Abstract

The development of information communication technology (ICT) has made it easier for people to carry out activities. People's dependence on ICT has become greater, which impacts increasing per capita income, business efficiency, and costs. The impact of ICT causes the flow of goods and services to be more efficient so that economic growth can be faster. This study aims to analyze the effect of ICT on economic development across all provinces in Indonesia over the period 2012–2022. The data used in this study from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the DJPK or the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia and used Generalized Least Squares (GLS) model approach. The results shows the Information and Communication Technology Development Index as a proxy for ICT, government spending, and investment significantly affected economic growth in all provinces. The labor variable does not significantly affect economic growth. The investment variable has the power prediction on economic growth. Implication of the study the government needs to build digital infrastructure and  government budget is more focused on digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of accounting information systems on the effectiveness of accounts receivable collection at PT. X. The background of this research is based on the importance of the accounting information system in supporting the smooth billing process, especially in companies that implement a credit sales system. Even though the company has used an integrated system in managing receivables, there are still various obstacles such as data mismatches when making invoices, incomplete supporting documents, and late payments from customers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the accounting information system implemented has helped speed up the recording process, improve data accuracy, and facilitate the process of monitoring and collecting receivables. However, the effectiveness of the system is not optimal because there are still input errors and weak document control. Therefore, the company needs to improve internal control and ensure the completeness and accuracy of data so that the accounting information system can function optimally in supporting the effectiveness of accounts receivable management. Abstract

This investigation endeavors to delve into how Accounting Information Systems (AIS), mechanisms of Internal Control, and the prevailing Organizational Culture influence the overall effectiveness of corporate operations. Centered on PT Semen Indonesia Logistik, the study engaged 54 carefully chosen participants through purposive sampling, ensuring alignment with the research objectives. Data was gathered using a structured questionnaire employing the Likert scale, while analysis was conducted via multiple linear regression, supported by SPSS version 26 software. The findings underscore that AIS and Internal Control significantly shape corporate performance. This indicates that a well-integrated digital accounting framework, coupled with disciplined oversight systems, can propel operational accuracy, bolster accountability, and accelerate goal attainment. In contrast, Organizational Culture did not emerge as a statistically impactful factor—likely attributed to its insufficient integration into the day-to-day rhythm of business conduct. These insights call upon company leadership to deepen their reliance on technological systems and fortify internal controls, while simultaneously re-evaluating their cultural assimilation strategies. This research aims to serve as a guiding reference for shaping policies related to performance optimization and strategic resource governance within contemporary organizational structures.

Abstract

Food prices have an important role in maintaining economic stability and public welfare, as price fluctuations can have a direct impact on purchasing power and inflation. The manual process of recording and reporting food price data at the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Palu City leads to inefficiencies, data inaccuracies, and difficulties in tracking historical information. These limitations highlight the need for a structured system that can support accurate and efficient data management. This study applies a prototyping method to develop a web-based information system tailored to the needs of the institution. The development process involves continuous interaction between users and developers to ensure the system meets practical requirements. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. System functionality was tested using black box testing, while usability was assessed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The results indicate that the system's features, including daily price input, automatic average calculations, report submission, and approval workflows, function correctly. Users are able to interact with the system efficiently, and the SUS results show that the system falls into the acceptable usability category, indicating that it is easy to use. In conclusion, the development of this web-based information system improves the efficiency and accuracy of food price data processing and reporting. It provides a reliable tool for managing information within the department and supports better operational performance.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has fundamentally transformed how organizations manage their data resources. In today's digital era, data is no longer considered a mere supporting element but a strategic asset that determines organizational competitiveness and sustainability. Management Information Systems (MIS), when integrated with cloud computing technology, offers a modern solution to optimize data collection, storage, processing, and analysis in real-time. This study aims to examine the role of MIS in optimizing data resources through a qualitative literature review approach. The findings indicate that cloud-based MIS enhances operational efficiency, reduces infrastructure costs, facilitates cross-functional collaboration, and strengthens data-driven decision-making. Moreover, this integration supports small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and government institutions by providing affordable and scalable systems. Nevertheless, issues related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance remain critical challenges that must be addressed through strict data protection policies. This study recommends that organizations develop a cloud-based digital transformation strategy aligned with long-term MIS planning. Further research is suggested to empirically evaluate the effectiveness of cloud-based MIS implementation across various industrial sectors
