Abstract

Pengujian kolimator merupakan factor yang cukup penting dan menjadi salah satu dalam parameter pengujian pesawat sinar X utnuk mendapatkan perijinan dari bapeten. Akan tetapi dilapangan, hal ini menjadi sedikit terabaikan karena tidak berhubungan secara langsung dengan produksi sinar-X, oleh karena itu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan pengujian sistem kolimator. Kegiatan ini bertujuan Untuk memberikan pelatihan bagi radiografer dalam memastikan kinerja sistem kolimator pada pesawat sinar X, dalam rangka upaya keselamatan radiasi pada unit pelayanan radiologi Rumah Sakit di Kota Semarang. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah radiografer di Instalasi Radiologi pada Rumah Sakit di Kota Semarang. Kegiatan dikemas dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang memungkinkan para peserta mempraktekan secara langsung, sehingga materi pengabmas diharapkan dapat lebih dipahami dan diterapkan di masing-masing pesawat radiologi oleh para peserta. Materi pelatihan meliputi penjelasan mengenai quality assurance dari pesawat sinar-X, khususnya system kolimator dan dilanjutkan dengan praktek pengujian secara langsung. Hasil akhir pengabmas adalah berupa buku petunjuk pengujian. Sebagai bentuk tindak lanjut dilakukan pendampingan bagi peserta untuk melakukan di tempat masing-masingsebagai bentuk dari upaya keselamatan radiasi.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan hal yang penting untuk mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan sertaditujukan untuk mengubah perilaku pasien dalam rangka mencapai kesehatan optimal. Salah satufaktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien adalah adanya komunikasi yang terjalin antararadiografer dengan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan gambaran komunikasiefektif dan menjelaskan pengaruh komunikasi efektif dengan kepuasan pasien di InstalasiRadiologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Kuesionerdibagikan kepada 50 orang responden yang komunikatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satuInstalasi Radiologi terbesar di Jawa Tengah. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dananalisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa humble merupakan faktordominan dengan nilai mean sebesar 9,48 ± 0,995. Hasil uji F menyatakan bahwa respect, empathy,audible, clarity, dan humble secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien dengan sig.0,000. Namun, hasil uji t untuk respect dan emphaty tidak terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikanterhadap kepuasan pasien. Besarnya kontribusi komunikasi efektif terhadap kepuasan pasiensebesar 78,1%.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai uji kesesuaian pesawat sinar-X telah dilakukan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis parameter uji kesesuaian kinerja generator dan tabung pesawat sinar-X merek Siemens di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Universitas Andalas menggunakan alat ukur RaySafe X2 R/F Sensor dan RaySafe X2 Survey Sensor yang dilengkapi dengan RaySafe X2 Base Unit mAs sebagai penampil nilai besaran terukur. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan meletakkan detektor pada jarak 100 cm dari tabung sinar-X. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu persentase error maksimal untuk uji akurasi tegangan  sebesar 0,67%, uji akurasi waktu penyinaran sebesar 1,4%, uji linearitas keluaran radiasi dengan nilai CL sebesar 22% untuk fokus besar dan 23,1% untuk fokus kecil, uji reproduksibilitas dengan nilai CV maksimal sebesar 0,000641, uji kualitas berkas sinar-X untuk tegangan 50 kV, 60 kV, 70 kV, 80 kV, dan 90 kV dengan nilai HVL untuk masing-masing tegangan sebesar 1,93 mmAl, 2,36 mmAl, 2,74 mmAl, 3,16 mmAl, 3,54 mmAl, dan uji kebocoran tabung maksimal sebesar 0,069 mGy/jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum pesawat sinar-X merek Siemens memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan mengacu kepada Perka BAPETEN No 2 Tahun 2018 dan dinyatakan dalam kondisi andal dengan perbaikan karena salah satu parameter uji yaitu linearitas keluaran radiasi tidak memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

Background: In the CTA examination of cerebral angiography at the Radiology Installation of Salatiga Hospital, the flow rate used was 5 ml/s, bolus tracking contrast media was placed in 2 different places, some radiographers used the internal carotid artery and some used the aortic arch as an indicator of ROI tracking. Image acquisition is done by adjusting the scan delay post injection of contrast media and pre bolus tracking, so that the difference in the placement of the tracking affects the scan delay time and the dose given to the patient. The purpose of this study is to determine the location of accurate tracking in terms of image information and radiation dose given to the patient.Methods: This type of research is descriptive with qualitative data. The research object is the patient who performs Cerebral CTA examination with tracking location on the interna carotid artery(ICA) and aortic arch. The research subjects were 2 radiographers and 1 radiologist. Data collection was done by interview observation method.Results: Research shows that in Cerebral CTA examination using ROI tracking in the ICA area, there is a risk of contrast media entering the blood vessels if the scan delay time setting is not right, while the ROI tracking setting in the aortic arch is safer if the patient moves the tracking location is still around blood vessels but the radiation given to the patient tends to be larger as the scanning area increasesConclusions: The use of tracking ROI in the area of the internal carotid artery and aortic arch on CTA Cerebral examination can be used according to the radiographer's expertise in finding these blood vessels, the use of the right scan delay time affects the scanning results produced.

