Abstract

This study outlines the potential future direction of research in information technology impact. Based on current findings, we identify key areas where further investigation is needed to advance the understanding and application of information technology. Our discussion highlights gaps in the literature, proposes new methodologies, and suggests an interdisciplinary approach to answering unsolved questions. This research highlights the significant impact of information technology in improving operational efficiency and quality in the education, health, and economic sectors over the past two decades. Using the PRISMA method for systematic literature analysis, this study identifies key trends and developments in information technology and provides recommendations for evidence-based practices and policies. The results of this study are expected to make an essential contribution to theory and practice, offering insights for more informed decision-making and more effective implementation strategies in the use of information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to address challenges in transportation scheduling by employing a suitable algorithm to ensure the scheduling process operates efficiently and effectively. One algorithm identified as appropriate for this task is the Genetic Algorithm, which is widely recognized for its robust capabilities in optimization tasks. Known for its adaptability and robustness, the Genetic Algorithm is well-suited for scheduling applications, including academic timetabling, as it can handle complex problems involving multiple criteria and objectives. Inspired by principles of biological evolution and natural selection, this algorithm iteratively explores solutions to approach optimal outcomes, refining the schedule in each iteration until an effective solution is achieved. Based on the analysis of experimental results using real-world data and evaluation of the system's design, the study concludes that the Hiace transportation departure scheduling system was successfully developed using a web-based approach. This web-based system offers significant advantages, as it facilitates more efficient management of departure schedules and eliminates the need for manual checks. As a result, it reduces the risk of human error and allows for better resource allocation. The integration of Genetic Algorithms into the development of the Hiace transportation scheduling system demonstrates the potential of evolutionary computation in solving practical, real-life scheduling problems. The resulting system is supported by internet-based technologies, providing easy access to passengers and system administrators. Despite the positive outcomes achieved, the current implementation is not without limitations. Further refinement and continued development are essential to enhance system performance, increase reliability, and ensure it can adapt to evolving needs and operational complexities, ensuring its long-term effectiveness.

Abstract

Government infrastructure development often faces various challenges in terms of implementation efficiency and budget management accountability. Projects involving many stakeholders usually experience coordination obstacles, slow reporting, and a lack of accountable documentation. Amidst the increasing complexity of projects and demands for public transparency, the use of information systems has become an unavoidable need. This study aims to examine how information system implementation strategies can improve the effectiveness of infrastructure project governance. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach and used data sources from previous research results. Data analysis was carried out thematically to describe the challenges and strategies for implementing information systems in government projects. The results of the study show that the success of implementation is greatly influenced by the adjustment of organizational workflows, human resource readiness, and managerial support. An integrated information system can accelerate reporting, increase performance visibility, and strengthen internal supervision. Therefore, the adoption of information systems needs to be accompanied by a comprehensive strategy in order to have a real impact on the efficiency and accountability of infrastructure projects.

Abstract

Natural disasters often have significant impacts on public health, yet systematic monitoring of post-disaster diseases in Indonesia remains limited. This study compares the performance of two Named Entity Recognition (NER) models in extracting health impacts, affected locations, and disaster types from Indonesian-language online news articles. The first model is IndoBERT, fine-tuned using 1,137 manually validated disaster-related news articles. The second comprises baseline models from the IndoLEM benchmark, namely mBERT and XLM-RoBERTa, without domain-specific training. Evaluation results show that IndoBERT outperforms the baseline models, achieving 90.00% accuracy and an F1-score of 88.26%, compared to mBERT (72.93%) and XLM-R (76.44%). Further analysis of the extracted entities reveals spatial and temporal disease trends: floods in Java are consistently associated with diarrhea and skin diseases, while volcanic eruptions in eastern Indonesia are linked to respiratory infections and hypertension. These findings highlight the importance of selecting appropriate models to support data-driven public health monitoring systems in disaster-prone regions

Abstract

Learning effectiveness is an aspect of knowledge, attitude, competence, and skills that have been achieved by students according to the predetermined target. Information-based Time Management Counseling Services as one of the encouragements to equip students with the introduction and understanding of the time management process which greatly influences their learning effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the increase in student learning effectiveness after studying with the Counseling Service. This study used an experimental method with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection technique with a Likert scale was distributing questionnaires to students. The number of students analyzed in the study was 15 students of class XI MAN 6 Aceh Besar. The data analysis technique used the Normality Test and T-Test and N-Gain Test. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning effectiveness. The results of the T-Test test were 22.336 with a significance of 0.000 which means 0.00 <0.05 The average N-Gain value of Learning Effectiveness was 0.57 in the Moderate category. It can be concluded that the information-based time management counseling service approach can improve the learning effectiveness of MAN 6 Aceh Besar students

