Abstract

Radiology Fixation Tool is a tool made from a specially designed iron plate which is expected to be able to function which contains a report that can be used by the radiologist who handles patients with a femur pryection examination table for non-cooperative patients. This study was designed to obtain information about os femur fixation design assistance in the Radiology Installation of H. Padjonga Regional Hospital, Ngalle Takalar, to obtain information about fixation devices that are made very effective or effective for tool design, patient care, and required radiographic results. This research was conducted in April - May 2019. The type of this research is Deskritiptif where the population and samples that are the object of this research come from radiology radiographers at RSUD H. Padjonga Dg. Ngalle Takalar as many as 8 respondents Based on the results of data collection using a questionnaire in the Radiology Installation of H. Padjonga Hospital in Ngalle Takalar in terms of the Design Tools Obtained results of 100 percent or according to the excellent category of this tool, it is very easy, easy and easy to use for users. For aspects of the Patient Acceptance aspect, the results are 95 percent or in a very good category. While for the Radiographic Results aspect, the results obtained are 75 percent or in the Good category. Preferably the procurement of radiological fixation devices is a necessity. With a fixation tool, it can reduce image sharpness due to movement / thus helping radiographers to produce high quality photos.

Abstract

Services in the field of radiology which are health support services also need to maintain and improve the quality of their services. Radiology is one of the supporting units of health services in establishing the diagnosis of a disease and also needs to maintain and improve the quality of services appropriately and safely, both for patients (users), radiographers (officers) and the community or the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the quality of radiology services at the Center for Community Lung Health (BBKPM) Makassar. The method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population is all patients in the radiology installation of the Center for Community Lung Health (BBKPM) with a sample of 158 people. The results showed that the quality of radiology services in terms of timeliness was categorized as very high, namely 91.86%. The cost of Thorax photo examination services is relatively cheap and affordable and the service waiting time reaches a fairly high-quality value of 86.79%. The information aspect reached a high-quality value, namely 85.97%. The technical executor of the Thorax photo examination is carried out by a radiographer and the executor of the diagnostic results is a radiologist (radiology specialist) who has achieved a fairly high-quality score of 97.15%. Aspects of Human Relations have reached a fairly high-quality score of 87.00%. Environmental Aspects achieved a quality value of 97.57%. It is recommended that the Makassar BBKPM management provide a complaint box (suggestion box) in the radiology room to evaluate services.

Abstract

Background: Radiation Protection Officer (PPR) plays an important role in ensuring radiation safety supervision in diagnostic and interventional radiology facilities. To support this, high level competencies are absolutely necessary. The purpose of this competency analysis study is to obtain an overview of the competence of radiation protection officers working in diagnostic and interventional radiology facilities. Methods:  This study is a descriptive as well as quantitative research. The study was conducted by collecting primary data through filling out questionnaires with an assessment by 6 inspectors with respondents assessed as 40 PPR from 40 diagnostic radiology facilities spread across West Java, East Java, Batam, Riau Islands. Validity and Reliability testing was carried out in this study. PPR competency level analysis was carried out by testing statistical descriptions and testing the frequency distribution using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) for windows 21.Results: The results of PPR competence in 40 diagnostic and interventional radiology facilities by 6 Nuclear Safety Inspectors showed that the level of PPR competence in diagnostic radiology facilities was at a high level. This is related to the selection of nuclear safety inspectors who are in the (good) and (very good) rangeConclusion:  Based on the computational analysis using the SPSS version 21 program, it shows that the level of hard competency (technical competency) and soft competency of PPR in diagnostic and interventional radiology facilities is at a level above 3 or the average is at a level close to high. Further research needs to be done with a more comprehensive competency statement item variable and with a larger number of inspectors and PPR with a research time span long enough in order to describe the actual PPR competencies on the field.

