Abstract

Operational management in small and medium-scale agricultural enterprises is commonly conducted manually, leading to inaccuracies in record-keeping, limited traceability of cultivation cycles, and inconsistencies in financial reporting. This study aims to develop a web-based agricultural management information system that integrates planting, harvesting, labor management, and financial processes at Okazakki Farm. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development method with iterative prototyping, while system requirements were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was implemented using a web-based framework and a relational database. The implementation results demonstrate that the system is capable of validating field block availability, recording harvest activities along with associated labor, updating inventory levels, and automatically generating income and expense records. Black-box testing results indicate that all core system functionalities operate in accordance with user requirements. This research contributes to supporting the digitalization of agricultural enterprises through end-to-end integration of operational and financial processes.

Abstract

The manual graduation administration process causes data errors, incomplete documents, and legal risks such as diploma revocation. This study aims to develop a web-based graduation document information system to automate final project document verification and improve graduation administration accuracy and efficiency. The study used the waterfall method, including requirements analysis, database and interface design, implementation with PHP and MySQL, and black-box testing. The system features student data management, an 8-document checklist (including file upload), automation of eligibility status, a statistical dashboard, and three report levels. Testing on 47 scenarios achieved a 100% success rate. The web-based system effectively improves graduation data accuracy, eliminates human error, and supports digital transformation of academic services. Further development requires adding student roles and automatic notifications.

Abstract

This research aims to design an integrated inventory information system with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, equipped with safety stock and reorder points, to assist stores in optimizing inventory control. The EOQ method is used to determine the number of orders that are economical so that it can minimize the total cost of inventory. The developed system not only calculates EOQ, but also manages inventory data in real-time, provides notifications of near-expired products, and re-order recommendations. This study fills the gap from previous studies that are still limited to semi-manual or unintegrated systems. The design results show that the EOQ-based information system is able to improve the efficiency of inventory management, reduce the risk of overstock and stock shortages, and support more accurate decision-making. Thus, this system is expected to help UD Bunda Ida in providing optimal service to consumers while increasing business profits.

Abstract

Manual diploma service management often causes delays and limits students in obtaining real-time information about their application status. This study aims to design and implement a web-based diploma service management system that provides integrated and accessible administrative services. The system supports multiple user roles, allowing students to submit diploma requests, upload required documents, and monitor application status, while administrators verify documents and validate academic data. The development process follows a structured software development method consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Functional testing shows that all system features operate according to user needs. The resulting system enables structured diploma processing, accurate data verification, real-time status monitoring, and secure digital record management. The implementation of this system improves efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of diploma services and supports the digital transformation of academic administration.

Abstract

The management of campus facilities plays an important role in supporting academic and non-academic activities in higher education institutions. However, facility management processes are often conducted separately and are not fully integrated, resulting in delays in data processing, limited transparency, and difficulties in generating usage reports. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system to improve transparency and afficiency in campus facility management.the system was developed using the waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stage. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and document analysis related to facility management processes. The resulting system is capable of managing facility data, borrowing and returning processes, maintenance records, reporting features, and master data with role-based access control for administrators. Functional testing was conducted using black-box testing to ensure that all system features operate according to predefined requirements. The results show that the system functions properly and support more structured, transparent, and well-documented facility management processes. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance efficiency, reduce miscommunication, and support decision-making in campus facility management

Abstract

This study aims to compare risk mitigation strategies for asymmetric information in Mudharabah and Musyarakah financing for MSMEs implemented by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Salatiga Branch and BMTs in Salatiga. This research employs a qualitative approach with a comparative case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with financing officers and managers, analysis of financing procedure documents, and observation of customer monitoring practices. The findings show that BSI emphasizes structural mitigation through feasibility analysis, collateral substitutes, financial reporting, and digital monitoring systems. In contrast, BMTs rely more on cultural mitigation through personal approaches, social reputation, intensive mentoring, and spiritual values. The comparison indicates that structural mitigation is stronger in terms of procedural certainty and asset protection, while cultural mitigation is more adaptive to the informal characteristics of micro-enterprises. This study concludes that a hybrid model combining banking prudential standards and community-based supervision may strengthen profit-sharing financing for MSMEs.

Abstract

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) in the Philippines is mandated to disseminate information and communicate disaster risks to the public. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the CDRRMO's information dissemination efforts in the occurrence of a typhoon in a barangay in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. Using a correlational research design, a survey was conducted with 93 residents to assess their level of awareness of information disseminated by the CDRRMO before, during, and after a typhoon. The results indicated that respondents' awareness of the CDRRMO's initiatives before, during, and after the typhoon was moderate. A significant finding showed that respondents showed a higher level of awareness regarding information disseminated after the typhoon compared to before and during the event. The study also found a correlation between the respondents' awareness and the CDRRMO's effectiveness in disseminating information. The study concluded that to improve public awareness and enhance communication, the CDRRMO should increase the use and distribution of accessible print materials, particularly at the barangay level. That highlights how effective communication is crucial for mitigating risks in the aftermath of a disaster, especially at the grassroots levels.

Abstract

Inventory is a critical component in business operations, particularly in the Food and Beverages (F&B) sector, which demands accurate management to mitigate the risks of stockouts and overstocking. However, many MSMEs still rely on conventional methods based on subjective assumptions, which are prone to errors and unable to accommodate demand fluctuations. This research aims to develop a web-based raw material stock forecasting information system integrated with the Single Moving Average (SMA) method to enhance inventory management efficiency. The system development follows a prototyping approach, encompassing data collection, quick design using UML, prototype construction using PHP Laravel and Python, evaluation, and system refinement. The dataset utilized consists of 12 periods of monthly financial reports from Benjiro Sushi, Lamper branch. Accuracy evaluation was conducted using MAPE, MSE, and RMSE metrics. The results indicate that the application of SMA without data pre-processing resulted in a high error rate (MAPE 77.25%). However, after implementing pre-processing techniques—including backward interpolation, outlier capping, and iterative smoothing—the accuracy improved significantly, with MAPE values ranging between 20.4% and 21.0%. The developed system provides automated and real-time stock predictions, facilitating more precise, efficient, and structured procurement decision-making. Thus, this system is considered effective in addressing inventory challenges within the F&B sector.
