Abstract

This study explores Cyberfaith, examining the intricate relationship between information technology and the religious perspectives of Muslim youth. With an emphasis on how the digital age has altered religious activities, the study offers complex insights into how information technology affects the spiritual perspectives of the next generation. The study adds to our understanding of the benefits and difficulties of incorporating technology into religious expressions by exploring the Cyberfaith phenomena. The findings emphasize the complexity of this influence and the part that religious beliefs play in influencing attitudes and actions. The development of Islamic religious narratives is greatly influenced by information technology, which questions established conventions and reframes concepts of authority and religion. The study's global reach demonstrates how Islamic expressions and societal elements are impacted in different parts of the world. Worship has changed as a result of the use of technology into religious rituals; this presents both opportunities and difficulties that need more investigation. The study highlights the significant change in Muslim youth's religious engagement in the digital age and stresses the significance of comprehending the effects on society and academia. Future studies should look at the implications for policy and education in helping Muslim teenagers utilize technology responsibly in religious contexts.

Abstract

The aim of this research will be to look more deeply into the problems faced by MSMEs in obtaining capital from banks due to the existing information asymmetry. This study uses a qualitative method that aims to explore the conditions in the field. The data analysis model used in this study is descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative, presented in the form of tables and images with descriptive statistics so that a comprehensive picture is obtained that can explain the research questions. Data collection techniques use questionnaires in the form of closed and open questions, interviews, and documentation. We find that there are information asymmetry between customers and banks. The information signal given by customers cannot be understood properly by bank officers because the information conveyed is in accordance with the SOP set by the bank. Customers modify the information given to bank officers so that the credit given is approved for several reasons such as insufficient collateral, other urgent needs, paying off debts from other creditors (take over), for new businesses, education costs and helping families. The bank's developed instrument should have identified the customer's signal. The bank can ignore this signal because the customer has a credit score that is not problematic and pays installments on time.

Abstract

As fake news, misinformation, and communication disorders continue to raise societal concerns, several countermeasures are emerging to combat this growing challenge. This study examines the role of social media in the spread of information disorder in Africa and evaluates how effectively three prominent fact-checking websites—FactCheckHub, Dubawa, and Africa Check—are addressing this communication crisis. Using a content analysis methodology, the research identifies common types of misinformation circulating on Nigerian social media, analyzes existing fact-checking techniques, and assesses the contributions of the selected platforms in mitigating information disorder. Drawing on academic frameworks related to misinformation, disinformation, and verification, the study explores how social media facilitates the spread of false narratives and the societal consequences that ensue. It contributes to broader discussions on media literacy, information integrity, and the cultivation of an informed society in the digital age by providing insights into the dynamics of disinformation in Nigeria and the critical role of fact-checking initiatives in addressing it.

Abstract

The increasing complexity and uncertainty of the business environment require organisations to optimise managerial performance in order to remain competitive. In Indonesian manufacturing companies, managerial performance is often influenced by internal and external factors such as environmental uncertainty, involvement in budget formulation, and task complexity. Although Management Accounting Information Systems (MAIS) have been widely studied in the context of decision making, their role as a moderating variable in the relationship between environmental uncertainty, budget participation, and task complexity on managerial performance has not been extensively researched. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method distributed to from manufacturing companies in South Jakarta. The data analysis technique used is (Moderated Regression Analysis) MRA .The results of the study indicate that Environmental uncertainty and task complexity have a significant negative effect on managerial performance, while budget participation and MAIS have a significant positive effect. MAIS was also found to weaken the negative influence of environmental uncertainty and strengthen the positive influence of budget participation on managerial performance, but it did not moderate the relationship between task complexity and managerial performance. This study introduces MAIS as a moderating variable that provides new insights into managerial performance studies. These findings emphasise the importance of implementing robust information systems to support more effective managerial strategies and decision-making.

Abstract

The information system for storing pavement data at the airport remains manual and is currently focused on a single device. This study aims to design a website-based application for storing pavement data at the airport. With this application, it is expected to improve the service of the airport facilities unit. The data used in this study is pavement data from Yogyakarta International Airport. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method, utilizing the Waterfall model for the second stage, specifically the design stage, with planning tools that include flowcharts and use case diagrams. The design of this application also uses the App Sheet website using simple coding. Additionally, this application is compatible with various platforms, making it more flexible for use anywhere and at any time online. Of course, with this application, pavement data storage can be computerized properly, and it features a database that helps reduce the accumulation of documents and prevent the loss of documents in other files.

Abstract

This study explores how integrated information systems enhance accountability and transparency in local governance, focusing on the case of Surabaya City, Indonesia. As public demands for open and efficient administration increase, local governments are under pressure to adopt digital tools that support transparent decision-making and accessible public services. This research adopts a literature review method, systematically analyzing scholarly sources published in the last decade related to digital governance, e-government, and information system integration. Findings indicate that the implementation of integrated information systems contributes significantly to reducing bureaucratic opacity and improving public trust. Surabaya City has emerged as a national model due to its progressive use of digital platforms to promote real-time data sharing and citizen engagement. Key enabling factors include strong political leadership, cross-sectoral collaboration, and investment in digital infrastructure. However, challenges remain in ensuring data interoperability, cybersecurity, and capacity building among public servants. The study highlights critical insights from both domestic and international experiences, offering a comparative lens for analysis. By synthesizing existing literature, this research provides a conceptual foundation for policymakers seeking to enhance local governance through technology. The findings underscore the need for a comprehensive and adaptive strategy to sustain digital transformation in the public sector.

Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior among adolescents has become an increasingly concerning issue, particularly in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This study aims to reduce students’ tendency toward such behavior through information services using the Pancawaskita approach, implemented among tenth-grade students of SMK Negeri 4 Medan. The research employed the Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) method, conducted in two cycles. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding and self-control regarding the risks of premarital sex. Prior to the intervention, only 35% of students demonstrated a high level of understanding; after the second cycle, this figure rose to 82%. The Pancawaskita approach, which emphasizes the development of (cognition), (emotion), (intention), (action), and spiritual devotion, proved effective in fostering students’ awareness and commitment to maintaining morally responsible and healthy behavior.
