators store important data more effectively, reducing the risk of losing it. The research employs a qualitative research method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system development method used is the Throwaway Prototyping Method. The application that has been developed successfully organizes and provides important data reports based on the mosque's needs.

Abstract

"Toya", the Sanskrit for water, has an excellent value for the survival of living things in the world. Around 71% of the earth's surface is covered by water, whereas the oceans hold about 96.5% of all water. The sea is currently affected by contamination from waste or garbage such as plastic, metal, glass, wood, paper, rubber, clothing, and textiles. The lack of public awareness of maintaining environmental cleanliness contributes to trash accumulation in the ocean, which also impacts marine ecosystems. One part of the marine ecosystems affected by marine trash is coral sponges through the implementation of augmented reality (AR) based science technology by creating applications that can be used as a medium of information about coral sponges in the form of three-dimensional (3D) objects, as well as a tangible layout of providing education about the diversity of marine ecosystems, especially the types of coral sponges. The data in this study were collected through direct observation, using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method to create coral sponges augmented reality applications. Based on the application of the MDLC method to the coral sponges augmented reality application, the augmented reality coral sponges application can be realized and run on android mobile devices with excellent performance. This application has succeeded in bringing up various types of coral sponges in the form of three-dimensional (3D) objects as a form of information and educational media to the users about the importance of keeping the environment clean from marine trash to maintain the sustainability of the marine ecosystem for a better future.

Abstract

Hasnur Centre is the CSR institution of Hasnur Group dedicated to the development of human resources in South Kalimantan. The performance assessment for Hasnur Centre employees currently relies on a conventional and unidirectional brief fill-in-the-blank method, reflecting the viewpoint of superior, indicating a need for an adjustment in the employed method. Furthermore, the employee evaluation process at Hasnur Centre still relies on a simple Google Form. Therefore, there is a need for the development of information system integration that can automate employee performance assessment at Hasnur Centre. The system is developed gradually according to the needs of the HR Admin, utilizing the Spiral development method. The tools include Use Case Diagrams, PHP as the programming language, CodeIgniter as the system development framework, and MySQL. This research has resulted in the Employee Performance Assessment Information System for Hasnur Centre employees, introducing a novelty by integrating the 360° Assessment method based on predetermined perspectives and sub-perspectives using a Likert Scale combined with a brief qualitative input method in which evaluators provide written feedback on the assessed employees. The combination of these two methods results in a more measurable, objective, and unbiased performance evaluation, making it a reliable tool for the Executive Director of Hasnur Centre in making decisions related to employee performance
