Abstract

A College needs a good governance in implementation of information technology, especially which related with information security because information is an important asset. Framework which can be used for the preparation of information security governance is COBIT 5 from ISACA. The first  step to start the preparation of the governance using COBIT is mapping between the goal of college with enterprise goals (EG), IT Related Goals and domain process COBIT 5. From 15 colleges that have been accredited in West Java (15 Januari 2015), produced 13 EG related for college accreditation A, B and 10 for college accreditation EG C. For a sample in process capability assessment of information security governance, we used Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) as the research object, which is an accredited college C, and EG focused on optimization of business process functionality associated with the alignment of IT goals of IT and business strategy, and 10 processes, i.e EDM01, EDM01, APO01, APO02, APO03, APO05, APO07, APO08, BAI01, BAI02. From the results obtained capability assessment process UMMI value of 7 is on level 0, ie the value of the attribute <15-50% and 3 process closer to fulfillment level 1, ie the interval> 50-85%. Gap analysis results, it turns out that making such UMMI lack of work products (evidence / result) of activities of governance processes deemed to have been executed. To meet the achievement level, it is recommended to perform compliance on each best practice and work products, and can be initiated by creating a guide to information security.

Abstract

Useful data sets can be used as information to solve problems or share knowledge with others. In the case of companies implementing the new system, many input errors, or not knowing the workflow of the program, are experienced repeatedly by the same person or people in the same department. Besides that, with the entry of new employees, it takes time to adapt and how to solve the problem. To solve it, a place is needed to record problems and their solutions, or share knowledge, both for old and new employees as 'First Aid'. Knowledge Management System application is expected to help solve the problems as a place to collect data which contains errors, cause and solving; business flow; user authorization; etc. The data used, using data from a collection of tickets, personal messages or e-mail, and knowledge owned by the user, will be entered into the database as a storage place for knowledge. In the input process, each word will be broken down based on the character 'space', tokenizing, filtering, and VSM and then entered into the database. Users can search for information or knowledge by entering keywords or sentences according to user needs, then the input will be processed by tokenizing, filtering, and calculating the length using VSM. After getting the input length, the results will use the TF-IDF algorithm and cosine similarity, and the system will display the results in list form and see the details if the results from the list are selected.

Abstract

The selection of an IT manager in a company has an important role in a decision, because a manager occupies a managerial level position who will make decisions later. The current process of selecting IT managers is still being carried out conventionally, resulting in several problems. Among them, the assessment is carried out manually so that the calculation process can occur errors and take longer, then which alternative is the best according to the recommendation of the decision support system (DSS) application. To overcome some of these problems, a DSS was designed which resulted in more precise and effective decisions. The method used is the Profile Matching method which is used to determine alternative rankings, where the criteria and weight values ??have been determined and are contained in the assessment document. This research produces a web-based DSS application that helps decision making in selecting IT managers. This DSS application will simplify the calculation of the assessment thereby reducing calculation errors. The end result of implementing DSS for the selection of IT managers is that the selection process becomes more precise, effective and objective

Abstract

The role of information technology in an organization is growing so fast. Vehicle Testing of Management Information System (VTMIS) is a system that uses information technology to serve users in motor vehicle administration in the Banyumas transportation service area. VTMIS at the Banyumas Transportation Department is an integrated information system for the motor vehicle testing process starting from the registration process, levy payment, and vehicle testing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risk management at VTMIS in Banyumas Transportation Department using Control Objective for Information and Related Technology (COBIT 4.1) domain Plan and Organize (PO) 9. COBIT 4.1 is a framework for analyzing and ensuring information technology aligns with business management by calculating maturity levels. The data analysis results from the PO9 domain show that VTMIS risk management has a maturity level of 3.46. The maturity level of VTMIS at the Banyumas Transportation Department is at level 3, namely defined, meaning that procedures are in a position of standardization, documentation, and individual communication. The recommendation for VTMIS at the Banyumas Transportation Department needs to carry out risk management in a structured, massive and integrated manner

Abstract

Success in a career is everyone's dream, and it is not an exception for Information Technology graduates who are engaged in information technology-related jobs. Several studies have documented the role of the following two (2) constructs, namely Career Competence (CC) and Lecturer Competence (LC), in Career Success (CS). The authors believe that University Commitment (UC) must be included in this list. This research aims at developing a model that explains and measures the relationship amongst those four (4) constructs. The model that will be developed is based on the Structural Equations Modelling Technique. Respondents participating in this research are IT graduates working in IT-related jobs who have graduated from three (3) private universities in Bandung (Indonesia), namely, Maranatha Christian University (UKM), Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), and Harapan Bangsa Institute of Technology (ITHB)) with graduating years ranging from 2006 to 2018. The collected data will be processed using IBM SPSS AMOS. This research proves that firstly, LC influences both UC and CC, secondly, UC influences CC, and lastly, CC affects CS. Further hope this model can be developed for other universities in Indonesia to increase Lecture Competency and University Commitments by the strategic plans of each university. Abstract

