Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based learning media, specifically the Bamboozle platform, in Indonesian language learning for fifth-grade elementary school students on the topic of intrinsic elements of a story. Bamboozle is an online educational game-based learning media that does not require students to create accounts or use special devices, making it highly suitable for collaborative and interactive learning contexts. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. Using a qualitative approach, the study involves Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students as subjects to explore their learning experiences when using Bamboozle integrated with the Discovery Learning model. The results indicate that the use of Bamboozle positively impacts student engagement during the learning process, particularly in aspects of communication, collaboration, and fostering a healthy competitive spirit. This media facilitates the understanding of abstract concepts and increases students' learning motivation through a fun and participatory classroom environment. One of Bamboozle's main advantages is its ability to promote teamwork without the need for complex technological infrastructure. Nevertheless, the study also identifies several challenges, such as the limitation on the number of characters allowed in question creation and the absence of an individual assessment system. These issues present obstacles in objectively evaluating each student’s learning achievements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Management Information Systems, Competence, and Motivation on Employee Performance at Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Pembantu Syariah (CPS) Bengkulu. A quantitative approach was used in this study, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to all employees, totaling 20 respondents. The research findings indicate that, partially, the Management Information System (X1) does not have a significant effect on performance, which may be due to suboptimal utilization of the system or its lack of integration with daily work needs. Conversely, Competence (X2) has a positive and significant effect, as employees with relevant skills are better able to perform their tasks effectively. Meanwhile, Motivation (X3) does not show a significant effect on performance, possibly because the type of motivation provided does not align with the employees' needs or expectations. Nevertheless, simultaneous analysis reveals that the three variables together have a significant effect on performance. This suggests that a combination of supportive information systems, appropriate competence, and suitable motivation can collectively enhance overall employee performance.

Abstract

The follow-up process of examination results at the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) has so far been conducted manually using spreadsheets and physical documents, which has the potential to cause delays in reporting, data duplication, and low monitoring efficiency. This research aims to design and build a monitoring information system for follow-up on examination results as a form of digitalization of the audit process within the BKN. This system is developed using web-based technology, with Laravel as the backend framework, PHP as the main programming language, and MySQL as the database. The development process uses the Waterfall method which includes stages of analysis, system design using UML, implementation, and testing. To ensure the functionality of the system, black box testing is conducted which shows that all main features operate according to user requirements. In addition, the system evaluation was conducted through a user satisfaction questionnaire among several relevant employees at BKN, and achieved a satisfaction level of 87%, indicating a positive acceptance of the developed system. This system enables the recording, monitoring, and reporting of follow-up actions from inspections to be done in a structured, real-time, and well-documented manner, while also supporting increased transparency and accountability within governmental agencies.

Abstract

This research aims to address the challenges of administration and natural resource management in Wernas Village, South Sorong, Southwest Papua, through the implementation of website-based administrative and geospatial information systems and Android applications. Wernas Village, which is currently still lagging behind in terms of technology, has great potential to develop a modern digital village, especially by utilizing abundant natural resources such as rivers. In order to achieve these objectives, this research uses mixed methods research that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. The initial stage involved a preliminary study to analyze the needs and challenges of the village, followed by the design of an information system that included website design, Android application, and geospatial mapping. The prototype of the information system was then developed and tested in a limited environment in the village. Evaluation and refinement were carried out based on the results of the trial, with the aim of ensuring the information system was ready for full implementation. The targeted outputs of this research include the design of an information system prototype that is ready to be implemented, mapping of administrative needs and management of village natural resources, as well as improving the quality of public services and administrative efficiency. It is expected that the results of this research can make a significant contribution in improving the quality of life of the people of Wernas Village, accelerating inclusive and sustainable village development, and becoming an example for other villages in the South Sorong Regency area to adopt information technology to advance local development.

Abstract

This research aims to design and test a web-based information system for ship data collection at the Port of Benteng Selayar. This system is expected to improve the performance of the staff of the Class III Port Management Unit of the Selayar Fortress and make it easier for the public, especially residents of the Selayar Islands Regency, to access ship schedule information at the port. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) methods to produce and test the effectiveness of the developed products. The results of the study show that this system is able to replace the manual method previously used in collecting ship data, reduce errors in making reports, and make it easier for the public to access ship schedules. The system test uses the ISO 25010 standard with eight test aspects, where the results show that the developed information system meets excellent quality standards, including aspects of functionality, reliability, performance efficiency, usability, portability, security, compatibility, and maintenance. The system has been tested using WAPT, GTMetrix, and Quttera software, and tested on a variety of different devices and browsers. Based on the results of the trial, this information system is suitable for use by port managers and the community.

Abstract

Legal Protection for Parties in Information Technology-Based Money Lending and Borrowing Service (LPMUBTI) or Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Lending Contracts in Indonesia. P2P Lending is a financial technology innovation that enables lenders and borrowers to transact directly without the intermediation of traditional financial institutions. Despite providing ease of access to financing, P2P Lending also presents various legal risks, such as imbalances in rights and obligations within contracts, misuse of personal data, and the proliferation of illegal platforms. This research employs a normative legal research method with a statutory approach and analyzes the regulations of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), particularly POJK Number 77/POJK.01/2016. The research findings indicate that although P2P Lending regulations are quite comprehensive, their implementation still faces various challenges, including low financial literacy among the public and weak supervision of illegal platforms. To create a fair, safe, and sustainable P2P Lending ecosystem, it is necessary to strengthen regulations, increase financial literacy, and provide more effective legal protection for lenders and borrowers. The recommendations provided include stricter law enforcement against illegal platforms, contract transparency, and education for the public regarding their rights as users of P2P Lending services.