Abstract

Background: Synovial sarcoma is a neoplasm that is clinically, morphologically, and genetically distinct. This spindle cell tumor shows epithelial differentiation that is not constant. Radiotherapy is one of the modes of treatment for synovial sarcoma cancer by using ionizing rays to kill or eliminate (eradicate) all cancer cells in the tissue. The goal of radiotherapy (radiation therapy) is to provide the required number of radiation doses precisely to the radiation target area without damaging the surrounding healthy tissue.Methods: The type of research used is an observational approach. With the patient object the remaining palmar synovial sarcoma. Data collection was carried out by direct observation of the patient. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data and documents, then drawing conclusions.Results: 3D irradiation technique in patients with synovial sarcoma cases at Dr. Kariadi Semarang is the administration of patient registration and doctor's examination with a plan of administering a total dose of 40 Gy with fractionation of 2 Gy per day and superficial brachytherapy or 30 gy electron. Making prints and checking the ct scan in the area of the hand then calculating the doctor and calculating tps. Verification of the ap field and then irradiating at an angle of PA (180º), AP (0º)Conclusion: 3D irradiation technique in patients with synovial sarcoma cases at Dr. Kariadi Semarang is patient administration, radiation planning, making molding and ct scan, contouring and tps calculations then doing field leverage and irradiation.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengujian tabung kolimasi pesawat sinar-X konvensional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui iluminensi lampu kolimator dan kesamaan berkas cahaya kolimasi pada pesawat tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di laboratorium radiologi jurusan DIII Radiologi Universitas Baiturrahmah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif experimental dengan langsung meneliti  ke lapangan. Alat-alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Lux Meter, Collimator Alignment Test Tool dan Beam Alignment Test Tool, dengan menggunakan Focus Film Distace (FFD) 100 cm. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian untuk uji iluminensi lampu kolimator adalah 124,75 lux masih berada dalam batas toleransi yaitu lebih dari 100 lux pada jarak 1 meter dan untuk hasil uji kesamaan berkas cahaya kolimasi adalah berupa penyimpangan sebesar ΔX sebesar 1 cm dan ΔY sebesar 1,3 cm dan deviasi sebesar 1,5 derajat. Nilai ini masih berada dalam rentang toleransi pengukuran NCRP (National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements) yaitu ΔX dan ΔY ≤ 2% FFD dan deviasi ≤ 30. Dengan demikian pengujian terhadap tabung kolimasi pesawat sinar-X konvensional ini telah sesuai standar KEPMENKES No.1250/MENKES/SK/XII/2009 tentang Pedoman Kendali Mutu (Quality Assurance) Peralatan Radiodiagnostik.Kata kunci: pesawat sinar-X Toshiba type E2739, uji iluminensi, uji kesamaan berkas kolimasi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan radiologi selain dapat memberikan manfaat juga dapat menimbulkan bahaya bagi pekerja radiasi. Untuk mencegah hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan aspek manajemen keselamatan radiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran penerapan manajemen keselamatan radiasi pada instalasi radiologi RSUD Ungaran. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 5 variabel dengan 16 komponen terdiri dari 48 poin. Sebanyak 29 poin (60,42%) terpenuhi dan sesuai dengan standar/ peraturan. Sebanyak 10 poin (20,83%) terpenuhi tetapi belum sesuai dengan standar/peraturan. Sebanyak 9 poin (18,75%) tidak terpenuhi oleh instalasi radiologi RSUD Ungaran. ABSTRACT The radiological activity not only brings benefits but also can damage radiologist. It can be prevented by implementing the aspects of radiation safety management. This study aimed to overview the implementation of radiation safety management in Ungaran Public Hospital radiology instalation. This research used quantitative descriptive method used observations, interviews with three informants, and documentation studies to collect data. The results of this study indicated from 5 variables (16 components consist of 48 ​​points. As much 29 points (60,42%) were fulfilled based on the standards. A total of 10 points (20,83%) were fulfilled but not based on the standards. A total of 9 points (18,75%) were not fulfilled.

Abstract

Repeat analysis is a systematic process to categorize repeated images and determine the causes of repeat, so that repeat can be minimized or eliminated. Radiology Facility at Awal Bros Panam Pekanbaru Hospital has a repeat percentage of digital images in March to May 2020 of 7.50%, which exceeds the rejection rate limit in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 129 / Menkes / SK / II / 2008. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of repeated digital image along with the repeat factors and the efforts made to decrease the repeat rate. The population in this study were all digital images on Computed Radiography that occurred in March to May 2020. The research sample was the number of digital images which were repeated during March to May 2020. Data obtained from the observation within a span of three months. Data analysis was carried out using a formula to be compared with the tolerance limit set by the Ministry of Health. Quantitative research with a descriptive approach and data collection methods carried out by means of survey. Quantitative research is research that connects or compares one variable to another The resulting data is numerical or numeric has a hypothesis as the initial assumption of research. Data collection is through tests and non-tests, data analysis with statistics measurment, and research results or conclusions can represent population. The results showed the percentage of repeat digital images at the Radiology Facility at Awal Bros Panam Pekanbaru Hospital in March to May 2020 was 7.50%. The repeat factors were patient position (66.5%), patient movement (19.9%), artifact (10.2%), and mechanical exposure factor (4.2%). Solution to decrease the repeat rate were to improve the communication between doctors and patients, to improve the radiographer’s ability, and maintanance and repairment of equipment periodically. The percentage of repeat radiography images at the Radiology Facility of Awal Bros Panam Pekanbaru Hospital in period of March to May 2020 is 7.50% and the factors that cause the repeats were patient position (66.5%), patient movement (19.9%), artefact (10.2%), and mechanical (4.2%).