 In this research, an analysis of Wi-Fi products was carried out using Risk Framework, Information Technology (IT) Domain Risk Response, and decision tree method to determine decision making at the Telecommunication companies which occurs from January to September 2021. The Wi-Fi installation process was carried out to assess how far Telecommunication company had responded to problems related to IT risks. This analysis is carried out to help the Telecommunication company create a framework to respond to IT risks that have occurred, such as human risk errors, system disturbances, interference fromoutside parties, inventory control, as well as responding to problems related to IT risks such as problems related to possible risks to the system used. The goal is to provide recommendations to the company in accordance with the IT Risk Framework. Thedata sources are derived from a direct interview with the manager of the Telecommunication company and customer service data. The analysis refers to the process of installing Wi-Fi for the customers. Customer service data is analyzed using the Decision Tree in Weka. The results of the analysis are expected to support the Telecommunication company to be better inresponding and reacting to IT risk and incidents that have occurred, those that may occur at telecommunication installation.

Abstract

The development and use of information technology today cannot be avoided by most organizations, including one of the universities in Bandung. Universities have utilized information technology to support processes and activities that occur within universities, especially academic processes. Processes related to academics are supported by a new academic information system that has just been implemented, to complement the previous academic information system. In addition to the use of information technology at the university, information technology services are also an important part so that information technology can be provided according to user needs and affect user satisfaction. Analysis of the management of academic information system services needs to be done to find out services related to academic information systems and information systems according to user needs and can provide satisfaction to users, especially in the academic field. The analysis was carried out using the criteria on service intelligence and COBIT 5.0 DSS06.02 control the processing of information.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate PT Gramedia Asri Media to find out whether the company's IT services meet the best standards of the ITIL V3 Service Operations framework. Service Operations focus includes Problem Management, Incident Management, Access Management, Request Fulfillment, and Event Management. Evaluation is carried out in four stages: planning, field inspection, reporting, and follow-up. The results indicate the maturity level of IT service implementation. For data collection, questionnaires were distributed to five people who were surveyed and interviewed with the heads of engineering services and support staff. The results show that the company's IT service maturity level is at level one. In addition, this research produced seventy suggestions for companies to improve their IT services. The results show that almost all suggestions were well received by the company, and some of them have been implemented at PT Gramedia Asri Media. However, of course, with the problems discovered from this research, there will be a desire to improve service and performance.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the use of the internet facilitates users in obtaining information. One of the media for obtaining information is by accessing websites. Website is a part of the internet that consists of pages displaying text, images, sound, and videos. One type of website is a profile website that presents specific information about organization or educational institution. However, not all educational institutions fully utilize websites, and one example is Information Systems Program (Prodi Sistem Informasi), as their existing website only showcases a landing page and does not meet the users' information needs. Therefore, this research conducted to provide a profile website implementing Information Architecture based on Human-Centered Design to effectively convey website information, aligning with user needs. The applied Information Architecture encompasses aspects such as organization system, labeling system, navigation system, and searching system. Human-Centered Design approach includes analysis of usage context, analysis of user needs, design solution creation, and design evaluation. Design evaluation uses tree testing, resulting in a success rate of 94.71%, directness 82.65%, time spent 3 minutes 59 seconds, first click 73.75%, and destination 80.5%. Thus, the design solution's outcomes can be implemented in the form of a website, as the majority of users can find all tested categories. Subsequently, searching system test conducted through tree testing, yielding success rate of 98%, directness 96%, time spent 79% falling into fast category, first click 97%, and destination 96%. It's concluded that searching system can assist users in quickly and accurately finding the desired pages.

Abstract

GIS Cluster of Fisheries Business Strategy for East Java is a visual map design based on the Geographical Information System (GIS) website that presents the potential and business strategies to capture fisheries in East Java Province. Market analysis is used to assess the feasibility of market aspects using the dimensions of market potential, competitors, segmentation targeting and positioning, interests for business actors, income and business model canvas. The research methodology was descriptive qualitative using primary and secondary data. The results obtained from the market aspect with an overall average score on 3 dimensions indicated that respondents tend to agree that GIS design will have a positive impact on business actors. The East Java Fisheries Business Strategy Cluster GIS had a positioning, which was a superior feature by grouping information and data to find out the capture fisheries business strategy. Based on the results of the market analysis on the GIS system, it was said to be feasible in terms of each dimension.
