Abstract

A Contract Change Order (CCO) is a formal mechanism that accommodates changes in construction implementation, which commonly occur in projects. Although it provides flexibility and adaptability, the CCO process often requires complex coordination and takes considerable time. Therefore, effective management is essential to minimize negative impacts on stakeholders. Implementing integrated Building Information Modeling (BIM) based on a Common Data Environment (CDE) is a digital innovation that may potentially improve the effectiveness of the CCO process. In Indonesia, the use of BIM is increasingly encouraged through the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2018, particularly for non-simple state buildings. This study examines the implementation of integrated BIM-based CCO handling in one of the pilot building projects. The methods include a literature review, contract document analysis, interviews, and project data collection. The study found that the reviewed project had implemented CCO handling using three approaches: conventional methods, integrated BIM, and a combination of both. To assess the implementation, a comparison was made between the planned integrated BIM-based CCO process and actual conditions in the field. The analysis revealed that although the integrated BIM approach had been adopted, its implementation still faces several challenges. The main issues identified include the limited number of CDE user accounts, low human resource capacity, delays in 3D BIM modeling, and unclear legal frameworks governing the use of BIM in contract change processes.

Abstract

The city of Jambi is an administrative entity responsible for assisting the mayor in matters related to staffing, education, and training. Currently, the administrative process, particularly in task letter numbering, still encounters issues with number duplication. Therefore, an internal administrative information system using PHP programming language and MySQL DBMS is needed. The system development method used is the waterfall model with a unified model language approach, utilizing activity diagrams, use case diagrams, and class diagrams. This information system produces outputs that display the accumulated days of official trips per employee and generates task letters as well as travel orders automatically according to the official document format, thereby facilitating the printing and reporting process at the Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of Jambi City.

Abstract

This design proposal explores the phenomenon of Anak Indak Basuku children without a recognized clan identity within the Minangkabau matrilineal kinship system arising from interethnic marriages between Minangkabau men and non-Minangkabau women. The absence of a recognized lineage poses serious social and cultural challenges, including exclusion from traditional rights and communal identity. This project aims to raise awareness and provide solutions through the creation of a visual communication design in the form of an illustrated book and motion graphic. These media target Minangkabau youth, particularly males aged 17–23, as a strategic group likely to face such identity issues when considering marriage. The design process applies qualitative methods, including literature review, observation, interviews, and surveys, with data presented descriptively. The creative output integrates cultural values, local wisdom, and modern aesthetics to foster cultural continuity and increase public understanding of the Malakok tradition an indigenous solution that allows children to be integrated into Minangkabau clans. The result is a culturally grounded and visually engaging educational medium that contributes to the preservation of Minangkabau identity in the modern era

Abstract

This study explores the impact of excessive social media use on adolescent mental health, particularly among high school students in Padang Panjang, Indonesia. As digital technologies become more embedded in daily life, adolescents increasingly spend extended periods online, often unaware of the psychological consequences. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method supported by surveys, interviews, observations, and literature review. Data were collected from students, school counselors, and clinical psychologists, revealing that excessive social media use is strongly correlated with symptoms such as anxiety, depression, social withdrawal, and emotional instability. In response, the study designed an educational illustrated book titled Behind the Screen, aimed at increasing awareness and promoting healthy digital habits among youth. The visual strategy utilized relatable character illustrations and simplified language to communicate the risks of digital overuse and mental health decline. The results suggest that targeted visual media can serve as an effective tool to support mental health literacy and behavior change in adolescent communities

Abstract

This article discusses the development of a web-based Academic Information System (AIS) for Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School using  the Laravel framework. The main objective of this study is to create an integrated and efficient system to manage student academic data, including grades, report cards, attendance, and information about both instructors and students at Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall approach, starting from requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Data collection was carried out through interviews with pesantren administrative staff and observation of ongoing academic processes. The findings of the study show that the AIS developed successfully facilitates the digital management of academic data, reducing reliance on manual note-taking, which is prone to errors and slow. The system provides essential modules such as student data management, grade input, attendance recapitulation, student financial reports, and class schedules. System testing using the black box testing method  shows that all functions are operating well and meeting the needs of the user. Thus, this system is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in the management of academic information, as well as support better decision-making at the Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Cooperatives are one of the important pillars in the economic development of the community, especially in Blitar Regency. However, many cooperatives still face serious challenges in accountable and transparent financial governance. The low understanding of Private Entity Financial Accounting Standards (SAK EP) and the limited use of information technology are the main obstacles in preparing reliable financial reports. This community service activity aims to transform cooperative financial governance through the development and implementation of the Cooperative Accounting Information System (SIKOP) based on SAK EP. The approach used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving 30 production cooperatives in Blitar Regency as partners. The activities were carried out through the stages of identifying needs, developing systems, intensive training, and assisting in implementation and evaluation. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in the understanding and skills of cooperative administrators in preparing financial reports according to standards, as well as increasing the efficiency and accuracy of recording financial transactions. With the implementation of SIKOP, partner cooperatives also showed increased transparency and accountability which had an impact on member trust and potential access to funding. This program shows that digitizing SAK EP-based financial reports through SIKOP can be an effective solution in building professional, accountable, and sustainable cooperative governance.

