Abstract

This study aimed to help the children with language problems by using play therapy which are integrated in learning activities in kindergarten Karunia T.A 2014/2015. This research was a classroom action research (PTK), which consists of the second cycle, that cycle I and cycle II. The population is all kindergarten students and the sample are 46 kindergarten students who are having language development problems. The data collection technique was observation. Based on data analysis that the children with language development problem in the first cycle there are three children (50%) who had experienced the development of language with an average of 61.6 and there were three children (50%) who are not experiencing language development. Thus it can be seen that a childs ability to follow the play therapy is still relatively unfavorable within 5 children. In the second cycle as much as 5 children (83.3%) who had experienced the development of language and only 1 child (16.6%) were still not good who have not experienced the development of language, with the class average value is 84.1. Based on these results it can be concluded that the counseling play therapy techniques may improve childrens language development in kindergarten Karunia Medan Johor.Keyword: Counseling, language Development, Play Therapy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan realistik dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Taeng Kab. Gowa. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, pada penelitian ini akan digunakan jenis penelitian Eksperimen. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama 4 kali pertemuan. Menetapkan masing-masing siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian ke dalam 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan realistik dan kelompok kontrol yang diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Setiap kelompok diajar dengan frekuensi pertemuan yang sama dengan materi yang sama. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan Realistik lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Taeng Kab. Gowa untuk pokok bahasan Pecahan.

Abstract

There are currently efforts to resolve cases of child sexual abuse in Indonesia by manage legally laws that provides penalties for those who engage in child sexual abuse cases. However it is still less attention in the education field, educational institutions have not been able to play an active role and become a shield to prevent child sexual abuse. In other words, it should be emphasized that prevention efforts have to be comprehensive, which is mean that not only done by one party (parents or relatives) only, but must be integrated with the government, community organizations, schools, professionals, who does have a concentration on growth and child development. In Indonesia, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) admits received many complaints of violence and sexual abuse of children, based on KPAI data that has been collected in the period January to March 2014. During those three months, there were 379 cases reported to the KPAI, one of which is sexual violence that afflicts kindergarten students at the Jakarta International School (JIS). Based on the data described above is carried out preventive measures to prevent the occurrence of child sexual abuse in the form of education and research. The research conducted by the author with the title " The effectiveness of touch / don’t touch technique to improving the understanding of sexual abuse prevention for primary school students in SDN No 060885 Medan ". This research is quasi-experimental research, using scale to collected the sexual abuse prevention understanding among elementry student. The research showed that the average value of the pre-test = 58.41 with a highest score of 77 and the lowest value of 49 and a standard deviation of 8.7, while for the data obtained posttest average value of post test = 75.30 with a highest score 89 and the lowest value of 61 and a standard deviation of 6.3. Based on the above data it can be concluded there was an increased understanding of the elementary school students grade 3 Elementary School SDN No. 060 885 of the hazards and sexual abuse. This means that by using the techniques touch / dont touch can enhance students' understanding and the prevention of sexual harassment preventive efforts

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the quality of building permit services on the Sigi Regency Board of Investment and Integrated Licensing Services. This study used qualitative method. The research location was the Office of Sigi Regency Board of Investment and Integrated Licensing Services. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, i.e. the technique of determining informants with certain considerations by setting 7 (seven) informants. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentations. The theory used in this study was the theory of Zethmal, Parasuraman and Berry, consisting of 5 (five) dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.Based on the research results, it could be concluded that the quality of building permit services at Sigi Regency Board of Investment and Integrated Licensing Services had not been going well. First, tangibles dimension: the facilities and infrastructures of the Office were not adequate, the lounge area which must be addressed, and the toilets needed to be added; despite the Office status was only something owed. However, the apparatus neatness had been good. Second, reliability dimension: the quickness of the apparatus in providing services was not in accordance with the people’s expectations because there was no independence in the licensing process and the authority was still in the technical departments. Third, responsiveness dimension: the apparatus who had been serving the applicants had been good, but the quickness in completing the issuance of licenses was not maximized because there was no Standard Operational Procedures. Fourth, assurance dimension: the guarantee given by the apparatus to applicants had not been timely because of the delay in the process at the technical services. Fifth, emphaty dimensions: the services provided by the apparatus of the Board were not discriminatory and always be polite and courteous.