Abstract

Background: Radiology is a medical service that uses all radiation energy modalities for diagnosis and therapy, including imaging techniques and the use of X-ray radiation emission, radioactive, ultrasound, and electromagnetic radiofrequency. The quality of health services is closely related to the results of health services, both medically and non-medically. The purpose of the study is to find out the factors related to the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of radiological installation services of Sidoarjo Hospital.Methods: Design observational research with a cross-sectional approach. The population of all radiology guests at Sidoarjo Hospital in East Java in January, February and March amounted to 3,439 respondents. Samples of radiology guests at Sidoarjo Hospital in East Java amounted to 358 respondents with purposive sampling techniques. Independent variables of payment method or type of insurance, social status and trust. Dependent variable is the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of service. The analysis used is univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis.Results: The results showed that there is a relationship between payment methods or types of insurance with the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of radiological installation services of Sidoarjo Hospital (p = 0.036). There is a social status relationship with the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of radiological installation services of Sidoarjo Hospital (p =0.048). There is a relationship of patient trust with the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of radiological installation services of Sidoarjo Hospital (p = 0.000). There are factors related to the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of radiological installation services of Sidoarjo Hospital which has an effect is satisfaction with a significance level of p = 0.000 and B = 0.150.Conclusions: This research is expected to increase knowledge or input and consideration in research related to the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of radiology installation services.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Backgound:  Digital radiography is an easy method of radiological examination, so many radiology technicians often use high exposure factors because they are considered to speed up when processing images, this can increase the risk of excessive radiation doses in patients, currently the exposure index (IE) is feedback to radiology technicians for optimal images and low doses for patients. Objective: evaluating Fujifilm (S-Value) exposure index and entrance surface dose (ESD) thorax posterior-anterior as an effort to increase patient radiation protection using the ALARA principle, Method: Data taken from samples with parameters 64 kVp 16 mAs to 94 kVp 2 mAs, ESD is measured using the thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD) chip and exposure index (S-Value) from Fujifilm's direct radiography device. Result: The relationship between S-Value and ESD has an exponential trend graph. The rise of S-Value will be followed by the ESD sequence. With the BAPETEN reference value of surface radiation dose 0.40 mGy, the minimum S-value must be achieved so that the patient's ESD does not exceed S-532 at ESD 0.39. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that Fujifilm's S-Value allows it to be used as an evaluation of the ESD values received by patients as an effort to increase patient radiation protection. Keywords:  Exposure index (S-Value), ESD, chest radiography, radiation protection

Abstract

Background: Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is one of the labor protection systems to prevent and reduce the occurrence of health problems and accidents caused by dangerous environments and ways of working. Preventing these hazards and damages, safety is a very important factor so that it can reduce the risk due to work in radiology installations by using radiation protection. The purpose of the study is to know the impact of APD protocol compliance on employee safety, health and performance.Methods: Research design uses qualitative deskriotive methods. The selection of informants was obtained from observations and interviews to employees of radiology installations of dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Hospital. The study used purposive sampling techniques. Research instruments use observation sheets, interview guidelines and documentation study sheets. The study was conducted in November 2021 at dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Hospital.Results: The results showed radiology unit officers had compliance with APD usage protocols that impacted employee safety and occupational health. Radiology Installation Officer dr. Saiful Anwar Malang has implemented employee work safety and has compliance with occupational health. Radiology Installation Officer of rsud dr. Saiful Anwar Malang has an excellent performance.Conclusions: The results of this study can be used as a reference by health workers to measure the level of compliance in the use of PPE, as well as to improve the knowledge and attitude of health workers in using PPE. The institution is expected to further increase supervision on radiographers, especially in working to be more disciplined in implementing the use of PPE.

