Abstract

A signature is a unique identity attached to a document, playing an essential role in verification and legal authentication. Legally, a signature represents the true authorization of the document’s owner. With the advancement of digital technology, signature pattern identification can now be performed not only manually but also with the support of computer-based systems. Recent studies in digital forensics and pattern recognition highlight the growing importance of automated signature verification to prevent falsification and ensure document integrity, especially within academic and administrative environments. This research aims to develop a web-based Digital Signature Classification Information System designed for use by administrative staff at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Darma Persada. The objective is to provide an accessible tool capable of distinguishing between genuine and forged digital signatures with higher accuracy and reliability. The system applies image processing techniques combined with automated classification methods to analyze signature characteristics and determine authenticity. Through this approach, the system reduces the dependency on manual inspection, which is often time-consuming and prone to human error. The results of the implementation show that the system is able to classify digital signatures effectively and can be operated easily by administrative personnel. Its deployment is expected to improve the security, validity, and accuracy of signed documents within the faculty’s administrative workflow. Overall, the system offers a practical solution for enhancing document verification processes and reducing risks associated with signature forgery

Abstract

The rapid rise of digital betting in Indonesia has led to significant economic impacts, particularly on household financial stability and the national economy. Although digital betting is illegal in Indonesia, the ease of access to digital platforms has led to its widespread growth, with transaction values estimated to reach IDR 327 trillion by 2023. This study aims to explore the economic impacts of digital betting and how Accounting Information Systems (AIS) can play a crucial role in managing and mitigating the financial losses caused by this phenomenon. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through literature reviews and secondary data analysis from official reports and trusted sources. The findings show that digital betting contributes to financial instability in households, increased debt, decreased work productivity, and the diversion of spending from essential needs. Additionally, this study highlights the importance of implementing AIS to monitor betting-related cash flows, increase financial transparency, and provide relevant data for policymakers to design preventive measures. The study suggests stronger policies to regulate digital betting and recommends leveraging AIS as a tool to foster economic stability at both individual and community levels.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the State Asset Management and Accounting Information System (SIMAK-BMN) at the Tigaraksa Religious Court. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The focus of the study includes user satisfaction, system quality, information quality, internal control, and auditor opinion. Findings reveal that SIMAK-BMN is effective in supporting asset management processes and generating reliable financial information. Users reported satisfaction in terms of system usability and functionality, although they highlighted a lack of formal training. The system ensures information security and has contributed to the institution’s ability to obtain unqualified audit opinions. However, technical issues during system updates were identified as a concern that may affect reporting timeliness and administrative order. The study recommends periodic evaluations and improved system readiness during updates to enhance operational efficiency. These findings offer insights for public institutions in managing state assets through digital systems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, terhadap Student Loyalty melalui Student Satisfaction, dan pada ebelajar (http://ebelajar.stiki.ac.id). Populasi dari program studi STIKI yang terdiri dari Manajemen Informatika Sistem informasi, Teknik Informatika,, dan Desain Komunikasi Visual. Terdapat 100 responden yang berpartisipasi mengisi kuisioner melalui google form. Menggunakan SEM-PLS dengan software SmartPLS 4.0 untuk menganalisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian baik System Quality, Information Quality dan Service Quality memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Student Satisfaction,, dan variabel Student Satisfaction memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Student Loyalty. Keterbatasan hasil penelitian ini yaitu tidak dapat digeneralisasi dan dapat berubah jika jumlah partisipan akan semakin banyak. Dan belum diterapkanya efek variabel mediasi maupun moderasi untuk memperdalam pengaruhnya terhadap student loyalty.

Abstract

Chatbot telah menjadi salah satu solusi yang efektif dalam menyediakan layanan informasi dan akademik secara interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan fitur chatbot berbasis website untuk pelayanan informasi dan akademik di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Pembuatan chatbot memanfaatkan platform dialogflow untuk pemahaman bahasa alami dan pemberian jawaban yang tepat. Data layanan informasi dan akademik terkait sekolah di Kabupaten Trenggalek diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem dan penambahan fitur chatbot, sehingga pengguna dapat dengan mudah memperoleh informasi yang dibutuhkan. Untuk memastikan bahwa program berfungsi dengan benar. Pengujian black box pada sistem chatbot dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa program berfungsi dengan baik. Selain dilakukan pengujian black box, untuk memperkuat hasil implementasi chatbot, dilakukan juga pengujian User Acceptance Testing. UAT dilakukan dengan melibatkan 40 responden warga masyarakat sebagai representasi pengguna potensial chatbot dengan 20 pertanyaan yang mengacu pada penggunaan fitur fitur yang berada pada chatbot dan website. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 93%, yang menandakan penerimaan yang tinggi dan kepuasan pengguna terhadap chatbot. Dengan adanya chatbot ini, masyarakat Kabupaten Trenggalek dapat dengan mudah memperoleh informasi terkini tentang acara, berita, lokasi, dan layanan akademik yang tersedia. Chatbot juga dapat mengurangi beban petugas dalam memberikan informasi kepada pengguna.