Abstract

This research explicitly examines the strategy model employed in the growth of Islamic institutions in terms of educational technology plans geared at organizational sustainability. The research employs a qualitative approach. The study's interpretation is applicable and backed by field data, resulting in a model for the establishment of Islamic institutions that may serve as a reference in Pakistan. This study examines studies on strategic goals, curricular relevance to industry demands, and employment outcomes for university graduates. The survey found no substantial difference between Islamic and regular universities. The university's development strategy is in line with the government. As such, colleges have been given the option to develop creative programs. In this situation, program innovation is driven by technology and information. The Islamic University of Pakistan conducted employment market and labor research, as well as studies that illustrate the pattern of using Information Communication Technology (ICT), which revealed significant developments in the field of sustainability and community oriented. Furthermore, the study's findings revealed a gap between activities at Islamic institutions and the experiences and skills required for young people to enter the information technology business. The paper has consequences for innovation and shifting priorities in higher education policy.

Abstract

Stroke patients often experience changes in body structure, form, and function, which can lead to a decrease in self-efficacy. Individuals living with chronic illness require social support, health education, guidance, and coping strategies to manage their condition. One of the challenges faced by stroke patients is the limited access to in-person support services. Delivering care through alternative modes such as video, computer, or telephone has the potential to overcome some of these barriers. This review aimed to examine the effectiveness of information technology-based educational interventions on the self-efficacy of stroke patients. This study employed a scoping review framework. Literature searches were conducted using databases including Scopus, CINAHL, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and PubMed. The keywords used were “stroke” AND “education” AND “self-efficacy”, limited to publications from the past 10 years. Articles were written in English and of the randomized controlled trial type. A total of nine articles were reviewed, which reported the use of technology-based media such as telephone, video, virtual reality, and computer devices in the follow-up care of stroke patients at home. The findings indicate that the use of information technology is effective in improving self-efficacy, health literacy, and the quality of life of stroke patients.

Abstract

Management Information Systems (SIMs) are a very important tool in helping managers make decisions. The information provided by the driver's license is accurate, fast, and easy to understand. In the world of work, managers are often faced with a variety of problems that require immediate solutions. This study aims to explain how driver's licenses help managers in making decisions. The methods used are literature studies and descriptive approaches. The results show that SIM not only speeds up the decision-making process, but also assists managers in analyzing problems, determining the best options, and minimizing errors. SIM also plays an important role in presenting data that supports organizational planning and strategy. With a driver's license, managers can work more efficiently, organized, and productively.

Abstract

The construction industry is rapidly evolving with complex work items, creating challenges in maintaining the completion of tasks according to the planned schedule. Detailed supervision is crucial to ensure the project proceeds according to the scheduling plan. This research focuses on developing the concept of Building Information Modeling 4 Dimensions (BIM 4D) in the process of controlling progress on a 3-story building construction project. The research begins with collecting data such as working drawings, the Bill of Quantities (BoQ), and the S-curve. The process starts with identifying the schedule, creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to determine the sequence of tasks, making a list of relationships between work activities, rescheduling using scheduling software to obtain a schedule in the form of a Gantt chart, and integrating the 3D model and Gantt chart through BIM 4D. The results of the study provide a visual sequence and weight of tasks with a planning schedule of 194 days. There is a difference of 24 days between the BIM 4D simulation and the schedule based on the S-curve.

Abstract

This research aims to find an easy way to use green screens in making learning videos to make it easier for educators to convey learning. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research. This research took data from lecturers or teachers at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. Data analysis through data collection through interviews and observations to the practice of making learning videos using a green screen. Learning video making activities use the video making stages from pre-production from story idea, synopsis, treatment script and full script. The production stage is the process of recording learning videos using a green screen background and collecting data in the form of images and writing. The third stage of post-production includes the editing stage, where the videos that have been taken are put together and everything that doesn't need to be removed by also editing the background using greenscreen to become the desired background.