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia yang ada di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Lancang kuning Pekanbaru masih belum memadai,pendidikan dan pelatihan yang masih jarang dilakukan serta kurangnya motivasi yang diberikan kepada petugas dan SOP yang belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk diketahuinya Analisis Kinerja Petugas DiInstalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Lancang Kuning Pekanbaru Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan metode kualitatif. Informan penelitian berjumlah 4 orang yaitu Informan Utama terdiri dari Kepala Ruangan Radiologi dan Petugas Radiologi dan Informan Penunjang yaitu Direktur Rumah Sakit dan Kepala Bidang Pelayanan Medik atau Penunjang Medik.  Hasil penelitian diketahui jumlah SDM yang ada masih belum memadai dan perlu adanya penambahan lagi, pendidikan dan pelatihan hanya berupa seminar-seminar saja karna tidak adanya dana dari rumah sakit untuk melaksanakan pelatihan, motivasi yang diberikan atasan hanya berupa arahan saja tidak diberikan bonus, reward atau insentif kepada petugas, SOP di Instalasi Radiologi sudah ada dan sudah berjalan walaupun belum 100% karena masih terdapat kendala pada alatnya. Diharapakan SDM di Instalasi Radiologi ditambah dan diberikan pelatihan dan pendidikan sesuai kebutuhan, serta peningkatan motivasi kepada petugas.   The existing human resources in the Radiology Installation of LancangKuning Hospital in Pekanbaru are still inadequate, education and training are still rarely done as well as the lack of motivation given to officers and Standar Operasional Prosedur  that have not been carried out to the fullest. The purpose of this research is to know the Performance Analysis of Radiology Installation Officer at LancangKuning Hospital Pekanbaru in 2020. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative method approach. There were 4 research informants, namely the Main Informant consisting of the Head of the Radiology Room and Radiology Officers and Supporting Informants, namely the Hospital Director and the Head of Medical Services or Medical Support. The results of the study revealed that the number of existing human resources was still inadequate and there was a need for more additions, education and training were only in the form of seminars because there was no funding from the hospital to carry out training, motivation given by superiors was only in the form of directives, not given bonuses, rewards or incentives to officers, Standar operasional prosedur in Radiology Installation already exists and is already running even though it is not yet 100% because there are still problems with the equipment. It is expected that HR in the Radiology Installation will be added and given training and education as needed, as well as increased motivation for officers.

Abstract

Keselamatan radiasi adalah tindakan yang dilakukan untuk melindungi pasien, pekerja, masyarakat, dan lingkungan hidup dari bahaya radiasi. Mengingat potensi bahaya radiasi yang besar dalam pemanfaatan sinar-X, faktor keselamatan merupakan hal yang penting sehingga dapat memperkecil risiko akibat kerja di instalasi radiologi dan dampak radiasi terhadap pekerja radiasi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang diantaranya: satu kepala ruangan instalasi radiologi, dua radiografer, satu petugas proteksi radiasi, satu fisikawan medis, dan satu petugas K3 Rumah Sakit. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan keselamatan radiasi belum dilakukan secara keseluruhan, dimana terdapat aspek yang tidak memenuhi standar peraturan BAPETEN seperti tidak dilakukannya pemantaun kesehatan sesuai ketetapan peraturan, tidak adanya pelatihan proteksi radiasi, kurangnya alat proteksi radiasi, tidak adanya surveymeter, kurang lengkapnya rekaman pelaksanaan kegiatan dan tidak adanya uji paparan potensial. Saran yang direkomendasikan adalah dilakukannya pemantauan kesehatan secara menyeluruh, diadakannya pelatihan proteksi radiasi bagi pekerja, penambahan alat proteksi radiasi, pengadaan surveymeter dan melengkapi rekaman pelaksanaan kegiatan di instalasi radiologi.

Abstract

Sudah dilakukan penelitian tentang dosis serap radiasi pada pemeriksaan foto thorax dewasa di Instalasi Radiologi RSUD Raden Mattaher, Jambi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis serap radiasi fotothorax yang diterima oleh pasien dengan dewasa laki laki ataupun wanita untuk menjelaskan kesesuaian nilai dosis serap yang diperoleh pasien dengan standar dosis yang dikeluarkan olehBadan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir (BAPETEN) nomor 8 tahun 2011.Penelitian ini terdiri dari pasien laki-laki dan wanita umur 20-40 tahun yang dikelompokanmenjadi 4 kelompok yaitu umur 20-25 tahun, 25-30 tahun, 30-35 tahun, dan 35-40 tahun. Dosis Serap Radiasi yang di hitung menggunakan rumus dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan program ANOVA berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan kelompok umur. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan dosis serap radiasi yang diterima oleh pasien dewasa laki-laki umur 20-25 tahun adalah 0,0164 mGray, umur 25-30 tahun adalah 0,0153 mGray, umur 30-35 tahun adalah 0,0154 mGray, dan untuk umur 35-40 tahun adalah 0,0147 mGray. Sedangkan untuk dosis serap radiasi diterima oleh pasien dewasa wanita umur 20-25 tahun adalah 0,0176 mGray, umur 25-30 tahun adalah 0,0158 mGray, umur 30-35 tahun adalah 0,0173 mGray, dan untuk umur 35-40 tahun adalah 0,0179 mGray. Secara garis besar nilai dosis serap radiasi yang diterima oleh pasien dewasa masih jauh dibawah 0,04 mGray, yaitu batas maksimal yang diijinkan oleh BAPETEN (Badan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir).
