Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the design of an integrated information system that supports the quality assurance of early childhood education (PAUD) collaboratively. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the study screened and examined 12 scientific articles from the Scopus database published between 2015 and 2025. The study process follows the PRISMA 2020 guidelines with the stages of identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and inclusion. The results of the thematic analysis show five main themes in the integration of the quality and information system of early childhood education, namely: institutional technical efficiency, information security and risk management, documentation social practices, institutional collaboration, and ethical and environmental dimensions. This study found that most PAUD information systems are still administrative and do not fully support participation, pedagogical reflection, and collaborative governance. This research contributes to the development of an integrative, participatory, and contextual information system-based quality management model of early childhood education. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for policy and practice development at the institutional and government levels, as well as open up space for further research based on local implementation.

Abstract

Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) have become a prominent approach for image generation; however, they often suffer from training instability, mode collapse, and limited controllability of generated outputs. This study investigates the role of mutual information in improving generative modeling through a comparative analysis of Vanilla GAN, Conditional GAN (CGAN), and InfoGAN. Experiments were conducted using two image datasets with different levels of complexity, namely MNIST and Anime Face, under comparable training configurations. The evaluation focused on training behavior, convergence characteristics, generated image quality, and latent representation learning. The results revealed notable differences among the evaluated models. Vanilla GAN exhibited unstable convergence behavior at higher training epochs, while CGAN provided conditional control over generated outputs but did not fully mitigate training instability. In contrast, InfoGAN maintained more balanced generator and discriminator loss dynamics and produced visually consistent outputs across both datasets. Furthermore, latent code manipulation experiments showed that InfoGAN learned more structured and interpretable latent representations, enabling controllable feature variation in generated images. These findings indicate that incorporating mutual information improves representation learning, controllability, and training stability in GAN-based image generation. This study provides an empirical comparison of GAN, CGAN, and InfoGAN under a unified experimental framework and demonstrates that mutual information regularization contributes to improved training stability, controllable generation, and more interpretable latent representations. The findings highlight the potential of information-theoretic regularization for enhancing generative modeling performance.

Abstract

Stunting is a public health problem that has a long-term impact on reducing the quality of human resources. Ngemplak District recorded 821 stunting cases among children under five in 2024, making it the area with the highest stunting burden in Boyolali Regency. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution patterns of stunting prevalence based on the accessibility of health facilities and basic immunization coverage using a Geographic Information System approach. The research design is descriptive quantitative with an ecological spatial approach using a total population of 821 cases spread across 12 villages. The analysis was carried out through mapping stunting prevalence per village, immunization coverage overlay, 1 km radius health facility buffering using QGIS 3.34, as well as global spatial autocorrelation (Global Moran's I) and local spatial autocorrelation (LISA) using GeoDa. The highest stunting prevalence was found in Sobokerto Village (16.3%), Ngargorejo (15.9%), and Manggung (15.1%), while the lowest prevalence was recorded in Giriroto Village (6.4%). Two villages recorded immunization coverage below the national target of 90%, namely Sawahan (88.5%) and Giriroto (79.4%). Buffering analysis results show that 10 out of 12 villages are within the reach of health facilities, while Manggung and Ngargorejo villages are outside the 1 km radius. The Global Moran's I value of -0.0637 (pseudo p-value = 0.3750) indicates a globally random spatial distribution pattern. LISA analysis identified Manggung Village as a high-low spatial outlier (p = 0.05), indicating significant local spatial correlation in that area. This study concludes that stunting determinants are local and spatially independent, requiring contextual intervention strategies per village, prioritizing Manggung and Ngargorejo villages through expanded health facility reach, and Sobokerto Village through specific local risk factor approaches.