Abstract

Health workers are workers who play an important role in hospitals, with daily work dealing with patients. Burnout syndrome is often found in professions that are human service, such as health workers. Burnout is exhaustion both physically, emotionally and mentally as a result of long-term involvement in situations with emotional demands. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence burnout of health workers at the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Service Installation at Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital. The type of research used is cross sectional with a quantitative approach. The study was conducted in July – September 2021. The population and sample were 66 health workers with total sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate tests using the chi-square statistical test with = 0.05. The conclusion from the results of this study is that health workers experienced high burnout by 36 pople  (57,1 %), 27 people low burnout (42,9 %), health workers with a working period of 5 years 53 people (84.1%), years of service <5 years 10 people (15.9 %), very high workload 33 people (52.4 %), high workload 23 people (36.5 %), low workload 7 people (11.1% %), low social support 40 people (63.5 %), and high social support 23 people (36.5 %). Based on bivariate analysis, it was found that there was a relationship between burnout and workload (p-value = 0.028, with PR = 2.563). The risk factors for burnout of health workers in this study were years of work, workload, and social support

Abstract

ABSTRACTAnkylosing spondylitis (AS) is a type of spondyloarthritis (SpA). Chronic progressive inflammatory process in autoimmune disease like AS may lead to fibrosis and calcification leading to loss of flexibility and fusion of the spine. The structures that are often involved are spinal joints, sacroiliac joints, tendons and ligaments in the surrounding area. MRI is the best way to detect abnormalities in the structures involved in AS, but the availability of MRI is still very limited. Until recently, classical radiology was the preferred modality for AS due to its easy availability and low cost. The role of conventional radiology is to help make the diagnosis, determine the location of the involved joints, monitor the progress of AS, and determine the patient's prognosis. Conventional radiology is used to assess the structure of the spine and sacroiliac joints which are included in the diagnostic criteria such as the Modified New York Criteria and the scoring systems that are often used such as the Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Radiology Index (BASRI), Modified Stoke Ankylosing Spondylitis Spine Score (mSASSS) and Radiographic Ankylosing Spondylitis Spine Score (RASSS) Keywords: Ankylosing Spondylitis, Conventional Radiology, BASRI, mSASSS, RASSS ABSTRAKSpondilitis Ankilosa (SA) adalah salah satu dari jenis Spondiloartritis (SpA) yang merupakan penyakit autoimun. Pada SA, terjadi proses inflamasi yang bersifat kronis progresif yang dapat menyebabkan fibrosis dan kalsifikasi sehingga mengakibatkan hilangnya fleksibilitas serta fusi dari tulang belakang. Sendi yang terlibat pada umumnya melibatkan sendi-sendi pada daerah aksial yaitu sendi tulang belakang, sendi sakroiliak, serta tendon dan ligamen pada area sekitarnya. MRI merupakan modalitas yang baik untuk mendeteksi kelainan struktur yang terlibat pada SA namun ketersediaan MRI masih sangat terbatas. Sampai dengan saat ini, radiologi konvensional merupakan modalitas pilihan pertama untuk SA karena ketersediaannya yang mudah dan harga yang murah. Radiologi konvensional berperan dalam membantu menegakkan diagnosa, menentukan lokasi sendi yang terlibat, memonitor progresivitas SA, serta menentukan prognosis dari pasien. Radiologi konvensional digunakan untuk menilai struktur tulang belakang dan sendi sakroiliak yang termasuk dalam suatu kriteria diagnosis seperti Modified New York Criteria dan sistem skoring yang sering digunakan saat ini seperti Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Radiology Index (BASRI), Modified Stoke Ankylosing Spondilytis Spine Score (mSASSS) dan Radiographic Ankylosing Spondylitis Spine Score (RASSS). Kata Kunci:  Spondilitis Ankilosa, Radiologi Konvensional, BASRI, mSASSS, RASSS

Abstract

Sistem penggerak yang terdapat pada instrumentasi medis banyak sekali contohnya, salah satunya adalah sistem penggerak pada meja radiologi. Meja radiologi tidak seperti meja pada umumnya tetapi memiliki fungsi tertentu dimana meja radiologi dapat digerakan secara sliding dan tilting.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem penggerak pada alat simulasi meja radiologi yang dapat digerakan secara sliding dan tilting. Sistem yang dirancang dan dibuat berbahan kayu lapis dan sistem penggeraknya menggunakan motor DC, untuk dimensi yang akan dibuat berdimensi lebar empat puluh centimeter, panjang enampuluh centimeter dan tinggi empatpuluh centimeter. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dipelajari model sistem penggerak yang yang mudah untuk dikontrol teteapi masih memiliki fungsi yang sama. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini akan dirancang dan dibuat sistem penggerak pergerakan meja radiologi yang dapat digerakan secara sliding dan tilting. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari proses penelitian ini adalah publikasi jurnal nasional terakreditasi bidang teknologi kesehatan dan sistem kontrol meja pasien radiologi fluoroscopy.
