Abstract

ICT has been a basic requirement and essential aspect of education in global context nowadays. ICT in the form of digital literacy becomes one of the skills that students must acquire besides words and numerical literacy in the 21st era of learning. This paper explores the progress of ICT integration in education, especially in English Language Teaching. It reviews several findings from empiric studies about the impact of ICT toward teaching and learning. It elaborates the chronological development of ICT in ELT starting from; CALL, TELL, LMS, and how it is integrated into Blended learning. Teachers’ perspective of ICT is also discussed to see how it affects ICT practices. At last, it expounds the recent research result of the implementation of ICT in the teaching of English in Indonesia. Keyword: ICT, ELT, teachers’ perspective, Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to design an effective cash accounting information system for an agrotourism hotel in Batu City. The data collection methods used are field studies and literature review, employing techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The important significance of this research is to enhance the cash receipt procedures for hotel room rental payments by incorporating additional digital payment methods through e-wallets and QRIS, thereby increasing transaction efficiency that benefits both the hotel and consumers. The significant importance of this research is to enhance the efficiency of payment transactions, making it easier for both the hotel and consumers. The qualitative analysis in this study aims to improve the accuracy of cash recording, reduce the risk of errors and misuse of funds, enhance internal control, broaden payment options, and provide practical guidance for hotels and consumers regarding payment and cash receipt procedures. With improved cash receipt procedures, the hotel will be better prepared to meet consumer needs and increase competitiveness in response to changes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of accounting information systems (AIS) as a mediating variable in the relationship between business strategy, specifically differentiation strategy, and the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study was conducted in Surakarta using a questionnaire survey method of 122 MSME actors from various types of businesses. The results of the analysis using PLS-SEM show that business strategy has a significant positive effect on MSME performance both directly and through the mediation of AIS, business strategy has a positive effect on AIS and AIS have a positive effect on performance. It has been demonstrated that AIS plays a significant role in assisting business strategy to attain a competitive edge and improved performance. This research provides practical implications for MSMEs to optimize business strategy and AIS implementation as a management tool that supports competitiveness as well as recommendations for policy makers to support the adoption of information technology in the MSME sector. The findings also extend the literature on the relationship between business strategy, AIS, and MSME performance, especially in the context of developing countries.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious problem that is often found in toddlers and school-age children. One of the factors that influence this is parental knowledge about stunting. Stunting socialization is carried out as an effort to increase public understanding regarding nutritional intake, growth and development, prevention, and handling of stunting. This article aims to disseminate information related to stunting to the Bojong Village Community, Karangtengah District, Cianjur Regency. The implementation of socialization is delivered using the lecture method through direct presentations. Pamphlets were provided during the socialization to facilitate material delivery to participants. The results of the cmmunity services showed that there was enthusiasm from participants towards the socialization activities, which was marked by the many questions asked and the creation of active discussions between participants. The support of the local government was also a factor in the implementation of this socialization activity effectively.   Abstrak Stunting merupakan masalah berat yang sering kali ditemui pada anak-anak usia balita dan usia masuk sekolah. Faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut salah satunya pengetahuan orang tua mengenai stunting. Sosialisasi stunting dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait asupan gizi, tumbuh kembang, pencegahan, dan penanganan stunting. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan informasi terkait stunting kepada Masyarakat Desa Bojong, Kecamatan Karangtengah, Kabupaten Cianjur. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi disampaikan dengan metode ceramah melalui presentasi secara langsung. Pemberian pamflet pada saat sosialisasi dilakukan untuk memudahkan penyampaian materi kepada peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan terdapat antusiasme peserta terhadap kegiatan sosialisasi yang ditandai dengan banyaknya pertanyaan yang diajukan, dan terciptanya diskusi aktif antar peserta. Dukungan pemerintah setempat juga menjadi faktor dalam terselenggaranya kegiatan sosialisasi ini secara efektif. Kata Kunci: Mahasiswa; Penyebab Stunting; Program Sosialisasi

