Abstract

Banda Aceh is a city where the tourism sector is growing rapidly. The tourists from outside Aceh, especially those who are visiting Banda Aceh for the first time, will have little difficulty in accessing tourist locations in this city because they do not have detail information about the locations. The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile-based Geographic Information System on tourism in Banda Aceh, which can help tourists in choosing the tourist location they want to visit and recommend the nearest route from the user's position to the tourist spot, by using the shortest popular route search algorithm, Dijkstra's algorithm. In addition, this application uses Haversine Formula in calculating the distance between two location on a surface of earth. The results of this study are dual-language android-based applications that can inform tourist locations and display the nearest route from the user's position to the tourist spot.

Abstract

Career decision-making and career self-efficacy are essential components of students’ readiness to determine their future educational pathways and career directions. However, not all students possess clear career goals or sufficient preparedness, which often leads to difficulties in selecting career options aligned with their personal potential. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of web-based career information services grounded in the RIASEC model in improving students’ career self-efficacy and career decision-making. A one-group pretest–posttest design was employed.  Purposive sampling was used to select 30 participants who met the predetermined criteria. The participants were then categorized into two analytical groups: a career self-efficacy group and a career decision-making group. Data were analyzed using a paired-samples t-test with SPSS version 23. The results of the analysis (0.00 < 0.05) indicated a significant increase in the mean scores of both career self-efficacy and career decision-making after the implementation of the web-based RIASEC-assisted career information service.  The findings suggest that the intervention was effective in improving both variables. However, the service demonstrated greater effectiveness in enhancing students’ career self-efficacy compared to their career decision-making.

Abstract

This article, entitled "Translation of the SIPANJIMAS Application Registration Guidebook (Banyumas Licensing Service Information System) into Chinese at DPMPTSP Banyumas," examines the translation process undertaken during the work practice at DPMPTSP Banyumas from October 10, 2021, to March 13, 2022. The primary objective of this work practice was to develop a Chinese-language version of the SIPANJIMAS application guidebook, facilitating easier online registration for investment, particularly for Chinese-speaking foreigners in Banyumas Regency. This initiative was prompted by the increasing number of foreign investors, especially Chinese speakers, in the region. The research employed a combination of observation, interviews, and internet browsing as data collection methods. The translation of the guidebook utilized the communicative translation method, which involves adapting sentence structures to align with the grammatical conventions of the target language (Mandarin). This approach ensures that Chinese-speaking readers can easily comprehend the guidebook's content. The outcome of this work practice is the Chinese-language SIPANJIMAS guidebook, which has been submitted to and is now utilized by DPMPTSP Banyumas.

Abstract

The rapid development of information system technology has influenced the business world, including trade, so that the dropshipping system has become popular; however, William Bookstore still conducts direct transactions on site without stock recording, so customers have to come to the store and book availability information is inaccurate. To overcome this problem, this study designed a web-based Book Dropshipping Information System using the Waterfall method—including needs analysis, ERD and UML design, implementation with PHP and MySQL, and testing—so that customers can search and buy books without coming directly, and the store can monitor stock easily. As a result, the system built is able to facilitate purchase transactions, record stock, and purchase history automatically, provide real-time monitoring, increase order transparency, and become an effective solution in supporting shopping convenience and store record management.

Abstract

This study explores user experiences and perceptions of the Regional Government Information System as an accounting tool in local governments. The main goal is to identify factors affecting implementation success and their effects on user satisfaction and organizational benefits. A mixed-method design was used, including a survey of 740 civil servants with 309 responses and interviews with 14 users in South Kalimantan. Data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling and thematic analysis. Findings show that information quality, content, and timeliness directly improve user satisfaction and indirectly enhance net benefits through this mediation. User satisfaction strongly predicts net benefits. However, system quality, service quality, and other technical factors have no significant impact. Interviews reveal ongoing issues with system stability, data processing, and support in the accounting and reporting modules. The study concludes that success depends on high-quality, timely information and user adaptation rather than technical features alone. Developers and local governments should prioritize content improvements and training to increase satisfaction and system value.

Abstract

This research presents the design and development of a web-based Zakat Information System at LAZISNU Pati aimed at improving transparency, efficiency, and accountability in zakat management. Zakat, a core Islamic obligation, requires institutions to uphold Sharia principles including amanah (trust), adl (justice), and hisbah (accountability). Existing digital platforms mainly address administrative processes, offering limited donor access and real-time monitoring. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach combined with the Waterfall model, the system was implemented with Python Flask, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Midtrans, and WhatsApp API integration. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. System evaluation employed Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with muzakki and admin participants. Findings indicate that the system effectively supports registration, payment, unique code generation, distribution management, and reporting, while users reported high satisfaction with usability and clarity. By incorporating traceable transactions, nisab-based validation, automated notifications, and dashboards, the platform operationalizes Sharia values and fosters ethical zakat governance. This scalable, web-based system provides a practical model for enhancing digital governance and public trust in Islamic social finance institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Inventory management at Hotel Guna Wijaya currently relies on manual ledgers, leading to inaccurate real-time data and risks of record loss. Key challenges include difficult stock monitoring and delayed reporting due to manual recapitulation. This study develops a web-based inventory information system to enhance transparency, stock accuracy, and reporting efficiency using the Waterfall model: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. System design utilized Unified Modeling Language (UML), while testing employed Black Box and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) focusing on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Results demonstrate that the system successfully prevents data duplication through a Double-Check Validation feature on item names and locations. The digitalization significantly reduces report generation time from days to seconds using a Reporting Engine integrated with WhatsApp and Email. Furthermore, the Safety Stock Alert feature effectively provides early warnings to prevent shortages. Overall, the system improves monitoring, maintains data integrity, and supports efficient managerial decision-making at Hotel Guna Wijaya.

Abstract

Medication adherence is a critical determinant in the successful management of hypertension, yet it remains significantly low in Indonesia, leading to increased risks of cardiovascular complications. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational intervention using a Hypertension Module based on the Information, Motivation, and Behavioral Skills (IMB) model in improving medication adherence among primary hypertension patients. A quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group was employed. The sample included [Insert Number] participants, divided into an intervention group and a control group. Data were collected using the 8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) and clinical blood pressure measurements. Statistical analyses were performed using Paired T-Tests and Independent T-Tests. The results demonstrated a significant increase in medication adherence scores within the intervention group following the module's implementation (p < 0.05), which correlated with improved blood pressure control. In contrast, the control group showed no substantial change in adherence behavior. The findings indicate that integrating information, personal/social motivation, and practical behavioral skills within a structured module effectively enhances patients' self-efficacy and long-term treatment management. This study concludes that the IMB-based module is a superior educational tool compared to conventional verbal education. It is recommended that primary healthcare facilities adopt this model-based module as a standardized part of chronic disease management programs to reduce hypertension-related morbidity and mortality
