Abstract

Kampung Siaga Bencana (KSB) is a community-based disaster risk reduction initiative aimed at strengthening local community capacity in disaster management. However, disaster information management at the grassroots level remains constrained by top-down and technocentric reporting systems, weak coordination among volunteers, fragmented data management, and limited community participation. This study aims to formulate the strategy for strengthening KSB through a Participatory Disaster Information System (Sistem Informasi Partisipatif/SIP) in Ujungberung, Bandung. The study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach by involving KSB volunteers as co-researchers, facilitated through the Technology of Participation (ToP) method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), observation, and documentation studies, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal five major community needs in developing the system: (1) integrated disaster data management across pre-disaster, emergency response, and post-disaster phases; (2) smartphone-based rapid reporting with real-time visual documentation; (3) volunteer competency mapping for tactical mobilization; (4) user-friendly application interfaces; and (5) managerial clarity regarding system operators within the KSB structure. The development of SIP transformed the previous system (SIGERCEP) into a participatory digital platform that improved information management and emergency coordination while strengthening participation, sense of ownership, empowerment, and community resilience. The study also found that community strengthening is influenced not only by internal community capacities, but also by local leadership support, inter-agency communication, coordination among stakeholders, and linkages with government and disaster management institutions. The novelty of this study lies in integrating social work approaches, strengths perspective, community empowerment, and digital transformation into a participatory disaster information system model for community-based disaster risk reduction. Keywords: Kampung Siaga Bencana (KSB); Participatory Information System; Community Empowerment; Strengths Perspective; Community Resilience.

Abstract

PT.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on the Quality of Accounting Information Systems (AIS), the influence of the Quality of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) on the Quality of Financial Statements, and the direct influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on the Quality of Financial Statements within the Bandung City Government. A quantitative method with a descriptive-verificative approach was applied. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 126 employees from work units responsible for financial management and information systems at the Regional Secretariat of Bandung City Government. Data analysis employed the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique using SmartPLS to test the relationships among variables. The findings reveal that Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) with a path coefficient of 0.921 (t=53.43, p<0.05), and the Quality of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) has a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Financial Statements with a path coefficient of 0.658 (t=4.743, p<0.05). However, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) does not have a significant direct effect on the Quality of Financial Statements (path coefficient=0.247, p=0.109), indicating that the relationship may be influenced by external factors such as audit quality, human resource competence, and organizational characteristics. In conclusion, enhancing the quality of financial statements is more effectively achieved through strengthening the quality of Accounting Information Systems (AIS), which serves as a mediating variable between GCG and the Quality of Financial Statements.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of information technology utilization, human resource (HR) competence, and the work environment on employee performance at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Buleleng Regency. The study was prompted by fluctuations in employee attendance during 2025 despite the adoption of digital initiatives, including biometric attendance systems. A quantitative causal design was applied, involving 110 respondents selected from a population of 151 employees using disproportional random sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 25 after the required validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests were satisfied. The results show that information technology utilization (t = 2.094; p = 0.025), HR competence (t = 3.292; p = 0.001), and the work environment (t = 8.926; p < 0.001) each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The three predictors also have a significant simultaneous effect (F = 96.610; p < 0.001), with an Adjusted R² of 0.725, indicating that they jointly explain 72.5% of the variation in employee performance. The findings highlight the importance of integrating effective technology utilization with continuous competency development and a supportive work environment to strengthen employee performance and organizational effectiveness in public institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how financial literacy, investment motivation, information technology, and minimum capital affect Generation Z's inclination to invest in Purworejo Regency. Understanding the elements that influence Generation Z's intention to invest has become more important as their involvement in investment activities has grown. Information technology, minimum capital, financial literacy, and investing motivation are all thought to be significant factors that could affect investors' investment choices. This study used a structured questionnaire delivered using Google Forms as part of a quantitative research methodology. Purposive sampling was used to get data from 102 valid responses. Multiple linear regression was used to examine the collected data with the aid of SPSS software. The findings show that Generation Z's intention to invest is positively and significantly impacted by financial literacy, investment motivation, and minimal capital. In the meantime, investment intention is not significantly impacted by information technology. These results suggest that promoting investment intention among Generation Z requires enhancing financial awareness, boosting investment motivation, and expanding access to reasonably priced first investment money. Additionally, policymakers, financial institutions, and educational institutions can use the study's practical implications to develop initiatives that encourage youth investment engagement.

Abstract

Restaurants require integrated information management to connect ordering, payment, kitchen operations, sales transactions, and raw material management. At Adamsafee Bakery, Resto, and Cafe (ABRC), these activities required more structured information management to support restaurant operations and raw material handling. This study aims to develop a Web-Based Restaurant Management Information System at ABRC that integrates restaurant operational processes and applies the First in First Out (FIFO) method to raw material management. The study employed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study, while system design used Unified Modeling Language (UML). The implemented system supports ordering, payment, cashier order management, kitchen order management, raw material purchasing, material usage, and an owner dashboard. FIFO uses inventory receipt dates to determine the priority sequence of material usage, with recipe data providing the required material quantities for ordered menu items. Black-box Testing was conducted to examine the implemented system functions and FIFO mechanism based on specified testing scenarios. The results indicate that the tested functions operated according to their expected outputs, including the FIFO mechanism that prioritizes materials according to their receipt-date sequence. The study concludes that the implemented system integrates restaurant operational processes with raw material management and provides functional support for FIFO-based material usage. Quantitative impacts on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, costs, material waste, and overall performance were not measured and therefore require further evaluation.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an important component of public sector reform, including at the village level. However, the implementation of Village Information Systems in rural areas continues to face challenges associated with unstable internet connectivity, fragmented administrative applications, limited human capacity, and inconsistent data management. These conditions affect the effectiveness of Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE) and hinder the continuity of public services. This study aims to examine digital governance challenges in village administrations and develop a conceptual Hybrid Interoperability Model for Village Information Systems in Garut Regency, Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving 19 informants from village governments, district institutions, Diskominfo, and DPMD. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that fragmented systems and infrastructure limitations represent not only technical issues but also institutional challenges that influence administrative performance. In response to these conditions, the study proposes a Hybrid Interoperability Model that emphasizes administrative continuity, institutional coordination, and adaptive digital governance. The study contributes to the literature by reconceptualizing interoperability as a governance mechanism rather than merely a technological function. Practically, the findings provide insights for SPBE implementation and village governance reform in rural contexts characterized by infrastructural uncertainty and unequal digital capacities.

Abstract

Indonesian MSMEs face inequality in the adoption of accounting technology which causes reporting delays and a high risk of recording errors. This study aims to analyze the effect of the ease of use and usability of cloud-based POS on the speed and accuracy of the Accounting Information System (SIA), as well as the role of digital competence as a moderation variable. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire of 1–4 to 100 F&B MSME respondents in Surabaya using purposive sampling, analyzed by multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that the ease of use (sig. 0.000) and usability (sig. 0.000) of cloud POS had a positive and significant effect on the speed and accuracy of SIA. Digital competence was proven to strengthen both influences (sig. 0.009 and 0.040), with an Adjusted R Square of 50.1%. MSME actors are advised to increase digital literacy so that the benefits of cloud POS can be optimized.
