Abstract

Research Objective: The Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) improves the quality and efficiency of hospital services. However, incidents of health data leakage still pose risks to the security of patient information. A preliminary study at X General Hospital showed that SIMRS has been implemented in all service units. Nevertheless, an assessment of information security readiness has never been conducted, so potential risks to patient data have not been clearly measured. This study aims to determine the level of information security readiness of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) using the KAMI Index 5.0. Methodology: This study used a quantitative descriptive design. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation of security procedures, the KAMI Index 5.0 questionnaire, and supporting interviews. Data analysis was conducted by calculating scores for each assessment area and determining the readiness level using the readiness matrix of the KAMI Index 5.0. Results: The electronic system category obtained a score of 21, which falls within the range of 16–34, indicating a high level of dependence on electronic systems. The overall readiness score was 554, categorized as “Basic Framework Fulfillment,” indicating that security controls exist but are not consistently implemented. Conclusion: The hospital is still considered not ready because it has not reached the minimum score of 647 based on the KAMI Index 5.0. Therefore, improvements are needed, particularly in risk management, governance framework, and asset management to improve information security readiness.

Abstract

Industri konstruksi memiliki tingkat kompleksitas yang tinggi sehingga membutuhkan estimasi biaya dan perencanaan waktu yang akurat untuk mencegah pemborosan material, pembengkakan biaya, serta keterlambatan proyek. Building Information Modeling (BIM) merupakan teknologi pemodelan digital 3D terintegrasi yang mampu menghasilkan data volume, estimasi biaya, dan penjadwalan secara lebih presisi. Penelitian ini membahas penggunaan konsep Building Information Modeling dalam menganalisis dan membandingkan volume pekerjaan struktur, estimasi biaya, serta durasi pelaksanaan pekerjaan. Pemodelan elemen struktur dibuat menggunakan Autodesk Revit untuk memperoleh volume pekerjaan secara otomatis melalui Quantity Take Off (QTO), sedangkan estimasi biaya diolah menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Penjadwalan disusun melalui Microsoft Project dan disimulasikan dalam bentuk 4D menggunakan Autodesk Navisworks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BIM mampu memberikan volume pekerjaan yang lebih akurat dengan selisih volume beton sebesar 0,16% dan volume pembesian 0,12% jika dibandingkan metode konvensional. Perbedaan tersebut berdampak pada selisih biaya pekerjaan beton sebesar Rp 3.785.493,55 dan pekerjaan pembesian sebesar Rp 7.401.634,03. Selain itu, metode BIM menghasilkan total durasi pekerjaan struktur selama 157 hari, yang terintegrasi secara langsung dengan model digital sehingga memudahkan proses koordinasi dan evaluasi jadwal proyek. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan BIM terbukti dapat memberikan data volume yang lebih akurat, memudahkan koordinasi jadwal, serta meningkatkan ketepatan dan efisiensi proses perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan dibandingkan metode konvensional

Abstract

The rapid growth and pervasive integration of digital technology in global sectors have significantly increased the vulnerability of organizational data, placing a paramount importance on information security, privacy preservation, and strict legal compliance. This study aims to examine the systemic relationship between these three critical dimensions within modern digital ecosystems, identifying core vulnerabilities and assessing regulatory efficacy. The research employs a qualitative methodology through a systematic literature review of highly credible scientific publications indexed between 2022 and 2024. The empirical findings indicate that weak database encryption architecture, low user cybersecurity awareness, and inconsistent legal enforcement frameworks are the primary socio-technical factors contributing to massive data breaches and proliferating cybercrimes. Furthermore, strict alignment with contemporary data protection regulations plays an indispensable role in safeguarding user privacy and compelling organizations to adopt proactive security posturing. However, a significant enforcement gap remains between comprehensive legal provisions and practical execution capabilities, particularly within public institutions and small-scale business sectors. This study highlights the urgent need for integrated, triple-helix collaborative strategies that combine technological innovations, comprehensive institutional policy frameworks, and continuous user awareness education to build a secure, resilient, and trusted digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Background: This research is motivated by the low adoption rate of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based information systems in the insurance claim process, particularly Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS), even though these systems are designed to improve efficiency and consistency in decision-making. The main problems lie in the lack of user trust, limited training, and the role of leadership in supporting digital transformation. Objective: Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors influencing the intention to use insurance claim information systems using a modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach, expanded with the variables of Trust, Transformational Leadership, and Training. Methods: This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method targeting Claim Adjusters at the insurance company under study. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using a structural model to test the relationships between variables, including Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Trust, Transformational Leadership, Training, Intention to Use, and Actual System Usage. Results: The results show that Transformational Leadership positively affects Trust, Trust significantly affects Intention to Use, and Training affects Perceived Ease of Use. Furthermore, Perceived Ease of Use influences Perceived Usefulness, which ultimately impacts Intention to Use and the actual usage of the system. These findings confirm that human and organizational factors play a crucial role in the successful implementation of technology, in addition to the technical factors of the system itself. Conclusion: In conclusion, the successful adoption of AI-based information systems in the insurance industry is determined not only by technological sophistication but also by the level of user trust, the effectiveness of training, and the support of transformational leadership.

Abstract

Climate change has become one of the major challenges affecting agricultural productivity and sustainability. To support climate change adaptation, the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development developed the Integrated Cropping Calendar Information System (ICCIS). However, the success of technological innovation is determined not only by its technical quality but also by users’ perceptions of innovation characteristics. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between innovation characteristics and the adoption of ICCIS among agricultural extension workers in Riau Province. The research was conducted in Siak Regency and Kepulauan Meranti Regency involving 44 agricultural extension workers as respondents. A quantitative approach supported by qualitative data was employed. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman Rank Correlation. The results showed that relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, observability, and trialability were significantly related to ICCIS adoption. Trialability and observability exhibited the strongest relationships with extension workers’ understanding and utilization of ICCIS. The findings indicate that innovations perceived as easy to try and whose benefits can be directly observed are more likely to be adopted. This study contributes to the diffusion of innovation literature by demonstrating the importance of innovation characteristics in promoting agricultural information technology adoption among extension workers. Strengthening practical demonstrations and improving system accessibility are recommended to increase ICCIS adoption.

