Abstract

Asset inventory management in government agencies requires a system that is able to ensure data accuracy, ease of monitoring, and presentation of information quickly and accurately. In the Kementerian Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (KP2MI), the inventory process of assets used by employees is still carried out manually, potentially causing data duplication, recording errors, difficulty in tracking the whereabouts of assets, and delays in preparing reports. This study aims to develop a web-based employee asset inventory information system to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of Barang Milik Negara (BMN) in the KP2MI environment. System development using the Waterfall method which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is developed using PHP programming language with MySQL database, while data collection is done through observation, interview, and literature study. Evaluation of the system is carried out using Black Box Testing to test the functionality of the system and the system Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the level of ease of use based on user perceptions. The test results showed that all 11 functional test scenarios were successfully executed, so that all system functions met the specified needs. In addition, the usability test obtained a SUS score of 82, which belongs to the category of Excellent with Grade A, indicating that the system has a very good level of ease of Use and can be accepted by users. The system developed is able to integrate asset data management, employee data, lending, returns, asset mutations, and presentation of reports in a centralized and real-time manner, thereby increasing data accuracy, accelerating report preparation, and supporting decision-making in asset management in the KP2MI environment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven a major transformation in the financial industry, including Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze policy strategies and information system implementation in the development of Islamic digital banking based on the principles of maqasid sharia. The method used is qualitative research with a desk study approach and policy analysis of various literature, regulations, and financial institution reports. The results show that Islamic digital banking has experienced significant growth thanks to the support of government policies through KNEKS, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and Bank Indonesia. However, major challenges still include low digital literacy among the public, limited technological infrastructure, and the absence of digital Islamic audit guidelines. Therefore, synergy between regulators, industry, and academia is needed to build inclusive, secure, and sustainable digital Islamic governance.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the time efficiency of the work procedures in the publication of the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) at the Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) of the Indonesian Air Navigation Service Provider Agency. The study was conducted from October 2024 to March 2025 by employing observational methods, open questionnaires, and documentation analysis. Findings indicate that the current publication process utilizes a 28-calendar-day timeframe, which does not accurately reflect the actual working conditions due to limited human resources. The amendment process averages over 100 charts per cycle, peaking at 229 charts, while validation is manually performed by six active personnel. Data submission often surpasses deadlines, shortening processing time. Based on analysis of work stages, interviews, and documentation, an alternative timeframe with an ideal duration of 42 working days (54 calendar days) is proposed. Implementation of this optimization strategy is expected to enhance work efficiency and maintain the quality and sustainability of aeronautical information publication

Abstract

Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) is an official publication issued by, or under the authority of, a State containing permanent aeronautical information essential for air navigation. Despite its importance, various data errors are still found, potentially affecting flight safety. This study aims to identify data errors in AIP publications and propose methods to minimize them. A qualitative method with triangulation techniques - observation, interviews, and documentation - was employed during On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the Aeronautical Information Center. The findings reveal that frequent errors include mismatches between text and charts, coordinate inaccuracies, inconsistencies in navigation station names, and discrepancies in effective dates between documents. The primary cause is the manual implementation of the Quality Control (QC) process. As a solution, the study proposes a web-based “Quality Control Monitoring Checklist Form” to enhance accuracy and documentation. The adoption of a digital QC system, along with updates to applicable SOPs, STDs, and technical guidelines, is expected to reduce data errors in AIP publications.

Abstract

The Muna District Government has also applied SIRUP to ease the announcement of procurement of goods and services. But the general success of this information system in the work units of Muna Regency has not been much studied. So that in this study, it will be tested the success of the information system on the General Procurement Plan in Muna Regency based on Delone and McLean Model of the information system. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how well the information system worked in the work units of the regency's government. The evaluation applies the Delone and McLean model with six dimensions: system quality, service quality, information quality, user satisfaction, user usage, and net benefit. This research uses quantitative approach with descriptive and statistical analysisémethods. There is only one finding that system quality significantly influences usage. Meanwhile, system quality, information, and service significantly affect user satisfaction. Therefore, the conclusion is that the government needs to increase innovation and improve the management of service and system quality to enhance user engagement and raise awareness of the SIRUP Application, thereby increasing user satisfaction with it. Abstract

Information gathering is an essential component of academic writing because students need to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant information before constructing a coherent report text. Nevertheless, students learning English as a Foreign Language often encounter difficulties in managing information systematically during the writing process. This study investigates how eleventh-grade students at Darul Falah Sei Kamah II Private Islamic Senior High School gather information for writing report texts using the Big6 Model as a diagnostic framework. Employing a qualitative case study design, the study collected data through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and analysis of students’ written texts and analyzed them using Miles and Huberman’s data reduction procedures. The findings reveal procedural weaknesses across several stages of the Big6 Model: students frequently bypassed task definition, relied on limited information sources, and encountered linguistic barriers when selecting and processing relevant information. These difficulties resulted in report texts that lacked systematic organization, coherence, and adequate information development. The study concludes that weaknesses in information-gathering processes directly influence the quality of students’ report writing, highlighting the need to integrate information literacy instruction into English as a Foreign Language writing pedagogy.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a web-based information system to support the digital documentation, management, and dissemination of Karo cultural heritage. Unlike typical single-admin cultural documentation systems, the internal data management in this system is distributed across five hierarchical staff roles Admin, Registrar, Curator, Leadership, and Educator implementing a segregation-of-duties principle through a workflow that begins with initial data entry, continues through research and classification by the Curator, authorization by the Leadership, and culminates in the preparation of public educational narratives by the Educator prior to publication for Visitors. The results show that all scenarios were valid, indicating that the system is able to manage cultural heritage data systematically through a multi-level verification mechanism, support accountability through activity-log recording, and make it easier for Visitors to explore the history and gallery of Karo culture through catalog, search, and filtering features without needing to register an account.