Abstract

Audit Sistem Informasi merupakan langkah penting dalam memastikan efisiensi, keamanan, dan kepatuhan suatu sistem informasi terhadap kebijakan dan regulasi yang berlaku. Penelitian ini menggambarkan implementasi audit menggunakan framework COSO pada Campus Information System (CIS) di Institut Teknologi Del (IT Del). Audit ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keamanan dan efisiensi pengelolaan informasi dalam CIS IT Del serta mengidentifikasi risiko yang mungkin terkait dengan keamanan data dan akses informasi. Metode penelitian melibatkan identifikasi risiko, penilaian risiko, pengendalian risiko, dan pemangkasan risiko. Dengan fokus pada aspek keamanan data, audit CIS IT Del menggunakan framework COSO dari Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO). Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dua kategori risiko utama, yaitu risiko terkait dengan keamanan data dan risiko terkait dengan akses informasi. Implementasi mitigasi yang efektif diperlukan untuk mengurangi potensi dampak negatif dan memastikan kelancaran operasi CIS serta keamanan data dan informasi secara menyeluruh. Hasil audit ini memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional IT Del dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis. Selain itu, audit berperan dalam mengidentifikasi dan mencegah potensi masalah terkait dengan etika dan standar dalam lingkungan IT Del. Implementasi framework COSO memberikan panduan penting dalam mengelola pengendalian internal, meminimalkan risiko, dan mencapai tujuan organisasi.

Abstract

Anugrah Fajar Rezeki is a palm oil processing company located in Merbau Dua village, Birem Bayeun sub-district, East Aceh Regency. This research focuses on designing a workshop inventory management information system . This research aims to design a system that is integrated with the workshop inventory management information system using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and implementing the ERP system. The conclusion of the research is that this workshop inventory management information system can help the company, where the previous company policy in recording goods management can only be done one by one manually so it takes a long time, after implementing the ERP system the data is easier to input and is immediately updated automatically for real-time goods management so it does not take a long time . In addition, the implementation of this workshop inventory management information system is very helpful in the process of collecting, managing data and making better decisions so as to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and development in operational processes at PT. Anugrah Fajar Rezeki.

Abstract

This study analyzes communication patterns in the dissemination of information on the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Tabalong Regency to Hajj pilgrims in 2025. The study is motivated by the diverse backgrounds of pilgrims in terms of gender, domicile, age, educational level, and occupation. These differences pose significant challenges in information delivery, requiring an adaptive and responsive communication system to ensure the safe, orderly, smooth, and comfortable implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 10 informants, field observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis is grounded in Communication Accommodation Theory to understand convergence and divergence strategies in conveying Hajj-related information to pilgrims with diverse backgrounds. The findings reveal five main communication patterns: (1) a combination of face-to-face communication and digital platforms, (2) a tiered hierarchical communication system mediated by local actors, (3) adaptive two-way communication, (4) multidimensional channel convergence, and (5) continuous negotiation between hierarchical organizational structures and the need to adapt to pilgrims’ diversity. The challenges identified include cognitive limitations among elderly pilgrims, gaps in digital literacy, limited time and resources, inter-agency fragmentation, and technological complexity that is not fully user-friendly for elderly pilgrims. In conclusion, the communication patterns used in disseminating Hajj organization information by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Tabalong Regency represent a comprehensive and adaptive communication convergence strategy. This strategy is designed to build trust and ensure shared understanding among highly diverse pilgrims, creating a dynamic, responsive, yet organizationally structured communication system. The study recommends enhancing the use of more elderly-friendly communication technologies, strengthening the role of local mediators, extending the duration of Hajj rituals training (manasik), integrating inter-agency information systems, and developing specialized assistance programs for elderly pilgrims with specific health conditions.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of EMIS as a management information system at MTS Bulu-bulu, Tonra District. This research applies qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data was obtained by interviewing school operators and teachers at MTS Bulu-bulu, Tonra District, as well as through research and documentation. The data source consists of primary and secondary data. Next, this research involves analysis stages, namely data reduction, data display, and concluding. The results of this research indicate that MTS Bulu-bulu, Tonra District has implemented EMIS in its management information system, including: 1). EMIS; 2). functions and benefits of EMIS in MTS Bulu-bulu, Tonra District; 3). challenges of implementing EMIS in MTS Bulu-bulu, Tonra District. Conclusions based on the implementation of EMIS in MTS Bulu-bulu, Tonra District, it is considered successful, providing benefits for all parties involved.

Abstract

This study explores the potential of artificial intelligence–based information systems in supporting educational processes within higher education institutions in Indonesia. The rapid adoption of digital platforms in academic administration and learning management has increased the need for intelligent systems that can enhance efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making. This research aims to examine how artificial intelligence–based information systems are utilized in educational contexts, particularly in relation to curriculum implementation, academic management, and institutional readiness. A qualitative research design was employed using semi-structured interviews with academic stakeholders, complemented by document analysis. The findings indicate that artificial intelligence–based information systems contribute positively to improving administrative efficiency, supporting systematic curriculum evaluation, and facilitating evidence-based academic decision-making. However, challenges related to system transparency, interpretability, and user readiness were also identified as critical factors influencing system effectiveness. These findings highlight that the successful integration of artificial intelligence in education is not solely determined by technological capability but also by organizational support and human factors. This study contributes to the interdisciplinary integration of information systems and educational research by providing empirical insights into the role of artificial intelligence in higher education. The results offer practical implications for institutions seeking to adopt responsible and effective artificial intelligence–based information systems.
