Abstract

An integrated geographic information system is a geographic information system that aims to facilitate the creation and integration of mapping data so that researchers from various backgrounds can present their research results in the form of a map and can be combined on a larger scale. In making an integrated geographic information system, the use of the maps box was chosen because the maps box is a tool for making mapping that is free of charge both in making mappings and displaying mapping results so; it can save costs because the number of accessors and mappings made will incur substantial costs if using a paid alternative. However, the Maps box has many shortcomings in terms of features, so we researched to integrate third-party applications to fulfill the features that need to be added in the maps box. To overcome the shortcomings of the map box, the researcher integrates the route feature of Google Maps, integrates the location details feature on Google Maps, and integrates Google Maps coordinate data via the Google Maps link, which can be stored in the system so that these features can be used in an integrated geographic information system. Integrating third-party applications can create an integrated geographic information system using a map box but can also have more features.

Abstract

The development of information technology is moving increasingly rapidly so its existence provides benefits and impacts on daily life. With the existence of information technology, it makes it easier to access information dissemination without knowing space and time. In terms of culture, information technology is one of the factors that influences the existence of local culture. Local culture, which is starting to fade, is influenced by the existence of information technology. To maintain culture, future generations are needed to continue preserving culture. Therefore, more in-depth research is needed that is targeted at the next generation, namely Generation Z, to find conclusions regarding the influence of advances in information technology on culture for Generation Z. This must be proven by research involving Generation Z as respondents. From the results of data collection, it is necessary to take the percentage and average of respondents' answers using a Likert scale. The Likert scale is used as a reference in research using quantitative methods. Using quantitative methods involved 79 respondents to conclude. It was concluded that Generation Z tends to frequently use information technology devices, meaning that Generation Z is more aware of renewable technology and tends to make less use of the presence of technology to preserve and maintain the existence of local culture.

Abstract

A library is a work unit of a particular agency or institution that manages library materials, either in the form of books or non-book materials, that are systematically arranged according to specific rules so that they can be used as a source of information by each user. Although books remain a valuable source of information, many faculties, especially in fields that require practicums, often face difficulties when courses are completed, especially for students who are late to class or absent due to reasons such as work or other commitments. This challenge is even more pronounced for students who are unfamiliar with the course, especially those without a basic education in the field. Additionally, this website is also expected to support students in learning independently after lectures have concluded. The method used in planning research on the video content development system for practical work at the Unwaha digital library is the Waterfall Model, which encompasses analysis, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance phases. In data collection, quantitative methods are employed, including questionnaires and embedded techniques to collect video data. The results of this study indicate that 50% of the respondents considered this video tutorial website to have a significant influence on their learning motivation. Additionally, 54.2% of respondents considered this video tutorial website effective in supporting distance learning.