Abstract

Nutrition literacy and tools for calculating individual energy needs remain limited among adolescents and adults, potentially hindering balanced diet implementation in daily life. This study aims to develop SehatMate, a web-based nutrition system integrating Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) calculations with dietary recording and a food composition database. An Agile software engineering approach was used with iterative planning, UML-based design, web framework and MySQL implementation, followed by testing, documentation, and deployment. BMR is calculated using the Harris–Benedict equation, while TDEE is derived from an activity factor. Food composition data from the Indonesian Food Composition Table were integrated into the system. System validation included comparison with manual calculations and black-box testing of user and admin functions across devices and browsers. The results show that SehatMate provides modules for registration, profile management, energy requirement calculation, food selection, daily intake recording, and nutrient adequacy recap. Findings indicate that system-generated BMR and TDEE values are consistent with manual calculations, and functional testing confirms system reliability across platforms. In conclusion, the system meets functional requirements for supporting nutrition education and dietary planning; however, further development is required to expand the nutrient database, improve personalization, and evaluate usability in real-user settings.

Abstract

Information technology is developing at a rapid pace, affecting the practice of accounting and, by extension, auditing. This study aims to measure the correlation and implications of information technology mastery in the learning process of auditing financial statements. Data collection employs both primary and secondary data. Primary data were gathered through questionnaires, while secondary data were derived from academic records. Data processing was carried out using regression analysis with the aid of SPSS software. The quantitative findings indicate that, when examined simultaneously, information technology mastery, learning motivation, and perception of professional ethics do not all significantly influence auditing learning among accounting students. Specifically, information technology mastery does not have a significant effect on auditing learning, learning motivation similarly does not have a significant effect, while professional ethics has a positive and significant effect on auditing learning. The qualitative findings further reveal that auditing learning practices have not been widely integrated with information technology, as auditing courses tend to emphasize manual conceptual understanding, standards-based audit procedures, and case study reports. Combining the quantitative and qualitative findings, it can be concluded that the success of auditing learning is not solely determined by motivation or technology mastery but is more fundamentally shaped by the internalization of professional ethical values.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out why the quality of development information on the Teluk Bintuni Regency local government website is not optimal and what factors affect the lack of quality of development information on the Teluk Bintuni Regency government website. This research method is descriptive research to depict or describe the problem regarding the quality of regional development information on the website of the local government of Teluk Bintuni Regency. The subject of this research is the Department of Transportation, Informatics, and Communication. The results of observations indicate that the quality of regional development information on the website is not optimal, as evidenced by the infrequent updating of development news content and ineffective technical management from data collection to information presentation. The factors contributing to this suboptimal management include inadequate budget allocation, the absence of standard operating procedures (juklak/juknis) as implementation guidelines, poor inter-agency coordination, limited government attention, unsystematic work schedules, insufficient facilities and infrastructure, a shortage of management personnel, low staff competency, and a lack of understanding regarding website management. This study concludes that human resources, competence, and motivation significantly influence the quality of regional development information on the Teluk Bintuni Regency Government website.

Abstract

PT Botto Global Mandiri is a company engaged in fire safety systems with a focus on procurement, inspection, and management of Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR). The management of customer data, fire extinguishing data, and refill data that is still done manually using paper forms causes data inaccuracies, service delays, and difficulties in tracking fire extinguishing history. This research aims to analyze the conditions of fire extinguisher data management, design and build a web-based information system with QR Code integration, and implement and evaluate the system in improving fire extinguisher documentation. The research uses an applied research approach with the Waterfall development method which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database and includes three interintegrated user modules, namely Admin, Customer, and Technician. The results of the study show that the system successfully integrates customer data management, generates a unique QR Code for each fire extinguisher unit, scheduling inspections, filling out digital inspection forms through QR Code scanning, report verification, and reporting to management in real-time. Testing with the Black Box Testing method shows that all features are valid according to the specifications of the needs. Thus, the application of web technology and QR Codes has been proven to increase data accuracy, inspection process efficiency, and ease of tracking fire extinguishing history at PT Botto Global Mandiri.

Abstract

Perkembangan media digital telah meningkatkan intensitas penggunaan media sosial dalam lingkungan keluarga, termasuk pada kelompok ibu rumah tangga. Kondisi tersebut menghadirkan tantangan baru berupa meningkatnya penyebaran hoaks, rendahnya kemampuan verifikasi informasi, dan ancaman terhadap keamanan informasi keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran program literasi media bagi ibu rumah tangga melalui penguatan hoax resistance, digital confidence, dan family information safety. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei eksplanatori. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada ibu rumah tangga pengguna media digital yang aktif menggunakan media sosial dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan antarvariabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat hoax resistance ibu rumah tangga berada pada kategori sedang, terutama pada aspek verifikasi informasi dan identifikasi berita palsu. Digital confidence responden berada pada kategori sedang menuju tinggi, namun masih ditemukan keterbatasan dalam penggunaan fitur keamanan digital dan perlindungan data pribadi. Family information safety juga berada pada kategori sedang karena sebagian responden belum menerapkan pengamanan informasi keluarga secara optimal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hoax resistance dan digital confidence berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap family information safety. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa program literasi media berbasis keluarga penting dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, ketahanan terhadap hoaks, dan keamanan informasi digital dalam lingkungan rumah tangga.