Abstract

Taxes are a fundamental component of the economy, serving as a primary resource of revenue for governments across the globe. Tax revenues are essential for financing public expenditures such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the indirect relationship between information and communication technology (ICT) and tax revenue in Indonesia, specifically through tax compliance. We select ICT due to its established role as an integral part of society and helps streamline tax administration, including payment, reporting, and auditing. The data used in this study comprise panel data at the provincial level from 2018 to 2022. The tax indicator used is the tax ratio, while the ICT indicators include base transceiver station (BTS) infrastructure, and internet penetration. Utilizing the two-stage least squares (TSLS) method, this study finds that ICT has a positive correlation with the compliance ratio, and the compliance ratio, in turn, has a positive correlation with tax revenue. The implications of this study suggest the expansion of telecommunications infrastructure coverage across all regions of Indonesia and the utilization of technology in disseminating tax information to continually improve tax compliance and tax revenue mobilization.

Abstract

The development of human civilization, especially in communication and information technology, has made it easier for people to obtain information. One example of the acceleration of information exchange on taxation is the presence of the Automatic Exchange of Information (AEoI). Tax avoidance practices carried out by certain taxpayers are expected to be mitigated by the existence of AEOI. The existence of this AEoI system requires a legal instrument that is responsive to the certainty of personal data protection in Indonesia, considering that the rapid exchange of information can lead to violations of confidentiality or misuse of the data obtained. The research method used is a normative legal approach with a focus on legal analysis of literature, tracing legal materials from applicable regulations and literature. Indonesia has enacted Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (PDP Law) in 2022, effective as of October 2024. The preparation of the PDP Law itself is based on the golden standard of data protection regulations, namely the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. However, the effectiveness of the implementation of personal data protection does not come from the strictness of the regulations, but from the existence of a personal data protection supervisory agency. Personal data protection regulations in Singapore are regulated through the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), although the regulation is not as strict as the PDP Law or GDPR, but implementation can run well with the existence of a supervisory body, namely the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC). Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based accounting information system implementation in improving operational efficiency in manufacturing companies. The background of this research is based on the company's need to integrate business processes digitally, as well as the lack of empirical studies that directly measure the impact of ERP implementation on work efficiency. The method used is a quantitative approach through a survey of 46 respondents from four manufacturing companies. Data was collected using a questionnaire measuring five dimensions of ERP implementation: module integration, user training, ease of access, system reliability, and management support. The results showed that ERP implementation was in the high category (mean score 4.12) and had a positive impact on operational efficiency (mean score 4.08). Pearson correlation test showed a significant positive relationship between the level of ERP implementation and operational efficiency (r = 0.648, p < 0.001), while simple linear regression test showed that ERP contributed to 42% of the variation in operational efficiency (R² = 0.420). Nonetheless, non-technical barriers such as resistance to change, digital literacy gaps, and lack of advanced training were also found. The findings confirm that successful ERP implementation does not only depend on technological readiness, but also requires managerial support and overall organizational readiness.

Abstract

Vocational colleges play a crucial role in producing a work-ready human resource with skills that align with industry demands through practice-based learning and direct application. In this context, effective communication between vocational colleges and prospective students becomes a critical aspect. One form of this communication is introducing vocational education through promotional and outreach activities conducted by the Polimedia Public Relations (Humas) department. The "Polimedia Open House" and "Polimedia Goes to School" are two main programs organized by Humas Polimedia, aiming to introduce the campus to prospective students and provide an overview of the educational system and facilities available. This research aims to design and develop an information system for registering for Public Relations services, specifically the Polimedia Open House and Polimedia Goes to School events. The system was built using the Laravel framework, applying the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with an Agile Development Cycle approach for subsequent implementation by schools wishing to visit Polimedia. The system development was conducted iteratively through the stages of planning, requirements gathering, design, development and testing, implementation, and review. This web-based information system was created using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The system is equipped with registration features for the Polimedia Open House and Polimedia Goes to School activities, a gallery of event documentation, registration status tracking, and contact information. With this system, it is expected to simplify the management of event information for the Public Relations department and attract more schools to visit.