Abstract

In classroom learning, students need mathematical cognitive flexibility to be able to solve mathematical problems with the various ideas they express. To solve the problems, they must be able to grasp the problem, see it from various points of view, and should not be rigid thinking with one solving method.  In fact, the students still lack the ability to think flexibly in solving math problems. This exploration is necessary to determine how to encourage the students’ creative problem-solving. The purposive sampling technique is used to select two out of 150 of 4th Grade students who have taken an initial test to measure their creative abilities. Problem-solving worksheet, think-aloud records, and interviews are used as data collection instruments. Then, the data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research instrument is validated by two professors of mathematics. Through a series of revisions based on expert advice, the validity results are said to be feasible for use. To check for reliability, field tests are tested on 10 students who meet the criteria as research subjects. Analysis results indicate that cognitive abilities involve cognitive processes in the form of the ability to assess process by looking for patterns of numbers, mentally compute, estimate, and assess the rationality or reasonableness of calculation results. Other findings on students' cognitive processes in solving math problems include looking for number patterns, carrying out trial-and-error (also called guess-and-check), and drawing diagrams. Students with cognitive flexibility tend to use trial-and-error when solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

Guru dapat memodifikasi kelas mereka sehingga sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa mereka jika mereka terlebih dahulu memahami hubungan yang ada antara berbagai gaya belajar siswa mereka dan kapasitas mereka untuk bekerja melalui tantangan matematika, seperti soal cerita menggunakan pecahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki dan mengkategorikan keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak sekolah dasar di kelas lima sehubungan dengan gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik mereka terkait dengan penyelesaian masalah kata pecahan. Penelitian ini tergolong kualitatif karena dalam pengumpulan datanya menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 64 To'bulung Kota Palopo yang terletak di Kecamatan Bara. Penelitian melibatkan partisipasi enam siswa, dengan dua siswa dari masing-masing tiga mode pembelajaran (visual, auditori, dan kinestetik) mengambil bagian. Informasi dikumpulkan melalui penggunaan prosedur wawancara, pemeriksaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan kuesioner tentang gaya belajar yang berbeda. Selama penyelidikan ini, kami menggunakan teknik analisis data yang didasarkan pada model Miles dan Huberman. Pendekatan ini meliputi reduksi dan penyajian data, serta interpretasi dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Keandalan data dievaluasi dengan menggunakan metode yang disebut triangulasi teknis.

Abstract

The geometric planning of the road has been made more convenient by technological advances in construction, which have led to innovations that are still growing. With the use of Autocad® Civil 3D, the process of planning the Indramayu-Jatibarang roadways is complete. This paper aims to explain how to plan roadways geometrically with Autocad® Civil 3D and to provide the reader a knowledge of how Autocad® Civil 3D can speed up and simplify work processes. The approach in this planning uses many programs, including Google Earth for determining the coordinates, Global Mapper for obtaining the site contour, and Autocad® Civil 3D for concluding the horizontal alignment. The process of designing with Autocad® Civil 3D is one of the results of this planning.

Abstract

Jalan K.H Abdul Halim is one of the urban streets located in the center of Majalengka city, this road their several activity centers in Majalengka city. This area is growing so that traffic flow along this road is increasing, causing various traffic problems such as traffic jams. The development of highway construction is increasing rapidly In Indonesia, along with the rapid use of private vehicles. Road infrastructure development can be in the form of widening the shoulder of the road to minimize congestion. Data collection techniques in this study use Primary and Secondary methods. Peak currents on this road occur in the afternoon or at intervals of 17:15-17:30. Jalan K.H. Abdul Halim type is 4/2 UD or 4 Lanes 2 Directions are undivided. The capacity of Jalan K.H Abdul Halim is 1147 with DS 0,85 in the morning until noon, and 1,02 in the afternoon. The degree of saturation on this road is obtained, namely Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon 0.85, while on Sunday afternoon, it reaches 1.02. The results showed that LoS in the morning and afternoon was C and changed to F in the afternoon. LoS with an F value in the afternoon is quite surprising because a city with a large population is experiencing extraordinary traffic jams.

Abstract

Changes in the digital era affect education. To synergize with change, educational leaders must be able to adapt. The problems presented are a research gap that will become a scientific discourse related to leadership perspectives and decision-making in the era of digitalization. The aim of the research will be limited to discussing the educational leadership model in the digital era, which is expected to be a solution to educational problems, and how the facts in the field describe the perspective of educational leadership in decision-making with the rise of digitalization. A deeper perspective of educational leadership related to the spirit of positive change in further educational improvement.The purpose of this research is to determine the model of educational leadership in the digital era and the perspective of educational leadership in decision-making with the rise of digitalization. This research is qualitative research using the literature study method. Literary sources are limited from the last four years, namely articles or writings published in 2019-2023. The results of this study found several models of leadership in the digital era, namely collaborative leadership, transformational leadership, democratic leadership, participatory leadership, and coercive digital leadership.
