Abstract

Rapid development of the City of Jakarta were followed by increased population. This phenomenon have an effect of creating more unfortunate people. As a consequence, the Local Government of Jakarta requires to build more social and public facilities. Therefore, informaton system becomes very important to provide information to public regarding the location of the facilities. The system is based-on Geographic Information System (GIS). This system assists the Local Government in planning the city development as well as facilitate user for searching social and public facilities.Keyword(s): Mapping, Social facility, Public facility, Geographic information system.Subject Description : H. Abstract

Information integration has been developping for fullfill some needs at many areas. Currently, there are still many challenging in information integration issues. One of the main trigger in information integration is internet, web, ‘easier’ to develop electronic data and distributed computing infrastructure. There are many questions arise in information integration. What are the requirements changed over time? What key progress has been made? How in the future?. The meaning of information integration are involve information interoperability, information sharing. Information and data definition in this paper is described as data is a source of information. Therefore, sometime, using of terminology data and information is changeable. Refer to current condition, to decide it is data or information depends on point of view user. Many afford in research and industrial practices have been introduced since two decades. From effort in transfer file, federate, until semantic mediation, and information broker have been done and still continue until today. The challenges for today information integration are well understood. Information integration purpose is in order to manage and use information effectively. Find new approach to overcome previous problem will be still continues. This report contains a survey on some approach of information integration. The paper will be divided in four sections. First section writes about introduction and generation of information integration as a background theory talk in section two. Section four points out some ‘new’ information integration approach. And the last section gives summary of the paper. Keywords : survey, information integration

The internet bring huge computer network from physical layer to information layer. Especially for information layer, searching appropriate information is a big issue. The P2P based on social life which put in information layer can give other approach compare to database era (traditional information integration). P2P is not new technology, it was introduce at beginning of 80’s, but at this time had difficulties to implement in the real world cause of restricted of technology. This report contains a survey on some approach of information integration. The paper will be divided in some sections. A section will talk the database model for information integration. The next section will describe P2P contribution in information integration. Keywords : survey, information integration, P2P

Abstract

In the information era, competence and skill in processing data into ready to use information becomes necessary. Special hospital for pregnancy care and as a center for inpatient of giving birth mother require specific information system for handling patient data. The main problem in a hospital is the difficulty of medical doctor and medical staff in using computer as a media for entering data or creating reports. Conventional approach of classic database development is using DFD – ERD. To overcome problems when using this approach, taking into account user interface may enrich the design process. In this case study, impact of the approach for the developed system using DFD – ERD only compared to the same system with user interface. The fact shows that the user interface enriched approach provides operational easiness. Keyword(s): Information system, Hospital, InpatientSubject Description : D.2.Software Engineering | D.2.10.Design | Methodologies

Abstract

In the information era at this time all humankind in each aspect of his life expect a fast and exact service both in the healthy situation and the situation to be sick. Likewise his matter with that is hop for by all the elements of the framer of the system in the Pancoranmas community health centre, the patient 's satisfaction is not enough only well not him the community health centre, professional him the doctor along with medical him, but also depend from fast and to be precise the information service that is need by the patient. By using aids of the system plan, then is develop by an information system so as facilitat in the matter kept, modified, process and access the data in accordance with the requirement, from this system it is hop time that is us to access the data like the patient 's data, medicine, the story of the health of the patient could be more fast, efficient and safe in his storage and accurate, with the availability of quality information and the good communications network interdepartmental will increase the productivity of his officials, this plan of the information system if being us is the opportunity for the community health centre to increase the service and professionalism.Keyword(s) : information system, puskesmas, spiral, water-fallSubject description: K.6.Management of Computing and Information | K.6.3. Abstract

This  research  aims  to  investigate  internet  utilization among  undergraduate  students (S1) of  Information Systems,  Information Technology, Management, Accounting and D3 degree students of Business and Entrepreneurship.  Extant internet facility in this study  is  utilization  of  University  website  by  the  students  in  accordance  with  their academic grades and assignments given by  the  lecturers. This research also  focuses on determinant and  constraint  factors  in choosing  internet as media  for  information searching  and  browsing. The  respondents  for  this  study  are  students  of Faculty  of Economics  and  Faculty  of  Computer  Science,  Gunadarma  University.    From  1200 targeted respondents, only 41 students respond in the first stage and 140 in the second stage. Questionnaire  is  delivered  using  (download  mode  in)  lecturer  website. Respondents  were  grouped  based  on  the  study  program, Statistical  testing  using SPSS  indicates  that  the  most  frequent  visited  websites  are  education-related  ones, whereas the most searched and browsed websites are the commercial and institutional ones.   The most  exploited menu  in  the University website  is Studentsite. Pearson’s chi-square  test  (with  significance degree =  0.006) denotes a  significant  relationship between study program and students’ confidence level of internet contribution to their study.  Moreover, the levels of students’ confidence vary among program studies.   Keywords:  determinant  factors,  constraint  factors,  internet,  information,  university students, websites.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of user participation on accounting information system performance with top management support, task complexity, system complexity, user skill as moderating variable and the effect of accounting information system performance on individual performance. The population in this study are employees on good banking company bank Persero or BUSN Devisa listed in Bank Indonesia totaling 39 banks including bank persero 4 and 35 BUSN Devisa. Total Bank to be sampled are 8 banks and total of respondent are 100 respondents. Using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and Moderate-Structural Equation Modelling. The results show that user participation influence significantly on AIS performance. Top management support, task complexity, system complexity, user skill moderates the effect of user participation on AIS performance. And AIS performance influence significantly on individual performance Keywords:  Infromation Asymmetry, Size, Return on Asset, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Earning Management

Abstract

It has been identified that Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia play an important role in the Indonesia’s economy. Its contribution to the national economy (i.e., GDP and export values), however, is relatively minimal as to compare with its unit numbers and number of labor involved. It is also of considerable lower than those of large-sized enterprises whose unit number and number of labor involved were much lower than those of SMEs. This, to some extent, indicates that SMEs’ productivity is relatively low. Some improvements are required accordingly. Information and communication technology, especially Internet technology application within SMEs is regarded to have the potentials to significantly increase their business performance. This study is aimed at investigating factors that potentially affect internet adoption and analyzing the impact of internet adoption on business performance of small-sized agribusiness firms. Modified Supply Process Model was adopted as an approach model in this study. One hundred and one small-sized agribusiness owners/operators were randomly selected as respondents. Primary data were collected and analyzed using path analysis. Results of the study showed that internet adoption within small-sized agribusiness owners/operators was significantly affected by perceived ease of use, internet self efficacy, internet anxiety, and personal innovativeness. Small-sized agribusiness firms’ business performance was affected by the level of internet adoption (i.e., non-adopter, potential adopter or adopter). This indicates that internet technology has the potentials to increase business performance.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology utilization on academic administration service in college is now a need. It is no longer a prestige or a modern college management lifestyle. The writer conduct an analysis of system information of tuition payment occuring in the college. She develops the system information of the occuring tuition payment by waterfall method and draws a system design described by Unified Modelling Language (UML). The academic integrated and online system can make the system become more efficient and effective so that it produces the more accurate information. Keywords: SDLC, Waterfall, Tuition
