Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based public complaint information system named SIPMAS (Sistem Informasi Pengaduan Masyarakat). Previously, municipal and infrastructural grievances in target community sectors were communicated through physical paperwork or unstructured short messaging services, causing immense delays, loss of data tracking, and a lack of transparency. The system was engineered using the Laravel framework, PHP, and a MySQL relational database following the Model-View-Controller (MVC) software design pattern. System evaluation was conducted using functional Black Box testing and deployment response tracking metrics. The results indicate that the SIPMAS portal successfully provides a centralized community environment featuring structured grievance logging, automated urgency sorting, and status validation tracking logs, while offering an administrative control dashboard for comprehensive mitigation management. This digital architecture assists regional administrators in processing neighborhood infrastructure issues more transparently and efficiently, thereby enhancing community administrative accountability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of information services with modelling techniques assisted by film media to improve understanding in developing entrepreneurial abilities of students in Palangka Raya 2 Vocational High School. The research methodology used was an experiment, and the test used was one group pretest-posttest. Sampling is determined by random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, and scale of entrepreneurial understanding. The results of the Paired-Sample T Test show that knowledge of entrepreneurs has increased, the first average of 71.13 to 87.06 with the average number of increases of 16. The results of the t-test are 5.807, and the T-table has a significant level of 0, 05 which is 2,048. Ha is accepted if T is calculated ≥ T-table. T count (5.807) is greater than T-table (2.048), so Ha is received, and Ho is rejected. It means "Information Services With Modeling Techniques Assisted by Film Media To Increase Understanding in Developing Entrepreneurial Abilities of Students in Palangka Raya 2 Vocational High School". The results of the analysis show that the thirty-two students in the research subject experienced an increase in the level of understanding of the entrepreneur before the intervention and after the invasion.

Abstract

Information literacy is essential for understanding complex biological concepts, yet instructional approaches that effectively support this competency require further examination. This study investigated the effect of resource-based learning on eleventh-grade students’ information literacy during respiratory system instruction. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest non-equivalent control group design was employed with 64 students from two science classes. Students’ information literacy was measured using a 30-item multiple-choice test developed according to the Association of College and Research Libraries framework. The instrument was reported as valid and demonstrated acceptable reliability, with a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.82. Post-intervention data were analyzed using analysis of covariance while controlling for initial scores. Students taught through resource-based learning achieved significantly higher information literacy scores than those taught through discovery learning, F = 5.42, p = 0.021, partial η² = 0.08. These findings indicate that resource-based learning can support students’ information literacy in biology instruction by engaging them in locating, comparing, evaluating, and synthesizing information from multiple resources. Its implementation, however, requires appropriate instructional management to address limited teaching time and technical constraints

Abstract

Introduction: Accurate and consistent medical record data are essential for patient safety, continuity of care, service evaluation, and health-system decision-making. However, data-quality problems may persist despite electronic medical record implementation because documentation is also shaped by human behaviour and organisational conditions. This study aimed to explore how health information management personnel understand and practise professional self-awareness, its perceived role in maintaining medical record accuracy and consistency, and the conditions supporting or constraining reflective data-management practices in Indonesian primary care. Research Methodology: A descriptive phenomenological study was conducted at Antang Primary Health Centre, Makassar, Indonesia, from April to June 2026. Twelve health information management personnel were recruited through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, field notes, and document review. Interview data were transcribed verbatim and analysed using a phenomenological thematic procedure involving significant-statement identification, meaning-unit formulation, coding, categorisation, and theme development. Trustworthiness was supported through triangulation, member checking, peer debriefing, reflexive journaling, and an audit trail. Results: Five major themes and ten subthemes were identified: professional responsibility for data integrity, reflective verification of medical record data, recognition and correction of documentation errors, organisational barriers to consistent documentation, and development of a collective data-quality culture. Participants had 1–12 years of professional experience, and interviews lasted 35–60 minutes. High workload, time pressure, incomplete documentation, and inconsistent recording practices constrained reflective verification. Conclusion: Professional self-awareness supports medical record integrity through verification, error recognition, reflection, communication, and corrective action. Primary healthcare facilities should combine individual accountability with standardised checklists, routine audits, supportive supervision, non-punitive error reporting, and digital validation mechanisms

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Personnel Information System in supporting human resources (HR) data management administration at Manado State University (UNIMA). This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through three main methods: in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document review. The findings reveal that the effectiveness of the personnel information system at UNIMA remains very low. This is primarily due to the absence of a comprehensively integrated system, resulting in HR data management heavily relying on manual methods and simple software like Microsoft Excel. Although the university has made digital transformation efforts, such as developing the Key Performance Indicators (MPI) management information system and collaborating with Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) for system adoption, these initiatives remain partial and have not encompassed the entire personnel management cycle. Consequently, the system's ineffectiveness causes systemic impacts, including administrative delays in employee promotions and reporting, errors in staff planning, and potential threats to study program accreditation. Furthermore, it causes the institution to fail in implementing the principles of Good University Governance (GUG) and the legally mandated merit system. Therefore, improving the personnel system at UNIMA requires strategic steps, including issuing formal policies, continuously enhancing HR capacity and infrastructure, and developing an integrated system specifically tailored to the university's needs.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is a key indicator of healthcare service quality and reflects patients' evaluation of the services they receive. Although Pasar Rebo Regional General Hospital (RSUD Pasar Rebo), Jakarta, has achieved a high level of public satisfaction, patient feedback continues to indicate concerns regarding service fairness and the clarity of information provided during outpatient care. This study aimed to examine the effects of perceived service justice and information clarity on outpatient satisfaction at RSUD Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. A quantitative explanatory research design employing a survey method was used. Primary data were collected through questionnaires administered to 392 outpatient respondents and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was conducted using t-tests to examine the partial effects of each independent variable and an F-test to assess their simultaneous effect on patient satisfaction. The findings revealed that perceived service justice and information clarity had positive and statistically significant effects on outpatient satisfaction, both individually and simultaneously. Descriptive analysis indicated that respondents generally perceived service justice and information clarity to be at a good level. Nevertheless, several issues remained, particularly regarding queue management, administrative procedures, accessibility of information, and consistency in information delivery during peak service hours. Patient satisfaction was also categorized as good, although it remained at a moderate level, suggesting that patients generally had positive service experiences but that their expectations had not been fully met. The study concludes that strengthening fairness in service delivery and ensuring that information is clear, accessible, and consistently communicated are important strategies for improving outpatient satisfaction. These findings provide practical implications for hospital management in designing patient-centered service quality improvement initiatives.
