Abstract

Traffic information condition is a very useful information for road user because road user can choose his best route for each trip from his origin to his destination. The final goal for this research is to develop real time traffic information system for road user using real time traffic volume. Main input for developing real time traffic information system is an origin-destination (O-D) matrix to represent the travel pattern. However, O-D matrices obtained through a large scale survey such as home or road side interviews, tend to be costly, labour intensive and time disruptive to trip makers. Therefore, the alternative of using traffic counts to estimate O-D matrices is particularly attractive. Models of transport demand have been used for many years to synthesize O-D matrices in study areas. A typical example of the approach is the gravity model; its functional form, plus the appropriate values for the parameters involved, is employed to produce acceptable matrices representing trip making behaviour for many trip purposes and time periods. The work reported in this paper has combined the advantages of acceptable travel demand models with the low cost and availability of traffic counts. Two types of demand models have been used: gravity (GR) and gravity-opportunity (GO) models. Four estimation methods have been analysed and tested to calibrate the transport demand models from traffic counts, namely: Non-Linear-Least-Squares (NLLS), Maximum-Likelihood (ML), Maximum-Entropy (ME) and Bayes-Inference (BI). The Bandung’s Urban Traffic Movement survey has been used to test the developed method. Based on several statistical tests, the estimation methods are found to perform satisfactorily since each calibrated model reproduced the observed matrix fairly closely. The tests were carried out using two assignment techniques, all-or-nothing and equilibrium assignment.

Abstract

In this paper, the construction and stability analysis of a SEIR epidemic model with information are discussed. This model contains information about how to prevent the spread of infectious diseases which is transmitted by infected individuals to susceptible individuals. Furthermore, the dynamical analysis of the model which includes determination of equilibrium points terms of existence, stability analysis of the equilibrium points and sensitivity analysis are observed. Local stability of the equilibrium point is determined by linearizing the system around the equilibrium point and checking for the eigenvalue sign of Jacobian matrix at each equilibrium point. Sensitivity analysis is performed by using a sensitivity index to measure the relative change of basic reproduction number on each parameter. Based on the analysis result, there are two equilibrium points namely disease-free equilibrium point and endemic equilibrium point. The disease-free equilibrium point always exists and is locally asymptotically stable if the basic reproduction number is less than one. Moreover, the endemic equilibrium point exists and is locally asymptotically stable under certain conditions. From sensitivity analysis, it is found that the rate of mortality is the most sensitive parameter and the least sensitive parameter is the rate of exposed individual becomes infected individual. Finally, numerical simulation is conducted to support the analysis result. Keywords: Epidemic, information, sensitivity analysis, SEIR, stability analysis.

Abstract

GVSM is one of the models of IR systems. GVSM divided into two processes i.e. preprocessing process namely reading the text (*.pdf, *.doc,*.docx), tokenization, filtration, stemming, and parse the query and the process of calculating the relevance of the document that has been done preprocessing with user query to get the value of similarity. In general, to determine of the effectiveness of IR application is determined by two factors, namely recall and precision [7,8,10]. According to Järvelin and Ingwersen, the effectiveness of IR application is not only determined by the recall and precision, but rather the ability of IR applications in helping users to complete the search more effective and efficient. The effectiveness of an IR application is determined by recall, precision, time requirements, and reporting documents are presented to the user [7]. To improve the performance of IR applications in time requirements is implemented multithreading in the preprocessing process, i.e. stage 1 to stage 4 GVSM method. The result showed that the method GVSM able to rediscover relevant documents with 100% the precision value, to get the recall value which is equal to the same documents collection either with or without multithreading, but can save processing time by over 50 %.

Abstract

Competence of Vocational High School (VHS) students can be qualified, if students have competence in accordance with industry needs. The synchronization of the curriculum with the industry is absolutely necessary, so the school is not left behind by the development of the business world and the industrial world. The development of learning model should always be updated or done curriculum innovation, so that schools can synergize with DUDI. This study aims to (1) to know the implementation of the Device Network Application Initiative learning model, (2) to know the advantages and disadvantages of applying the Device Network Application Initiative learning model, (3) to know the effectiveness of the learning model of the Device Network Application Initiative for the Department of Technology and Information. The learning model of the Device Network Application Initiative (DNA Initiative) (the DNA curriculum) is the application of industrial curriculum to VHS education. Model innovation. The business world and the industrial world (dunia usaha dunia industry/DUDI) are more confident with students who get their learning materials of industry standard. This study uses a qualitative method. The research was conducted by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. Secondary data in the form of documentation is used to support the research. Focus Group Discussion by presenting DUDI, curriculum experts, industrial class managers, user / user graduates, teachers and testimonials, concluded that the implementation of the Device Network Application Initiative learning model for vocational students is very effective andappropriate. The contribution to schools is the implementation of process concept that schools are industrial environments or industrial replicas.

Abstract

Energy scarcity has been known to be one of the most noticeable challenges in wireless communication system. In this paper, the performance of an energy harvesting based partial relay selection (PRS) cooperative system with transmit antenna selection (TAS) and outdated channel state information (CSI) is investigated. The system dual-hops links are assumed to follow Rayleigh distribution and the relay selection is based on outdated CSI of the first link. To realize the benefit of multiple antenna, the amplified-and-forward (AF) relay nodes then employs the TAS technique for signal transmission and signal reception is achieved at the destination through maximum ratio combining (MRC) scheme. Thus, the closed-form expression for the system equivalent end-to-end cumulative distribution function (CDF) is derived. Based on this, the analytical closed-form expressions for the outage probability, average bit error rate, and throughput for the delay-limited transmission mode are then obtained. The results illustrated that the energy harvesting time, relay distance, channel correlation coefficient, the number of relay transmit antennas and destination received antenna have significant effect on the system performance. Monte-carol simulation is employed to validate the accuracy of the derived expressions.