Abstract

The Library and Information Science Study Program of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia has a vision to become a superior and characterful study program in the library and information science field. To achieve this vision, this study program organizes the Librarian Professionalism Internship Program as one of the mandatory programs for seventh-semester students. This program aims to provide students with direct experience in understanding librarianship practices, especially in school libraries. This program directly involves students practicing in the library and gaining experience in library management. The program results are then presented in writing using a qualitative approach and case study method with a focus on the application of ICT, organizing information, and user guidance. Through this program, students can learn various aspects of the implementation of librarianship, different from institutional libraries, and develop relevant technical (hard skills) and non-technical (soft skills). The school library itself has a strategic role as a means of supporting lifelong learning by providing easier access to information to students. The study results explain that the application of ICT in the SMAN 1 Bandung Library focuses more on the automation of library collections, while providing circulation services is still done manually.   Abstrak Program Studi Perpustakaan dan Sains Informasi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia memiliki visi untuk menjadi program studi unggul dan berkarakter di bidang perpustakaan dan sains informasi. Sebagai bagian dari upaya pencapaian visi tersebut, program studi ini menyelenggarakan Librarian Professionalism Internship Program sebagai salah satu program wajib bagi mahasiswa semester tujuh. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa dalam memahami praktik kepustakawanan, khususnya di perpustakaan sekolah. Program ini langsung melibatkan mahasiswa untuk langsung praktik di perpustakaan dan menggali pengalaman dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan. Hasil dari program tersebut kemudian disampaikan secara tertulis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus dengan berfokus pada penerapan TIK, pengorganisasian informasi, dan bimbingan pemustaka. Melalui program ini, mahasiswa dapat mempelajari berbagai aspek pelaksanaan kepustakawanan yang berbeda dari perpustakaan lembaga, serta mengembangkan kemampuan teknis (hard skills) dan non-teknis (soft skills) yang relevan. Perpustakaan sekolah sendiri memiliki peran strategis sebagai sarana pendukung pembelajaran sepanjang hayat dengan memberikan akses informasi yang lebih mudah kepada peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian menjelaskan bahwa penerapan TIK di Perpustakaan SMAN 1 Bandung lebih berfokus pada otomasi koleksi perpustakaan sedangkan dalam menyajikan layanan sirkulasi masih dilakukan secara manual. Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly impacted various sectors of life, including education. This activity was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel and involved 28 eleventh-grade students from the Logistics Engineering program. The main objective of the activity was to enhance students' abilities in accessing, understanding, and managing digital information systems to support technology-based learning. The implementation process was divided into three stages: the preparation stage (which involved identifying the needs of both students and teachers), the implementation stage (encompassing workshops, technical training, and intensive mentoring), and the evaluation stage. Data collection techniques included direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed a significant improvement in students' digital skills, as indicated by the increase in the average score. Students became more independent, confident, and active in utilizing digital platforms for learning purposes. Teachers also observed an increase in student engagement and participation during online learning activities. Reflections and feedback from both students and teachers indicated that a participatory approach combined with continuous mentoring proved highly effective in bridging the digital literacy gap.   Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap berbagai sektor kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel dengan melibatkan 28 peserta didik kelas XI Teknik Logistik. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengakses, memahami, dan mengelola sistem informasi digital guna menunjang pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Proses pelaksanaan kegiatan terbagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan (melalui identifikasi kebutuhan peserta didik dan guru), tahap pelaksanaan (meliputi workshop, pelatihan teknis, serta pendampingan intensif), dan tahap evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain observasi langsung, wawancara semi-terstruktur, serta tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan digital peserta didik, ditandai dengan kenaikan rata-rata skor. Siswa menjadi lebih mandiri, percaya diri, dan aktif dalam memanfaatkan platform digital untuk pembelajaran. Guru juga mencatat adanya peningkatan keaktifan dan partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan belajar daring. Refleksi serta umpan balik dari peserta didik dan guru mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif dan pendampingan berkelanjutan sangat efektif menjembatani kesenjangan literasi digital. Abstract

Technological developments have become a necessity for job optimization, be it desktop, web or mobile-based software, of course this really supports work with fast, timely completion, without spending a lot of effort and money. The Help Desk is a facilitator for the process of solving operational problems, through communication and interaction networks, internal and external, between the source of the problem (the client) and the potential / problem solving analysis capacity (experts) so that the Asset Management process becomes more effective in improving unit performance. Its operational implementation refers to the principles in the concept of Knowledge Management. Extreme programming is a method that lightens the burden or speeds up the software development process, the characteristics of this method are in accordance with this study which has a small number of team members. This method is flexible so that it can adapt to the changes that customers want. With this the user becomes easier for system development

Abstract

University X is a private university which has 8 faculties, namely Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Fikes, Law, Islam and Vocational Studies. One of the leading study programs at the University X is the Informatics Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering which is currently experiencing problems when the process of dividing space and hour schedules is still manual.The problems that arise include the accumulation of lecture hours for a lecturer who takes more than one course. Another problem is the disruption of the lecture process at the beginning of the semester due to the tentative scheduling system. The preparation of lecture schedules at the Faculty of Engineering, University X is still done semi-manually using Microsoft Excel, so it will take several days to make a schedule. Meanwhile, making a schedule must be done quickly and optimally because it is used for lecture activities, the solution that can overcome the above problems is by creating a Course Scheduling Information System Using Genetic Algorithms. The genetic algorithm is one of the most appropriate algorithms used in solving complex optimization problems, which are difficult to do with conventional methods. The nature of genetic algorithms is looking for possibilities from potential solutions to get the optimal for solving problems. The scope of all viable solutions, i.e. the objects between matching solutions, is called the search space. Each point in the search space represents a viable solution. The limitations of the built problem are: This system is operated by the administrative staff of the study program at the Faculty of Engineering, University X. This system is made using the Codeigniter framework, Responsive Bootstrapping (display) and MySQL as the database and the method used by this system is the genetic algorithm method. The final result of this research is that it is helpful and easy to apply as a tool in helping the optimization process of lecture scheduling in order to minimize schedule collisions in lectures at the Faculty of Engineering, University X

Abstract

In today's digital era, efficiency in supply chain management and logistics is the main key to maintaining business competitiveness. This article discusses the integration of Information Technology (IT) and Machine Learning (ML) in Internet of Things (IoT)-based logistics systems to improve operational efficiency. By leveraging IoT sensors for real-time data collection and ML algorithms for predictive analysis, the system is able to optimize inventory management, route planning, and preventive maintenance. The case studies discussed in this article show that the use of ML in IoT-based logistics systems can reduce delivery times, lower operational costs, and increase responsiveness to changes in market demand. The results of this study are expected to provide insight for system developers and logistics managers in implementing advanced technologies to address challenges in the modern logistics industry.

Abstract

Wet noodle products are a type of product that has a high halal critical point due to the complex production process and raw materials. A raw material inventory information system is needed to support more systematic raw material data collection. This service uses Halal Food Trust software to apply a raw material inventory information system. The system uses Microsoft Visual basic programming with consideration of the objectives of system development, where the scope of the data management system is integrated with the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office, which has been used routinely by SMEs. The results of the identification of the current condition of UKM Mie have carried out the management of raw material inventory; there are activities of recording raw materials at the time of purchase, storage, and use of materials in the production process carried out using a log book using Microsoft Excel. The Halal Food Trust, material inventory information system, seeks to increase the level of traceability at a high level with criteria, namely the ability to document electronically and be able to provide documents that can be printed.
