Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of information and communication technology development and minimum wage policies on economic growth in North Maluku Province. As an archipelagic region, North Maluku faces geographical challenges in the form of limited accessibility and inequality of development between regions. In recent years, local governments have encouraged the acceleration of development, especially in the information and communication technology sector and the establishment of a minimum wage policy. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods, utilizing secondary data for the period 2012-2024 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. The variables used include the Information and Communication Technology Development Index (ICT-DI) and the Regional Minimum Wage (RMW) as independent variables, as well as Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) as dependent variables. The results of the study show that ICT-DI has a positive and significant effect on GDP, while RMW has a positive but insignificant effect. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on GDP with high explanatory ability. This indicates that increased access and utilization of technology has an important role in driving economic activity, while minimum wage policies have not had a real impact. Thus, strengthening digital development is a key factor in encouraging sustainable economic growth in the archipelago.

Abstract

Health data management at the village level in Tomohon City faces significant challenges, including limited human resource capacity, non-integrated systems, and manual data collection that hinders the planning of priority health programs. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to address these issues by establishing an information system and building the capacity of village officials, with the primary outcome being the creation of a sustainable Village Health Information System (SIK ELHAN). Methods: The study employed a participatory Training Management Cycle approach, consisting of four stages: (1) Training Needs Assessment to identify partner requirements; (2) Training Design to develop training programs and system architecture; (3) Training Delivery involving hands-on training, tutorials, and direct mentoring; and (4) Training Evaluation using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and impact. This methodology actively engaged partners throughout all stages. Results: The program successfully developed and implemented SIK ELHAN, a web-based system enabling structured and real-time recording and reporting of community health data. Thirty village officials and healthcare workers were trained, with 85% of participants demonstrating independent system operation capability. Evaluation results showed a 70% increase in participant understanding based on pre-test and post-test comparisons. The Village Government demonstrated strong commitment to sustainability by appointing dedicated administrators for SIK ELHAN management, supported by a 90% partner satisfaction rate. The participatory Training Management Cycle approach proved effective not only in providing the technical solution of SIK ELHAN but also in empowering partners through capacity building. This program successfully established a robust foundation for digital transformation of health data management at the village level, which is expected to support more effective data-driven health program planning and monitoring in Tomohon City.

Abstract

A significant challenge faced by students in Information Technology (IT) programs is the mismatch between their personality traits and career paths. Many students struggle to determine the right career trajectory in the IT industry, often choosing based on market trends or peer influence rather than considering the alignment of their personality with job requirements. The lack of a psychometric-based counseling system to help align personality with career choices further exacerbates this issue. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to align students' personalities with their career preferences. The research was conducted with a sample of 80 final-year students from the Information Technology and Systems program at Yadika Institute of Technology and Business Pasuruan. The findings revealed that the majority of students exhibited introverted personality traits, with INFP and INTP being the most common types. A statistically significant correlation was found between MBTI types and preferred career fields. For instance, students with INFP and INTP types leaned toward creative and analytical professions such as UI/UX design, software engineering, and data science, while ESTJ types favored managerial roles. Additionally, 73% of students reported high satisfaction with the career recommendations provided based on their MBTI results. This research supports the use of MBTI as an effective tool for career counseling, offering a more personalized approach to career decision-making.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effect of environmental uncertainty on managerial performance, with management accounting information systems (MAIS) as an intervening variable in Indonesian defense industry state-owned enterprises. A quantitative explanatory survey method was employed, using questionnaires distributed to managers, with the data analyzed through path analysis to test direct and indirect effects among environmental uncertainty, MAIS, and managerial performance. The results show that environmental uncertainty has a weak and statistically insignificant direct effect on managerial performance, while MAIS also has a weak and insignificant direct effect on managerial performance (path coefficients below 0.20 and significance levels above 0.05). In addition, environmental uncertainty does not significantly influence managerial performance through MAIS as an intervening variable, indicating that MAIS does not mediate the relationship between environmental uncertainty and managerial performance in this context. These findings suggest that other organizational and managerial factors, beyond environmental uncertainty and MAIS, may play a more dominant role in shaping managerial performance in Indonesian defense industry state-owned enterprises.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of accounting information use among food and beverage MSMEs in Jambi City, with environmental uncertainty as a moderating variable. The use of accounting information is essential for improving decision-making quality and ensuring business sustainability; however, many MSME owners have not yet utilized it optimally. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of business owners’ educational background, business scale, and accounting knowledge on the use of accounting information. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 99 MSME owners or managers selected using simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and moderated regression analysis to test both direct and moderating effects. The results show that educational background (β = 0.439; p < 0.001), business scale (β = 0.258; p < 0.001), and accounting knowledge (β = 0.254; p < 0.001) have significant positive effects on accounting information use. Environmental uncertainty significantly moderates the effects of educational background (β = −0.126; p = 0.014) and business scale (β = −0.126; p = 0.034), both in a weakening direction. However, it does not significantly moderate the effect of accounting knowledge (β = −0.036; p = 0.618). The model explains 75.2% of the variance in accounting information use (R² = 0.752). In conclusion, this study highlights that accounting knowledge is the most stable determinant, while environmental uncertainty weakens the influence of other factors. These findings imply that strengthening accounting knowledge through training is a key strategy to improve accounting information use in MSMEs regardless of environmental conditions.

Abstract

This literature review examines the development of Indonesian vocabulary in the digital era, focusing on neologisms and linguistic adaptation within information technology contexts. The study employs a qualitative literature review methodology, analyzing scholarly publications from 2020 to 2025 to understand patterns of vocabulary development, sociolinguistic factors, and integration processes in contemporary Indonesian usage. The analysis reveals five distinctneologism formation patterns: direct borrowing from English, hybrid formation combining foreign elements with Indonesian morphological structures, extensive use of acronyms and abbreviations, morphological creativity through affixation processes, and semantic extension of existing Indonesian words to accommodate digital meanings. Sociolinguistic factors significantly influencing vocabulary adaptation include generational differences, educationalbackground, urban-rural divides, social media platform preferences, professional domain requirements, and regional linguistic variations. Integration levels vary considerably across different contexts, with terms like "internet" and "computer" achieving high integration in formal settings, while newer terms remain primarily in informal usage. Comparative analysis demonstrates that Indonesian occupies an intermediate position in global digital vocabularyadaptation, showing more flexibility than languages with strong resistance policies but maintaining creative adaptation mechanisms that preserve linguistic identity. The study identifies significant implications for language policy and planning, highlighting tensions between prescriptive terminology development and descriptive usage realities. The research reveals substantial gaps in longitudinal studies, corpus linguistics applications, and psycholinguistic investigations of digital vocabulary processing. The findings contribute to understanding how local languages adapt to global technological advancement while maintaining cultural and linguistic identity in digital environments.
